Commercials started shortly after , would have preferred the movie start at 115 with commercials before. Then to top it off , my kids have been collecting needohs. They have a cabinet at the register with squishy toys , I asked the cashier if any are actual needohs and she said yes the pizza and cake. We bought it and found out the hard way. They are FAKES. Do not buy if you want real needohs. Unfortunately I bought one for each of my kids at $6 each (if it seems like to good of a deal it probably is) Didn't get a receipt so not sure I could return them and we didn't open them until we were almost home. These are sticky and don't squish at all.

New movies were playing, tickets were only $9.75 (a true bargain in this economy). The seats were big, comfy, and reclining like they want you to fall asleep mid-film!!! There's even a little food tray, in case you wanted to grab some food. We are always pleased with the selection of movies. The cinemas are modest in size, which means there is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are comfortable and have little trays with cup holders. The Thrifty ice cream stand on the way out is a must stop before heading home. We first came here when were still tourists staying at the Avi or other Laughlin casinos. It was a cool reprieve from the heat during summer and a warm respite during winter. We often use Kids Quest down the hall for daycare so it was a one stop shop for us. While not as "plush" as the theaters at the Riverside with its swing away tables, the chairs were comfy and had pull up arm rests for snuggling or just having your little one rest his weary head on your lap. The prices are fair and the pretzels and popcorn are good. The drink prices are are bargain since the difference between a medium and large is only $0.50. It's pretty much standard fare as far as movie theaters go, meaning occasional sticky floors or loud kids or kicks on the back of your seat. The sound system is good, but on a couple of occasions, they could have turned it down just a notch. The screens are bright and the stairs are easily navigated with the lights out with LED light guides. There are ADA accessible seats up front. The heating and AC work well at keeping the temp just right. The Brenden Avi8 has become a comfortable friend for new releases that my kids look forward to coming to and it's taught my youngest one, who is 6, to sit still and watch a movie (he couldn't do that before). For a matinee or night out with the family, the Brenden Avi8 is our go to as the crowd is more chill than the Riverside and it's a lot closer to home. But the Thrifty ice cream on the way out doesn't hurt either...

I went on the Parker Tube Float for the first time in 2024. We camped nearby and had a nice cool…read moreplace to return to. It was fun. We brought our own raft and drinks with a cooler. We even brought 2 small dogs with us. We drove from our campsite to the parking lot that is at the end of the float. Although we had to park the furthest away from the loading area and carry all of our 'stuff' there, that was okay. We made it. The staff at the lines to get on the buses were volunteers and very nice. We got our t-shirts in advance. Cute. The lines were long. But, they moved quickly and they had a little shade. They provided ice cold bottled water in coolers set up along the lines, which was very nice. They loaded all of our stuff into the lower part of the bus, so only people with small personal items were on the bus. It was easy to pick up our 'stuff' at the unloading zone. It took about an hour from the time we arrived at the loading zone to actually hit the water. The river runs slow and you get pushed to the sides by the current. However, a big plus - they had guys on jet ski's that would come around and pull you back out into the current. We met some nice people, enjoyed the day in the sun (we had a cover over our floating island), and the nice cool river. My only recommendation is more space at the end of the float for exiting the river, or assistance getting people to move on out. The exit area was very crowded as people would get out and just stand right there to deflate their tubes, rafts, etc... and all their stuff.

We usually tie our tubes together and then float! It's so much fun and nothing compares to chilling in the water and on the float. You can also drink on the open water! It really is one of my favorite summer activities.

Only saw one person get a payout the entire weekend. The Mexican restaurant's line was insane, maybe should have been better prepared and open later for concert weekends. The coffee show employees were incredibly slow. Always a long line. Their process is so outdated. The good. : They have a Fatburger, the drinks were cheap, as in 2 slushy drinks with a quick pour of alcohol was $7 We opted for the kids pool as I didn't sleep at the night before I needed a nap. We tried the adult pool there was 1 million people in the pool on the deck alive band. Not what I was looking for so kid pull it was which worked out great. Happy that I had that option. They also serve those tall slushy drinks, which we got virgin one to take to the pool. I believe there was bowling in movies, but I didn't really see that portion of it and I think they have bingo. First off I'd like to say that we've been visiting this place since late 1980s and really never had…read moreany issues but we have noticed that through the years things have changed but not in a positive way. Or stay this time started off with a long wait to check in, and we noticed that there were supervisors or some type of management staff in the back that never came out unless called, other casinos management staff would assist on getting all the incoming guest assigned their rooms. Now, when it comes to the rooms, we had requested a non-smoking room and they told us at time of check-in that there was none available so they gave us what they could which was unsatisfactory. My wife needs her CPAP to sleep at night and last time we stayed at a smoking room. The smell of smoke contaminated her medical device so bad that she had to exchange it for a new one with this in mind she asked again after checking in and inspecting room if there was any non-smoking rooms for this medical reason and they told her no, so she insisted on speaking with management and after speaking with management , they found a non-smoking room on a different floor that they could provide us. What a miracle. The day after we checked out, my wife checked her bank account and noticed that there was a short on the security deposit, and when she called to questioned it, they told her that the maid service had claimed that we had opened up a water bottle that was in the room and that each water bottle is five dollars My wife and I know better than to use any non-complementary item left in the room because we know that the charges are extremely high and when she told the management staff that we did not use any water bottle or any non-complementary item she was told that if the maid service puts it in their report, then they have to charge no matter what, it all lands on the maid service and what they write down on the report. I suggest to all in the future, if you're staying at this location, videotape and take notes of everything that is in the room and the condition that it's in because it may be a tactic that they used to get a little extra money for the hotel. We are truly going to videotape and photograph all these items. Next time we stay if we decide to return and if we do get charged, we will immediately forward these photos of a before and after of the room's items. On the positive side I would like to thank the employees at the rewards desk for all their help. They are extremely nice and helpful group of people unfortunately that's the only plus I could say about this hotel at this time.
