I don't recommend Bluestream Cable, if you have a choice. Some days I lose my phone connection and other days and evenings no cable. What is their problem?. Their ratings are terrible, and now, WIFI is so slow plus service is interrupted every week. I don't think they can handle the problems and I don't want to pay for no service, so often. I also don't want my tv to go off when I step out of the room to get a glass of water. read more

Blue Stream is the absolute worst. Their system is continuously down both for our tvs, computers, and laptops! My building switched to Blue Strem and I regret everyday not staying with Comcast. I've called their service department multiple times and nothing gets resolved!! Everyday the tvs have those 3 moving dots. And when I say everyday, I mean everyday!! I can't understand how our home owners association would make this change without seeing your horrible reviews online!! Let's start here. If I could give ZERO stars I would. My HOA has been a customer for almost a year. We started with a HORRIBLE initial deployment. We still have hardware issues within the HOA regarding hardware. The "Dedicated Line" for Help Desk is HORRIBLE. One day once my call was answered, I asked the tech is there a major outage at that time or are they short staffed. He said they were short staffed. God forbid you or you HOA would plan to sign up with BSF. Ask them about redundancy. We have had several issues with power outages, lines dug up, and data center issues preventing us having internet. There is a reason why they are the CHEAPEST provided of bandwidth. They skimp on wherever they can. I can't believe we have nine more years of this contract. Quite possibly the worst internet service I've ever had. This is twice now in one week where the internet just goes out. Really hoping another ISP will service my area soon. Horrible! Don't let your HOA accept BlueStream's bribe to lock up your community. They gave a $250K payoff to the HOA and locked us in for 10 years! It worked for a few weeks and now it is FUBAR. So, we are stuck with paying BlueStream via our dues. It is NOT WORTH IT! I will have Quantum back to reconnect us. So I will pay for BlueStream and Quantum. The neighborhood observed that the internet speed test gets clogged when bundled to all 345 homes as they described the internet is sharing the pipe line with all which causes lag and disconnect. My personal experience. It is 100% negative now. AOL was better back in the dial-up days than the crummy service from BlueStream. Too bad the HOA got locked into the LOUSY SERVICE of BlueStream. If your HOA hears about the bribe they offer, RUN, FIRE YOUR HOA board. Now I pay more for internet than before due to the HOA contract handcuffs. BlueStream get paid while I have the extra cost of Quantum. I don't recall issues with Quantum. The HOA got bamboozled into locking us up to lousy BlueStream. read more

I've waited over a month, with the hope that it was just initial installation issues, but their service is getting worse, not better -- there have been frequent outages since our building brought them in (one lasting close to 12 hours). Their speeds that the promised (1G symmetric) are in reality usually closer to 750M/650M, well below what we had previously received with Google Fiber. I don't know by what mechanism our board approved them, but they were made aware of complaints by other buildings but went with them any way. AVOID! read more

Absolutely disgusting customer service and billing support. This company charged my account, two months later charged the same amount plus late fees and said our payment was returned, which it was not. Verified this with my bank. Customer service has said multiple times that they cannot resolve the issue and would have someone call, no one has called. Call back everyday and receive no help. They have now charged 3xs the amount of our monthly bill and said "just pay it and we will eventually figure it out". What a scam!!! read more

In general I think all cable is a scam. They lure you in with a nice package that is affordable and then bam that contract expires and your bill goes up $100. My community was contracted with Advanced Cable for MANY years. When the contract ended we stayed with Advanced, which was then taken over by blue stream. That is when the customer service went from helpful to "we don't care." It took 3 long phone calls to try to figure out why I was $700 past due - paying my bill on time - and 3 lies to make me cancel my service. On 6/12/24 Blue Stream Fiber offered new and existing customers a specific residential internet promotion: 1 gig for $50 for life with the total of $71.99 per month. I went to pay my internet bill today and they've raised the price to $80.94. What good is a promotional offer from Blue Stream Fiber if they don't abide by their own deal? This internet service provider has been going downhill lately. Especially when it comes to customer service. They have zero customer service skills. It's pathetic. All they want to do it seems is suck money out of people. I called them twice today to get some assistance with this matter and I got absolutely nowhere. The people on the other end of the phone are totally useless and unhelpful. All they do is make up excuses and say there's nothing they can do. The primary issue is a complete loss of internet service reaching my router. This has occurred repeatedly despite approximately ten technician visits to my home. Each visit has resulted in temporary or no resolution, and the problem continues to occur on a regular basis. It is clear that Blue Stream Fiber has been unable to provide reliable service or permanently correct the issue. In addition to the ongoing service outages, it is extremely difficult to reach customer service or technical support. During service interruptions, I have spent significant time attempting to contact support with little success. This lack of accessible and effective customer support has compounded the impact of the service failures. I also returned company-issued repeaters after they were removed from my service. Despite contacting billing and receiving confirmation that the charges would be removed, Blue Stream Fiber continues to bill me for equipment that is no longer in my possession. This represents a serious billing and account management concern that has not been corrected. My household relies on consistent and reliable internet service to work from home. We experience service interruptions multiple times per day, often lasting 20 minutes or longer, which directly impacts our ability to perform our jobs and maintain productivity. I am filing this complaint to request immediate and permanent resolution of the service reliability issues and correction of the improper billing charges. If Blue Stream Fiber cannot provide reliable service as contracted, I expect appropriate corrective action, including account adjustments and contract review options. Had bluestream in Windermere Florida. Was awesome...at first. But constant outages forced me to go back to spectrum. Yes...back to spectrum. My neighbor stayed with bluestream saying " hopefully they will get it stabilized". Well about three months ago, he went back to spectrum. Folks....going "back to spectrum" is crazy because spectrum isn't great either. But it's way better than bluestream. read more

This is the worst company we have ever dealt with. First they overcharged us by $90.02 and it took us almost 2 hours to straighten this out. We have a 2 story cinderblock and they were supposed to put in pods to insure internet on our second floor. We asked the tech and he said we were fine and we most definitely were not. We've called this company to get this straightened out and haven't gotten a straight answer. Our condo has done this and takes no responsibility for this mess. We are NOT getting the 500 mbps that we were told we would get. Do not have dealings with this company because you will not get what is promised. Bluestream activated in my condo unit yesterday. And to be honest with you, I didn't know anything about fiber optic. My HOA contracted with them, so there's no choice. My eyebrows raised last year when I heard that the cost was reduced only because of a long term contract, I said oh boy, hope they're good. So anyway, yesterday was the day. Tech was a sweetheart. Skilled as well. I saw that cable cords were no longer necessary, as fiber optic uses wifi. So, there's a connector to my outside wall, a gray box modem mounted on an inside wall, and a small gray node thing plugged into my electric outlet, which connects my ethernet cord to my CPU. In the living room with the TV, just a small box and one cord to the TV. Gray box modem has indicator light spots for 5 spaces. Mine lights up 3, with a 4th flashing. I asked if that's normal, they said yeah. Internet seems fine. But the TV, I noticed, right off the bat had kind of a latency/lag when you scroll through the menu, he said that's normal. (Well, it wasn't normal for Xfinity). Then throughout the whole night the screen would freeze and go to the blue circle loading, and eventually it shut down altogether saying I'm not on the network. I wasn't loving Bluestream at this point, obviously. And I miss my old Xfinity remote that was comfortable in my hand, had only a few buttons, and lit up like a Xmas tree when you shook it, so you can see it in the dark. This remote has like, 30 tiny things you can press (including the number buttons). I called CS, and was impressed. Right away you get a person, you get help, and you can understand them, and they seem to want to help you. They are available 24/7 she said, which is great. She has me unplug the box and plug back in, and she reset things on her end. That "fixed" it. But I got the distinct impression this is a common problem. She said it doesn't usually occur on the first day, though. So, I'm thinking, maybe I should google this company at this point, and I do, and there's all these bad reviews on yelp. I filtered BY DATE so as not to bias toward good or bad reviews, and all the most recent were bad. That's astonishing. So, I fully expect service to be interrupted at some point again, and they'll "fix" it again, but I'll just deal with it. My internet is fine, which is the main thing. I'm starting to wonder that with the TV, if this isn't a sign to start watching less TV. There might be a silver lining. read more

The shotty quality of their service is beyond frustrating, it's debilitating. They NEVER answer the phone because they have like 3 employees total in the office. I went there one time just to see, stood in the lobby, called their line, heard it ring and watch no one answer. Their technicians are poorly trained and OVERWORKED, and under paid. While the techs who have visited our house to install and then repair our internet and TV service have been top drawer, the company they work for is unforgivably uncooperative and callous. You cannot reach them by phone (hold times are in excess of 30 minutes,) despite their providing a number to request assistance. You cannot text them. You cannot email them. They have, essentially, erected an electronic wall around themselves, which the paying customer cannot penetrate. However, they do provide numerous ways, through their website, for payments to be made. That speaks volumes about their priorities. Their apparent mantra: convince an HOA or CONDO to sign on the dotted line, scoop up hundreds of customers' monthly payments and, from that point forward, hide. read more

Blue Stream service has been extremely disappointing. We have four boosters in our 2,500 sq/ft home and pay extra for 1G service since both my husband and I work from home. Despite just having new boosters installed, our Wi-Fi speeds are now slower than before. Calls are dropping, and video conferences are constantly disrupted. Credit never was applied, so I had to spend an hour waiting on customer service and was sent to another department with another long wait. Your technician unlawfully took my home security equipment on the day of installation on 1/12/26. I have filed a complaint and an "escalated" ticket was created. However at this time, no one calls me and when I called no one can tell me where my equipment is. My new home has no home security since I moved in and I am very concerned. Over the past two years we have had more internet issues with Blue Stream than any other service. I understand when storms come things go down. But blue stream goes down on a clear sky day constantly. We have had to call to have people come out. They would send one, the tech would alert us a different tech would be needed to solve the issue. The different tech wouldn't come and we were told "the appointment was made but it was not scheduled". No one was rude or unprofessional when we spoke to them. But they didn't actually do their job and fix the internet. This doesn't get into the internet buffering during big games or high demand shows when using their "cable". Or the fact that fast forwarding through commercials would crash the whole show and you would have to start from the beginning. I rarely leave reviews like this but I highly recommend going another route. If our HOA didn't make us use blue stream as part of our dues I would go with any other option. read more

I put 1 star because I cant rate any lower. This has been the worst fucking internet provider i've ever used. I used spectrum for many years and hated them. I now want to go back to spectrum more than anything. From day 1, there were issues in my community and it has been at least 6 months. Constant outages, constant dropping, the equipment sucks. The current "fix" i am under is my phone will just get kicked off the network daily. I need to forget the network, and maybe be able to sign back in. This is worst cable and Internet provider I have ever had. I was with DirecTV for years and the service never went out. The service with Blue Stream is constantly out. I'm sitting here expecting to watch my favorite show and I can't because Blue Steam is having a service interruption. This never happened when I was with AT&T and DirecTv. I loved my DirecTV but it go so expensive that we had to cancel. We only went with Blue Stream because they gave us a good price on 1 gig of internet and the expanded cable. The more I look at it, I discovered that many of the channels they offer, you can get with a good digital antenna. I've had it with Blue Stream and I am switching to a different provider as soon as possible. Xfinity just installed real fiber optic cables. I think I will give them a try. They can't be any worse than Blue Stream. read more
