I find I get mixed emotions from the employees. Some are simply amazing will show you exactly what you want, give you suggestions (and often times the ones you want not the most expensive), and will walk through every step with you and make sure you have a good time, where other times you go in and try and ask the employees for things but they just ignore you and never bother to help you it's more of a "ya we have that it's... Somewhere.." I do remember one case where a program I purchased wouldn't load on my computer so I brought both to their help, and they fixed it that day as I walked around the mall. I was expecting to have to wait a day or so but they told me that it would be ready in two hours and to go shopping and in fact it was ready before that time. read more

Service was...well meaning, but the guy was trying to do three jobs at the same time, gave him some time and the service got better.(This tells so much, it's not the people, it is the system). Bought a cple of major appliances, made arrangements to pick up at store, we live in a rural area, and delivery was easier if I just picked it up. Was told, be here next Tuesday, the following Wednesday looking at some clear weather decided, should call...oh wait..the store has no telephone number..?Out of service, check the "My account" and can find the order, cant see anything but the price I paid and the "find my order keeps spitting back at me "email or transaction number wrong"...so here I go "India Call Center" Not ineffectual at communication, however like me cant see 5hit! Now after 17 minutes awaiting to get someone I am getting bumped "UP". This is where the two star rating comes in, It's going to be a full week later than I was told. I wouldn't had cared, but I am a day behind the original scheduled pickup. I am like most people, have to wrangle the time to do such things, a day behind with NO CALL NO EMAIL NO TEXT to save me the 200KM round trip cause it didnt get delivered when I was told? Can't call the store, Automated Indian call center answers all calls and online help, the call center lacks the ability to communicate in English effectively via phone or text. They do not have access to store purchases. Why would the advertised store number be a call center that has NO information to help an in store customer? Last purchase I make from here as they are no better than the online retailers now. Sad to see what Future Shop was gutted into. Not to mention I asked to be shown speakers, as I could only find 1 brand of wired surround speakers. The clerk took me to absurd bluetooth speakers not understanding what I meant by wired speakers.... The lack of store displays and trial equipment really make you wonder why pay for a major retail space if your doing nothing more that showing the boxes like Amazon. Also would help your customer experience by educating your sales team on technologies that they are selling so they understand what and why they are selling certain items, and be able to answer questions or at least find the answers quickly. read more

Josh was outstanding in customer service. I purchased an iPad that turned out to be a lemon. I returned it to the store for an exchange and he was thoroughly professional, kind, efficient, and fabulous to speak to. First time buying a iPhone, Mark is the person that helped me he was quite annoyed that I did not know what I wanted I told why I had and that I basically wanted close to what I had or better. Never made any suggestions or walk me through different iPhones told me the best for me was the iPhone SE, and he did Not even finish serving me passed me on to Gavin Who was very nice wish I would of had him from the get go and come to find out MARK is a manager not a very good exemple for his team. Anyway ended up going back to make a return the SE was not for me. Second visit James helped me what a different experience he went through the different phones Left with exactly what I wanted but first had to make a return which if I would have gotten the services the first time there would have been no return. Great service from James and Gavin. Mark not so much, will never deal with him again. read more

If you are looking for customer service you won't find it here. Prior to Best Buy taking over this store I had received a written quote for a stacking washer and dryer set from an employee of Future Shop. When my husband and I went back to purchase the set we were also looking for a new stove. Not only were we told the employee who gave us the written quote no longer worked at the store, (why this should have been disclosed to us is beyond me) but the quote was no longer valid. There was no offer to negotiate a new deal, the price on the washer and dryer was the best that there was period. The surly, unprofessional attitude of the Best Buy employee cost their company a sale of almost $3,000. We went to Home Depot where their employee did a price comparison on the appliances we were looking at, matched the advertised price and gave us a 10% discount because Home Depot's price was ONLY $1.00 more. He also included the stacking kit for free. The $300.00 we saved on the washer, dryer and stove was spent on patio furniture, at Home Depot. Save yourselves running all over town looking for the best buy, you will find it at Home Depot NOT Best Buy. Update, went again to Best Buy to purchase a replacement cord for my iPhone. I knew that I had purchased one before for around $10.00, however when I interrupted three employees that were involved in a personal discussion to ask where I might find this item I was shown charging cords priced at $19.99 and told that the $9.99 cords were discontinued...funny thing Walmart has them. Be careful when purchasing stuff at Best Buy! Whenever you see something you want, do a price comparison on Amazon or another website. I remember I was looking to buy a new battery for my camera and they were selling them for 80$ each. Kinda pricey, but okay. So I looked on Amazon shortly after and found a pack of two batteries, with a charger, and car charger for 30$. 30$!!!! And Best Buy wanted 80$ for 1!!! Needless to say, I chose the better deal. Their service is also hit or miss. I remember buying a TV there and they were very helpful. However, I remember buying a modem router and their service was awful. The guy I talked to in the computer section, had no clue what he was talking about. He told me his sob story how he lives in the boonies with bad wifi reception and I should be grateful for the internet speed I had. Who cares? You are paid to help the customer with their problems, do your job. I ended up asking my friend for help. read more
