This hotel casually decided to flex by having its own movie theater. Naturally, we had to take adva of the great deal!! New movies were playing, tickets were only $9.75 (a true bargain in this economy). The seats were big, comfy, and reclining like they want you to fall asleep mid-film!!! There's even a little food tray, in case you wanted to grab some food. It's a legit movie theater hiding inside a hotel, and yes, we're absolutely coming back for round two next time we're in the area!!! read more

The Riverside multi cinema, located in Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort, is our favorite place to watch movies. The refreshments are always good and at reasonable prices. We are always pleased with the selection of movies. The cinemas are modest in size, which means there is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are comfortable and have little trays with cup holders. Many movie cinemas really pump up the volume these days, but that is not a problem at Riverside Cinema. The audio volume is just right. The ticket prices are inexpensive as well. Movie price was affordable and the seats inside were fantastic. Very comfortable reclining chairs. The food was reasonably priced as well. Definitely will return in the future. The only sucky part is that if the person in front of you doesn't recline their chair you might not get to see a tiny part of the screen but regardless I think it was okay for what I paid for. This was a pleasant surprise on our 4 day mini vacation to celebrate my son's 9th birthday. The seats were oh so comfy and the individual tray tables were a nice plus. I had a place for my drinks, nachos and even my phone! The concession staff was really friendly. The food was so-so or typical movie food. I got thr hot dog, nachos and a large drink. The prices, though, when compared to LA prices, were excellent, both for the tickets and also the food. The theaters, itself, were clean and the temp was good. The sound was a little loud and the right rear surround speakers weren't as loud as the left. The movie labeling over the theater doors were confusing. They rotate movie theaters for the movies. So, if you get there early, your ticket may indicate theater that is labeled for another movie, but the closer it gets to the actual show time, the LED display changes. My only gripe is the crowd. When we got out with my little kids around 9:15 pm, the teenage crowd hanging around the exit and near the arcade was getting pretty rough. There was some pushing and shoving and no security in sight. On our way out, one of these punks flicked at the back of my son's head, but I was only told about it after we got outside. No doubt, it was for that kid to feel superior to a little 9 year old... SMH. read more

DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE! This was the first time we have been to the movies in over a year. We didn't know what to expect at this movie theatre located inside the Riverside Casino. We were pleasantly surprised at every turn. Admission was only $7.00. There is a full sized concession stand with reasonable prices. All of the seats are leather recliners that are extremely comfortable. The theatre is very well-maintained and clean. The movie picture and sound are excellent quality. All of the employees were friendly and welcoming. The movie theatre can be a bit hard to find. It is located in the North Tower. The easiest way to get there is to take the escalator from the first floor to the 2nd floor. The movie theatre seems quite popular, and there is no assigned seating. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time, which we will probably do next time. The movie we wanted to see was sold out for the 1pm show, so we returned at 4p. We had a fabulous time. read more

Seats are lounge recliners and comfortable. The problem is with the theater slope and the high back chairs. I had children ranging from 5 to 9 years old. If the person in front of us wasn't reclining, the chair back is too high for the child to see the screen. For adults it really isn't that big of a problem. read more

I love that this river side casino has so many options of things besides gambling to do. You could sit and watch the river go by (we did a bit of that), go bowling (seems a lot of tips on here seem to think this is the bowling alley), gamble, eat, dance, or go to the movies even. We decided, as we always do when visiting, to go to the movies a few times while here this time. We saw a dog movie and The Upside. Both were great. The ticket booth is walk up and down a ramp from the theater... prices are reasonable. Go during a matinee and it's more affordable. Used to be the last show of the night was reasonable too, but that changed a year ago apparently. Prices aren't crazy anyway, I just prefer cheaper. Concessions are normal... although you can get full alcohol. It's in a casino so no shock there... drinks, popcorn, nachos, chili, hot dogs, candy... fountain drinks are self serve. The bathrooms are clean. I liked that. The employees were nice.... both auditoriums we visited were in great condition. Sound worked great... screen was great. Love the old style of the theater overall and ive never seen it packed in here... you should visit when you visit! read more

Oh my goodness this movie theater is amazing! First off they serve alcohol lol. I used to attend this theater complex all the time, along with friends of mine. We would always go to the first matinee, beginning at around 10 a.m. As a general rule, it's what Seniors do, especially here, and most notably in the Summer here, due to the extreme heat. Some of us simply can't be out after noon or so, due to the heat. When the pandemic hit in 2020, all the theaters shut down. When they eventually re-opened, this complex did too, but minus the early matinees. And nothing has since changed; they still don't open until 1 p.m. or later. This practice effectively eliminates 50% or more of their audience, comprised of Seniors. WHY? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out! Put the early showings back onto the schedule, the audience numbers will climb again, and the revenues will increase. If they don't, audience numbers will continue to be low, revenues will decrease, and they will eventually go out of business. The theater complex in the nearby Laughlin Mall still opens early, at 9:30 a.m.; why can't this one?? They're cutting their own throats, but are apparently too stupid to realize why. Get with the program and FIX THIS PROBLEM!!! read more

The Riverside Cinema is one of my favorite movie theaters, for several reasons. The six theaters are intimate but big enough for many moviegoers. The THX and Dolby sound systems are great, with several wall-mounted speakers in each theater. Seats have cup holders, rock a bit, and are quite comfortable. The ticket price is always low, and on certain days tickets for first and last shows are only $6.00. The lobby, individual theaters, and restrooms are always clean. And, it has the best snack bar I have experienced at a movie theater, offering everything from a full bar to hot dogs, nachos, buttered popcorn, whole kosher dill pickles, several ice cream treats, and a huge array of candy, including chocolate covered almonds and giant Hershey bars. Real D)) 3D movie presentations are now widely available. And the place goes all out in decorating the lobby areas with inventive and colorful displays for holidays like Halloween and Christmas. Diane and I are happy customers whenever we are residing in Laughlin each month. read more

FIND ANOTHER THEATER!! Every time we've gone to this theater, we've had to wait in a ridiculously long line, both for tickets and for the concession stand due to the fact that they only have one person working at the ticket window and one person working the concession stand. Patrons constantly complain about being late for their movie as a result of lack of staff, but they refuse to make any changes. This has happened EVERY time we've gone here. They refuse to properly staff and know it is making customers late for their movie thus making a BAD movie experience. Finally learned our lesson and will NEVER attend nor spend our money at this theater again!! read more

Have been several times one of which witnessed a medical emergency that took responders almost 20 minutes to get to. From what I understand Emergency is based in the basement...yikes! The staff is usually friendly and the movie chairs are comfortable. Some need repair. Bathrooms are generally clean.... and snack bar is fully stocked with all the goodies you need. Hopefully you brought your bankroll because it is a pricey venture, although you spend far less here than on the casino floor so I guess it's a wash. I have been in here fully packed and with only a few. Great sound system. Clear picture. A good movie stop if your this side of the river. I come often and will ofcoarse come again. Usually if your early you will wait in line. Or if your very early there are some fun arcade games by the box office including the photo studio booth. My fav! While in Laughlin, there isn't much in the way of entertainment for us since we don't gamble, so we ended up at the bowling alley. They are cash only, which was surprising and a bit inconvenient. Luckily, I had cash on me. The service was basic, don't expect many frills here. It was difficult to find a ball that was the right weight that I could actually fit my fingers into. While playing, we noticed that the sensors on the lane and the scoring were off. On more than a few occasions did my fella receive a strike when he only knocked down 8 or 9 pins and once when I knocked down 9 it said I missed them all. These issues didn't hinder us from having a good time, but just be aware that this is an older bowling alley and it definitely shows its age. read more

Cute and quaint theatre. Extremely small but I Imagine the locals are use to this? Coming from LA we're use to everything big. I would have never thought the ticket price was going to be higher than what I usually pay at my home theater($5.50). The price here was ($7.50) per person with no senior discount. The theatre is located upstairs inside the casino and once upstairs be prepared to walk a bit. I wasn't prepared for this as my mom is 85yrs old and walks with a cane. I'm also use to 10-20min previews before each film. I was told by the ticket agent there was going to be a 10min. preview. I was a bit peeved to find this wasn't correct. I would have bypassed the snack bar had I known this theatre had no movie previews. Therefore I missed about 10 minutes of the movie :(. read more

The movie times are ALWAYS too close together, causing a big line getting in or purchasing refreshments and just general confusion. My wife wanted to set up a "just for fun bowling event" for a semi-annual meeting of retirees in Laughlin. Bill Street held her had the entire way, making the process incredibly easy. This man has customer service skills exceeding that of a Nordstrom's Cosmetics salesperson. He is not quite as cute, but what an amazing man. So friendly, so helpful....he REALLY made this easy on my wife. Thank you Bill! We came in a few hours early to make sure everything was in place and in the process I got a bowling ball package at the Pro Shop.... cool looking ball, awesome shoes and a very nice bag for less than $125. Did I mention that they had my size shoes???? 15's are impossible to find. He had 3 pair. Incredible. Ball was drilled perfectly and engraved with my name in less than 45 minutes...during which time we sat in the bowling alley bar, playing video keno, winning $18.75 on the first $.25 bet...followed by 4 free beers and a great view of football on the TV screens. DAMN...I like this place! (It's probably a 4 star venue, but the free beer, excellent bartender, incredible assistance of Bill Street to my wife and hitting 5 out of 6 on the first push of the KENO machine gets it an extra star) read more

Just saw a movie here. The place is fine, remember it's Laughlin. The theater size was adequate and there was not a crowd inside so it was pleasant. The concessions have all you need including a bar for drinks to take in to the theater. Tickets were $9 and $7 for the matinee. If you want to beat the heat for a bit and catch a movie while staying on the river this place works great. Oh and don't forget the water taxis that go from hotel to hotel. read more
