Returned today for an afternoon movie. Although prices are great , it was very warm inside the theater. The movie was supposed to start at 115 and at 115 we were sitting in a dark theater. Commercials started shortly after , would have preferred the movie start at 115 with commercials before. Then to top it off , my kids have been collecting needohs. They have a cabinet at the register with squishy toys , I asked the cashier if any are actual needohs and she said yes the pizza and cake. We bought it and found out the hard way. They are FAKES. Do not buy if you want real needohs. Unfortunately I bought one for each of my kids at $6 each (if it seems like to good of a deal it probably is) Didn't get a receipt so not sure I could return them and we didn't open them until we were almost home. Clean, quiet and friendly theatre. We like the theatre layout, the kids booster seats available in the hallways and the close by bathrooms.

Only good thing--- nobody was there, empty theater. Bad thing--- no employees. 1 person to sell tickets, concessions and manage the refills. Missed half my movie waiting for them to refill a popcorn. read more

Horrible clarity of the film. Most all the movie Cabrini was dark to the point that I didn't want to stay.

Such a delight to be in a movie theatre again! Seeing movies on the big screen has been one of my absolute favorite things to do. I was so excited to find that they were open and showing at least one really good movie since the pandemic has put a hold on movie releases. My partner had the room all to ourselves as we watched Pinocchio and munched on delicious popcorn. Thank you for the experience. I don't know when I'll be able to do this again, besides the drive-in. But those just aren't the same. :( read more

The theaters themselves are top notch, a bit too pricey but what isn't nowadays? What is the most important is the picture quality it self and it is horrible, so dark and out of focus that we won't be going there anymore after attending since they opened. I have talked with management many times about it and told that's the way they shoot movies nowadays ???? It's too bad they won't the fix the problem cause it's our favorite thing to do. My only issue with Star Cinema is after watching the new Avatar movie in 3D we were told to just toss the glasses in the trash? Why not recycle? Ive never seen that before. Several people collected some glasses to take them home to recycle!A number of people commented. You really need to fix this. Its just a matter of putting a recycle trash can at the theater exits. read more

I LOVE this theater. It's got ambiance and good food. Never have had trouble parking and a great location that's easy to get to. Employees have always been super helpful and so far everything I have eaten has been tasty and moderately priced. read more

So, what's not to like about having a brand new 10 screen state-of-the-art pure digital cinema in Lake Havasu City? Nothing, in fact, what's not to love about it? White Castle Burgers - loved 2 of those. $5. before 2pm matinee - loved that. Fresh Popped Orville Redenbacher - loved alot of that. Free Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasonings - hella loved that shizz. Inside ticket booths are nice when it's 111* outside. They serve beer and wine at this location, if almost say forgo the popcorn for a beer cause the popcorn is meh. The facilities here were clean. read more

It's kind of confusing as to which theater is playing what. Today our movie was in Theater 7 and the picture on the door was Avatar and we were seeing 80 for Brady. We questioned wether we were at the right theater but we were. Other then that it is a very nice place to see a movie and the matinee prices make seeing a movie affordable. Always great, clean and polite. But today they posted the wrong movie times. They didn't seem concerned over their guest who were all waiting for that 40-60 minuets. To bad, but customer service is failing all over. My hopes it doesn't happen here. Although the employees when walking to the theater to clean it were very obviously not in a hurry. After the cleaning of the theater and once inside, the screen comes on with previews. But no sound. I sought out an employee who was kind but relayed theater #9 has a problem with the sound. The sound according to the employee in #9 doesn't play with the previews and won't come on until the movie starts. How can you know this and not have it fixed with big summer movies coming out. Tough to give three stars but they are for the employees. The person in charge needs to step it up. read more

This is a great movie theater! It had been 3 years since my last visit. Some things have changed here, like no more White Castle burgers. =( And they no longer introduce the movie in person before it starts. But the place is still nice and clean and seems brand new still. The sound is GREAT!! Better and louder than the theaters I go to in OC. They also have $1 hot dogs all the time if you like a good wiener. and who doesn't?! read more

I'm used to Movies Havasu and boy was this different. It's like a real movie theater! In Havasu! UltraStar is a chain and I'm glad it found its way to Havasu. It's newer and much nicer than the old theater. The only downside is the location. I hate driving out to the mall. (It always seems deserted!) However, the actual theaters are really nice. Rather large, plush seats and the screens are decently sized. Definitely as good as it gets in Havasu! read more

Experience was not that great. Went to watch Toy Story 4 with the fam. Sat down and watched the trailers and after that the movie started. Absolutely no pictures just sound for at least the first 3-5 minutes. Finally another concerned customer got up and informed staff. By that time I was over it. They didn't apologize or start the movie over. On an upside it was clean and comfortable seating. read more

This place out-does the old movie theaters in Havasu. But compared to other normal cities, it is just par. Havasu is still a secluded area that has not developed into a real city, so this theater is a real improvement, but it's not the best. I would recommend it though, over the other theatre. oh but p.s.- the older theater, Movies Havasu, does free popcorn on Tuesday nights. read more

Very nice place, especially for Havasu. Last time I went was on Mother's Day, she wanted to see Pain & Gain (which ended up being great), and there was an employee that was handing out single roses to mothers. Thought that was extremely cool. A little expensive, then again, what movie theater isn't? Great staff, parking is pretty decent, outside is nice, and you can walk around outside in the plaza after your movie. Popcorn is great, though I wouldn't recommend the pretzels, kinda have that frozen taste to them. read more

Clean and very nice people working inside. Admission price are nor bad. Selections on the snack bar is alot.

We went to go see wind river and the power goes out which is understandably not the movie theaters fault and then when it comes back on they reboot their system and skip forward 30 minutes in the movie. We go talk to the manager and ask her to rewind it and she says she will then we ask her when and she says very unprofessionally "I'm busy!" So unimpressed. Visited from out of town, arrived at 10:20am for an 11am movie. The bathrooms were disgusting and the trash cans were filled and spilling over. The bathroom stalls were out of toilet paper and there was trash on the floor. As I exited, I found two employees. I went to express my concerns only to find them openly complaining about management and talking about how they hate their jobs. One employee stated she was quitting today because the work environment is unreasonable. The other was sitting in the hallway area at a small bistro table eating popcorn and drinking a drink soda. Needless to say I did not share my concerns as there is no sense in sharing with employers that intent to quit today. read more

I'm rating this movie theatre a 2. We asked the lady if we could get layered popcorn and we did not the popcorn was stale and dry. My boyfriend sat in gum in one of the seats. The theatre was so HOT that everyone was complaining to the workers and sweating. When we came out of our movie a woman complained to the front desk and the guy laughed in her face and said "sorry" very sarcastically. So the costumer service was absolutely terrible. I wouldn't recommend this theatre in Havasu. read more

I've been coming to this theater frequently since it opened and have always enjoyed my experience. Yes, it has changed hands recently but in my opinion has made improvements to an already great business including adding several new menu items, like ice creams! Don't waste your time. Get to theater and movie times listed online are not correct. Staff was rude and said that movie listings online are not their problem. Lobby empty except for staff standing around eating pizza. Girl at the counter wasn't even sure of movie times and had to check 2 different lists and still couldn't figure it out. We used to love coming here but it has really lost its appeal. We will stick with Brenden Theaters at AVI. read more

This place was great for havasu, it tops movies havasu stinky feet theater. Everytime i walk into the theater i am always greeted with a smile the staff is always so friendly. Last time my boyfriend and I were there, the movie broke and a manager came in and told us to wait one minute and it would be back up and running. Within seconds, it was back up i guess digital is the way to go now. I highly recommend this theater to everyone. I love how you walk into the box office, and not up to a window, especially out in a hot town like this. read more

This is the only "modern" place to see a movie in Havasu. Because it's only a year or so old, everything is new, clean and updated. Often I go to a movie here and there are only maybe 3 other people. Kind of nice having a relaxing uncrowded movie theater (i.e., less likely to have someone sitting behind you kicking your chair). It's outside of town in the same area as the new Walmart, but for a small town, a 12-minute drive won't kill anyone. :-) read more

My favorite movie theatre I have ever been too. This place has a great staff, great quality equipment, and the best prices. The price is the best part, at 6 dollars matinees, you cannot go wrong. They are also one of the only places in Lake Havasu that has a military discount. read more

Movies are supposed to be enjoyed with nice stereo sound,the volume is about as low as watching TV at grandma's house I've had to leave My theater to go up and tell them to turn it up! yeah the base loud but when you want to hear the dialogue you can barely hear it. It's terrible when I can hear somebody three rows in front of me eating popcorn and not the movie !!!!! Another time I had to go up and tell them to position the projection so hit the screen correctly the top of the heads where cut off,,,, and I end up missing parts of my movie you can't use your free movie award... Great movie theater! The staff is super friendly we chat about movies coming up every time I visit. They have a popcorn card that gets me free popcorn all year for less than $25 bucks. i do wish they would sell ice cream but other than that great place. read more

Our family went to see How to train your dragon 2. Art Gonzalez was super friendly and helped us get our tokens. My children were so thankful. The movie bathrooms were clean and so was the theater. It was a nice way to spend an evening with the kids and the staff was outstanding!!!! read more
