My room had a beautiful view of the Colorado River, complete with a full patio and seating--such a nice bonus. The room itself was big, spacious, and very comfortable. Coffee and tea were provided, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily, which was fantastic. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. A couple of things to note: there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms--only available in the lobby--and the pool was closed for remodeling during my stay. There is a small but cozy exercise room, and parking was plentiful. Dining options were great. BlueWater Grill is perfect for casual snacks and breakfast (opens at 7am), while River Willow has a more upscale feel and is excellent for dinner with friends or family. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, plenty of parking, and even free RV parking that can accommodate large rigs. Cheers!

The theater was Very cold this time , which we have experienced in the past, so come prepared with blankets or jackets. Normally I drive across town for this theater because they offer an amazing Groupon deal. But I couldn't find it. Luckily we had the whole theater to ourselves for the opening day of super Mario. The popcorn was delicious ! And staff was friendly. I believe if you come later in the day, the Buffalo wild wings in the center of the movie theater would be open. I'm not sure how they would manage who are Buffalo wild wings guest and who are there for the movie since it is in the middle of the movie theater. When we were there there was no one was checking tickets to the theaters themselves , only the ladies at the concessions. But it was a nice addition/touch to the theater and gave it a more updated feel.

New movies were playing, tickets were only $9.75 (a true bargain in this economy). The seats were big, comfy, and reclining like they want you to fall asleep mid-film!!! We found the best seats that we could find but then these young kids couldn't be any older than maybe 12 kept coming in and out of the theater the whole entire time making so much noise, kicking our seats they were told by different people to be quiet to knock it off because they were being so disruptive no parents around at all. I don't understand how the theater is letting kids in without supervision to watch a movie. It was absolutely ridiculous. I would never go again, and I would never suggest somebody go there!

We even brought 2 small dogs with us. We drove from our campsite to the parking lot that is at the end of the float. Although we had to park the furthest away from the loading area and carry all of our 'stuff' there, that was okay. We made it. The staff at the lines to get on the buses were volunteers and very nice. We got our t-shirts in advance. Cute. The lines were long. But, they moved quickly and they had a little shade. They provided ice cold bottled water in coolers set up along the lines, which was very nice. They loaded all of our stuff into the lower part of the bus, so only people with small personal items were on the bus. It was easy to pick up our 'stuff' at the unloading zone. It took about an hour from the time we arrived at the loading zone to actually hit the water. The river runs slow and you get pushed to the sides by the current. However, a big plus - they had guys on jet ski's that would come around and pull you back out into the current. We met some nice people, enjoyed the day in the sun (we had a cover over our floating island), and the nice cool river. My only recommendation is more space at the end of the float for exiting the river, or assistance getting people to move on out. The exit area was very crowded as people would get out and just stand right there to deflate their tubes, rafts, etc... and all their stuff.

We usually tie our tubes together and then float! It's so much fun and nothing compares to chilling in the water and on the float. You can also drink on the open water! It really is one of my favorite summer activities.

Only saw one person get a payout the entire weekend. The Mexican restaurant's line was insane, maybe should have been better prepared and open later for concert weekends. The good. : They have a Fatburger, the drinks were cheap, as in 2 slushy drinks with a quick pour of alcohol was $7 We opted for the kids pool as I didn't sleep at the night before I needed a nap. We tried the adult pool there was 1 million people in the pool on the deck alive band. Not what I was looking for so kid pull it was which worked out great. Happy that I had that option. Our room had a serious moth issue during our stay. I called three separate times about the moths,…read morebut housekeeping only came the first time. When they did come, they sprayed the moths with something and vacuumed them up. Even after that, we were still waking up with moths in the bed, moths getting into our luggage, and moths all over the curtains, ceiling, and bathroom. Moths were also in the fridge when we initially arrived in the room. I understand that insects are a natural part of the environment and that seasonal bugs can happen, but the extent of the issue in our room was far beyond what we expected, especially when other guests staying with us at the hotel did not have the same problem in their rooms. Another concern for us was that the balcony door lock was not functioning properly while we were staying on the 21st floor with a toddler in the room. We reported this during the stay. I sent photos and contacted guest services afterward hoping the concerns would be taken more seriously, but was ultimately told there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed with the condition of the room and how the situation was handled. We used to love staying here but it has definitely gone downhill in the recent years.
