The guy said he would have it ready in an hour. Almost 3 hours later we when in to pick up the phone. We were then told it wouldn't be ready until the next day, and they would call. The next day came and no phone call to say it was ready. So the following day I went into the store. At which time they said it's not covered under warranty and refused to cover their faulty product. This company is a complete rip off. And do not hold up to their warranties. So unless you want to flush $150.00 down the toilet I would not take a phone in for repairs!!

Saved me a lot of cash. Come across too many tech guys who find "problems" with your computer that need piles of cash to repair, or charge WAY more than needed simply because of your lack of tech knowledge, Erik is honest and so helpful, he'll never tell you to part with money you don't need to.

I have been to the store a handful of times and each time the general impression I got was a…read morelaidback, too casual setting for a business, I noticed the staff members talk to you like you have no idea what you're talking about; for example one time I had a staff member tell me what an ethernet cable was even though I have a background in computers. I remember another occasion where there was a discussion about tax exploitation from someone who was a duel citizen.. when you walk in it's pretty cluttered and quite dusty even in the product photos you can see an accumulation of dust. Nobody knows any of the prices and when you try an inquire about a certain item they redirect you to more expensive unrelated items, I understand trying to upsell but when its a certain component for a CPU, maybe don't. I don't think I'll be back here maybe unless I want to know how to cheat the tax system with crypto when they openly discuss it.

ASUS had me send a tablet there for repair. The original repair was for a extreme screen light…read moreleakage problem. The repair facility in question did nothing but turn the brightness level down to lessen the effect of the light leakage and sent it back. When I complained to ASUS support they said to send it back and provided for the shipping. Clearly the repair depot did not like this and decided to change the screen with a defective one they had removed on another repair job that had deficiencies such as low brightness level and a greenish tinged display. I sent comparison photos of this screen and the properly functioning screen on my wife's TF 101 to ASUS customer care. ASUS said to send it back again and provided the shipping. The repair facility returned it with the same screen but claimed to Asus that they replaced with a new screen. This process has been repeated 3 more times with claims to ASUS they replaced with new screens even though they made no such repairs. This appears to be fraud against ASUS because I never received one and they claimed for at least three new screens plus assorted ribbon cables. I am sure these screens are worth several hundred dollars each. This facility went as far as saying they replaced the tablet altogether but as I recognized marks on my tablet and it still had the defective green tinged screen I knew all they did was change the serial number sticker on the bezel. ASUS seems unable to make this contract facility repair my tablet despite now ASUS paying for shipping about a 14 times. Since ASUS Canada could not get this repair done, I tried going to ASUS US customer service but they had me send it to the same North Bay facility with the same result, refusal to make the warranty repair. Because of the idiotic and negligent actions of this facility who repeatedly refused to follow ASUS demands to replace the defective screen ( they were responsible for installing in the first place), I have lost the use of my tablet for nearly 8 months.

Service was...well meaning, but the guy was trying to do three jobs at the same time, gave him some…read moretime and the service got better.(This tells so much, it's not the people, it is the system). Bought a cple of major appliances, made arrangements to pick up at store, we live in a rural area, and delivery was easier if I just picked it up. Was told, be here next Tuesday, the following Wednesday looking at some clear weather decided, should call...oh wait..the store has no telephone number..?Out of service, check the "My account" and can find the order, cant see anything but the price I paid and the "find my order keeps spitting back at me "email or transaction number wrong"...so here I go "India Call Center" Not ineffectual at communication, however like me cant see 5hit! Now after 17 minutes awaiting to get someone I am getting bumped "UP". This is where the two star rating comes in, It's going to be a full week later than I was told. I wouldn't had cared, but I am a day behind the original scheduled pickup. I am like most people, have to wrangle the time to do such things, a day behind with NO CALL NO EMAIL NO TEXT to save me the 200KM round trip cause it didnt get delivered when I was told? I have an account, a sign in, a registered email....really is this what Canada's future is looking like? Cause the future is here...

They do not have access to store purchases. Why would the advertised store number be a call center that has NO information to help an in store customer? Last purchase I make from here as they are no better than the online retailers now. Sad to see what Future Shop was gutted into. Not to mention I asked to be shown speakers, as I could only find 1 brand of wired surround speakers. The clerk took me to absurd bluetooth speakers not understanding what I meant by wired speakers.... The lack of store displays and trial equipment really make you wonder why pay for a major retail space if your doing nothing more that showing the boxes like Amazon. Also would help your customer experience by educating your sales team on technologies that they are selling so they understand what and why they are selling certain items, and be able to answer questions or at least find the answers quickly.
