This resort is a nice, comfortable, casino and hotel. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and cool. The AC units are a bit loud, but they work well. The rooms a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. The TV's don't get many channels. The reason I have it 4 stars is the convenience to river areas and the fact this is the only place around, and it could be a whole lot worse, and still get patrons. Stayed at BlueWater Resort in Parker, Arizona for the Quartzsite RV Show since nearby hotels were fully booked. It's about a 45-minute drive to the show, which was manageable. My room had a beautiful view of the Colorado River, complete with a full patio and seating--such a nice bonus. The room itself was big, spacious, and very comfortable. Coffee and tea were provided, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily, which was fantastic. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. A couple of things to note: there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms--only available in the lobby--and the pool was closed for remodeling during my stay. There is a small but cozy exercise room, and parking was plentiful. Dining options were great. BlueWater Grill is perfect for casual snacks and breakfast (opens at 7am), while River Willow has a more upscale feel and is excellent for dinner with friends or family. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, plenty of parking, and even free RV parking that can accommodate large rigs. Cheers! read more

I really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. It was my family's first time here and we enjoyed our visit. Our room was located on the fifth floor and the views were beautiful! Although our AC wasn't working and we had to call the front desk - I am not removing any stars from my review - because maintenance arrived so quickly and fixed the issue immediately. This did not ruin our experience because we spent the majority of our time in the refreshing pools. They have shallow pools for little ones, a deeper pool for older individuals & they also have a relaxing jacuzzi. Loved it! We also visited the movie theater next door. It's a family friendly resort and my children did enjoy their stay as well. There is plenty to do for both adults & children. Great place to relax and enjoy some family time. read more

10/24/25 - 10/15/25 Bluewater Resort & Casino hosted a large gathering room inside the casino for the Posten Pilgrimage. Our Japanese relatives both the first generation or Issei (grandparents) & second generation Nisei (my mom & her siblings) were incarcerated in Posten AZ along w/almost 18,000 other Japanese for no other reason than being Japanese. Under Executive order 9066 approximately 120,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated in 10 major camps. Since all the Nisei & Issei generation have passed away my cousin organized a Pilgrimage to Posten where they were incarcerated. We had an excellent excellent turn out for the sansei or 3rd generation Japanese/Anericans w/myself my wife & all 4 of my siblings, cousin that organized the trip/reunion had 4 of 5 turnout, my other cousin had 4 of 4, & the last family group had 3 of 3). In addition many of the Yonsei (fourth generation) turned out for this event. In all there were 39 of us that turned out to learn about what our ancestors went through during World War II. I've always been aware of the camps but to see & to learn so much more that by attending this event was awesome. This coupled with/a family reunion was something that was really special event because we haven't seen each other in 20 years ever since the nisei generation passed away. Bluewater Casino has a large meeting/conference room where they had exhibits set up of items. The internment camp in Posten AZ is in the dessert on Indian land. This area around Parker AZ is also home to four Indian tribes. They are the Mohave, Chemehuevi, Hopi, and Navajo. These tribes are federally recognized as the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) and share the Colorado River Indian Reservation, which is primarily located in Parker, Arizona. The four Indian tribes in Parker, Arizona, are the Mohave, Chemehuevi, Hopi, and Navajo. Both the Japanese & Indians had put into situations that were not of their choosing but being resourceful they were able to exist w/mutually beneficial interaction and interdependence that strengthens society as a whole. read more

The apperance is amazing but TV sucks. 80% of the channels don't even work and the ones that you would think that work don't. Some staff are cool but most don't even care about you. The pool area is nasty, there are stains all over the pool and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The water slide looks fun but doesn't look like it's been functioning for a while either. The only good things they have for them is the valet, restaurants, and docks. But the r e are more cons than pros. read more

Used to think this was a great option but no longer. Pile of dog poop on the sidewalk right in front of rooms when we arrived; remained there for four days. House keeping had 8 hours to clean the room but was a no-show; when called they said they ran out of king size sheets and regular coffee Kcups. Supervisor and cashier interaction at the register completely ignoring customers in line. When I asked the second cashier who walked up to ring us up she stated, "everyone had to stand in line." AC unit was so loud and unable to turn down there was very little sleep each night. Menu items yielded, "I'm sorry we're out of that." And the big indoor water slide, always a crowd favorite, was closed indefinitely for maintenance. This was never mentioned on the website. Any one of these could be overlooked in isolation. But put together shows a hotel in severe decline from customer service to facility care. Would not recommend to friends in the future. BTW every slot machine and black jack table was in peak working order. Shows the priorities. read more

Casino Review Only; We were stoked last week to visit casino in town close to where we will be relocating- until a local guy who couldn't hold his liquor tried to take his loss frustration out on someone who dared to play on "his machine" This dude not only flew out of food court & tried to start an altercation with my guy for "getting on his machine" he also got in my 60+ year old face, threatening & screaming "I'll beat your fu€kin as$ too!". The worst part? He pulled this in FRONT OF SECURITY & staff whose only response was "Yea we know him & he gets like this". Seriously!? That's how you handle these things?! People claim slot machines as their own & guests (absolutely familiar with civilized casino rules & behavior) try to use machine when there is *clearly no one anywhere near it* get threatened with violence & that's just how it works here?? We travel for work all over the country & spend a good bit of time & money at many casinos. Never have we seen or experienced anything like this. In any other place-literally anywhere-this miscreant would have been dealt with swiftly by casino staff/security. read more

Terrible DO Not book reservations there. The hotel is dirty, air conditioning did not work. Though they had maintenance try to fix it twice. Finally at 10:30 p.m. on the 2nd day I was finally moved to another room. Also, upon arriving the bathroom had long black hair on the wall of the shower. Had to physicially go downstairs (because front desk would not answer the phone) to have them clean the room. Went down at 9:30 a.m. yet upon retruning to my room at 7:30 pm nothing had been cleaned. Apparently you have to remove your personal pillow in order for them to make the beds with clean sheets. Whick nobody mentioned at the time of checkin. Adding a daily cleaning fee when the room isn't even cleaned is ridiculous. A resort fee for what.. waterslide not available, no WIFI and only 4 TV channels. When asked to speak to the manager was told they were unavailable each day. Then given a "fake" genera managerl name. Martin, Jesus or Jr.. Filthy and very very dissatisfied !!! Front desk "she's not allowed to do that" calling my Director. 7. Director said no sorry you'll have to pay. Asked to speak with her, desk girl said "she's not here". 8. We can't comp you even though you have offer and the host approved it, you MUST PAY. 10. She gave us a discount and said she will speak with marketing in the AM. No comp! Rooms dirty and rusted. I am giving 5 stars for the maintenance crew and the servers in the restaurant and bar, they were awesome!! However, we checked in on a Thursday for a 2 night stay had booked a Jr Suite. We got to our room and just without noticing our surroundings loaded the fridge, took showers, getting ready to go out. I then realized, wait, this is a regular room. Went down to the lobby and he said, I'm sorry there is another reservation with a similar name, took our current keys gave use new keys and said housekeeping will meet you to open the door where our stuff is. The new room was down the hall so we went in to check it out turn the air down 118 degrees in AZ - the air was not working. Maintenance was there immediately and fixed the problem. Went out, came back, all good. 1 am woke up in a stifling 100 degree room, yes the air was out again. Called down to the front desk and he says sorry we have no other rooms and you will have to wait until 8 am for maintenance. We could not get comfortable, tried to lay outside on the lounge chairs, ice water towels, and still no sleep. Went to the front desk at 8 am, explained the situation and said we are checking out since you have no other rooms we cannot risk the air going out again. They said we will send up maintenance to fix the air again so we can pack and shower. That happened. I asked the maintenance guy if they have people during the night to fix these things and he said yes. So, the person upfront opted to let us stay in that room without help. They did refund me for the second night, however, they have not refunded us for the night of heat hell and I believe they should, we all book hotel rooms so we can "sleep" there, and since that didn't happen they money should be refunded in my opinion. The guy who initially checked us in was helpful as much as he could be, the manager and the housekeeping, I assume manager, were rude and unaccommodating!! read more

Stayed at BlueWater Resort and Casino this past weekend. Do not recommend! Room was dirty! Blood stained sheets were removed at our request but they said they had no other fitted sheets and handed us 3 top sheets. The sink was backed up with sewage which made the entire room smell rank. There was no hot water, the mini fridge did not function, and there were greasy smears on the patio doors. When we first checked in at 5:30p there were piles and bags of trash outside of our door that remained there through the evening. There were a pair of dirty discarded shoes and nasty socks left on the railing for the duration of our 2 night stay. We went to the BlueWater Grille for dinner and were disappointed that the veggies were frozen not fresh, rice was cold, the chicken was hot and decent. When I googled the Resort and Casino it claimed that drinks were comped with casino play, not the case. I attempted to communicate my concerns but was told a manager was not on shift and was asked to leave my name and number for them to call me Sunday around noon when they would be in. They never reached out. I called again on Monday, the lady who answered the phone said she would email the manager, Anthony, with my concerns so he would see it first thing. Again I did not receive a call. I left a message through their Website again to no avail. I do not recommend based on the lack of customer service or care. The valet and busboys were great! The front desk staff also kind and polite. Just gross, I didn't dare attempt to the pool and slides. read more

Terrible service went to the steak house to eat dinner there was a child with a burger across from me and i didn't see it on the menu when i asked my waiter if they had any she just told me No so i got a salad. My girlfriend made a comment "what a kid can have a burger but not you" as the waiter was taking her parents order right after i decided i didn't want the salad just because i didn't wanna give the restaurant any service. our waiter then goes "wow do you really want the cheeseburger" with the most snotty tone ever it's okay tho because she was a fat ugly troll so life is already hard enough for her. Been coming here for 15 yrs it was good at first but has since went down the drain. Their service used to be excellent now is non-existent. Their bellhops are still very professional, hardworking and consistent in the heat they work in, the rooms are still clean as they were when we first started going there but not much upgrades have been made, looks like they upgraded the TV's but you only get like 10 channels. they expect you to check out by 11am and when their check in is usually at 3pm they didn't have our room available till 5 pm so when we dropped off our luggage to the bellhops we left all our swimwear and clothes with them so just stood at the riverfront outside the water in the heat. The waterslide isn't operational because the foundation to the beams have corroded so it was closed (has been closed for a year now...) supposedly their not thinking of repairing it so that's a big deal for our family reunions where all our families have children so there's nothing else for them to do. They used to have a DJ at the Cantina late nights so we'd all collect their and party. Now it's empty at nights so the only other option is too go up to the casino and drink. We also would all huddle up at one room and drink outside but now they have a problem with that. They have also added a sign telling people they aren't allowed to BBQ outside their room in the courtyard so that also ruined it. We could cook, drink, feed the kids and chat it up but now that's gone. The snack bar and buffet area closes at 10pm so if you're looking for a late night meal you're kinda screwed. They used to have a wakeboarding area but didn't get as much traction so they took it down. The Boat slips used to cost 20 a night and now they've up'd it too 30$ a night. The river front closes at 8pm so they'll kick you out and you have to go to your room. The movie theater is pretty cool, the prices are movie theater prices so there's that's, they also close it early so don't expect to see a movie at 10pm pretty sure last movie times are around 7-8pm they've had a mini golf course that they never revamped so they don't use it. they have a arcade that used to be operational but now i think it's closed for good. So not much for kids to do now but sit in their rooms because security will question why they're on the casino floor. The riverfront used to be a main hub for boats to come to the cantina and grab a mixed drink but they've now added buoys so you can only fit about 2 boats, if the spots are taken up you have to park the boat a 1/4 mile down the river to enjoy a drink. Our families all own waverunners and boats so it kinda defeats the purpose of bringing them when we can't even park them near our cabana or the family tents. Just get rid of the buoys, they collect way to much weeds and get stuck in the propellers and intakes of the watercraft's and you can barely relax in the water without them getting stuck on your skin. Also WiFi isn't available in the rooms, only on the Casino floor. Place used to be a great weekend getaway but I would honestly look for another place to stay, I would say it's a good place to stay for a night but they have a 2 day minimum so you're kinda stuck. When you have an issue they will automatically point blame towards the reservation committee and say they can't do anything about it. read more

They also had nothing to clean the hands except for the bathroom across the casino. It seems like the advantage is the short distance, but the thrill is in the minus. I will never stay here again. Staff were rude when we pulled in to check in. We got up to our room the bathroom sink was dirty along with the entire room! You can tell they cut corners for sure! Room did not look vacuumed, we had a web and spider that was killed hanging from the ceiling so that had been there for a while. I'm pretty conflicted about casinos on reservations really. On the one hand, I get that the revenues generated from casinos further help out enrolled tribal members but on the other hand, I absolutely cannot understand gambling and casinos. I always find casinos eerily freaky as there are no windows and you cannot see what is going on outside. It's like a place you go which reminds me of prison, only voluntary. I came here because the start of the Poston Pilgrimage was centrally located here. The evening dinner and keynote speaker was also happening in their show room. The casino was clean and staff were helpful. Bathrooms were working and nothing really to complain about. Showroom was fine for the purposes needed, spacious and could hold at least 100 - 200 people. Dinner was served here and it was OK. BBQ chicken leg, sad looking salad, beans, corn, some fruit. Dessert were carrot cake, chocolate and lemon cakes. Canned sodas, water and ice tea available for drinks. I don't think I'll be back here unless another event brings me back. I'm not much a casino fan, but understand that this helps with disenfranchised peoples' livelihood, so I guess I can live with it. read more

I love staying in Bluewater. The room was clean and spacious, it overlooked the river. During my stay, I peaked outside the window while a young lady was getting a proposal. I enjoyed people watching from the balcony. I had breakfast at Bluewater Grill. I was surprised at the amount of food I received for the affordable price. I ordered a vegetarian omelette with country fried potatoes and rye toast. I even gambled and won $200! I can't want to come back. read more

The service is horrible. It took 1.5 hours for our room to be ready and then an additional hour for our luggage. The people working at the registration desk were not customer service oriented. There was no wifi in the rooms, only on the casino floor. My husband ordered a burger from the Grille and said McDonalds was better. **AVOID ROOM 1047 on the Marina Level** or any room that sits under a suite. It has been awhile since I stayed at the Bluewater Resort, but the weekday prices were great and the proximity to the marina with boat slips was nice. We stayed on the Marina level to avoid hauling stuff up and down the slow elevators to get to the boat, and when you look closely around the room you can see there has been extensive water damage (paint peeling and bottom of doors have rot/warping/cracking) and they don't seem to clean as thoroughly behind guests with dogs (extra sandy and fur, even with the "cleaned standard" sheet the housekeeper signs). The biggest warning to future guests is to avoid Marina Level rooms if there is even a chance of a rain storm. We had an unexpected thunderstorm hit, and there was leaking throughout the building--but nothing like on the Marina Level. We had other family members staying on the Marina Level as well, and the leaking doors were manageable with towels and nice staff to help clean up the next day. We were in room 1047. A whole different story. It rained harder in our room through the canned lights and ceiling drywall (the joint seam) than it was in the exterior hallway. The bathroom flooded, then the room flooded and our bed was soaked. We were moved to another room, but the AC there didn't work and the doors/entry were still leaking. See videos attached (**edit: Google not posting videos for some reason**); videos are from about 15 minutes after the storm started, it lasted almost 3 hrs and by the time we moved out of our room there was sitting water (1-2") on the floor. In the new room, the AC was set to 69* before we arrived and the room stayed at 77* until the next day because maintenance is only there from 6 am to 11 pm. I was told we should have asked for another room that night, but it was 2 am and I was wet and tired. I didn't expect so many issues since this is a resort not an RV park or campground. You can tell the overall building infrastructure--resort, casino, pool, restaurants, etc--is aging and nothing proactive is being done to prevent major issues. Which was the excuse from every staff member we talked to about the issues we experienced. When we asked for one-night to be comped for being woken up by rain in the room and a non-working AC in the new room, we were informed that weather events were not a viable reason for a discount but the AC issue would be reviewed. We never received a call or email about the decision and no money has been adjusted. Oh, and there is no WiFi anywhere but on the casino floor and zero cell reception. Signs say they are "working on upgrades." Looking at other reviews, this has been the case for a few years. read more

NO stars if it was an option! I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so awful I feel compelled to warn others. The room was already questionable when we arrived -- dingy, stale air, and a general feeling of neglect. But what really pushed it over the edge was the so-called "room service." We asked for the room to be cleaned, and all they did was restock the toilet paper. No fresh towels, no trash taken out, no bed made, not even a quick vacuum to revamp the place. Just toilet paper. Unbelievable. To make matters worse, I ended up with food poisoning after eating at the hotel restaurant. I spent the night sick and miserable -- definitely not how I planned to spend my trip. When we tried to address the issues with the front desk, we were met with terrible customer service. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in resolving anything. No apology, no compensation -- just attitude and indifference. Also- no wifi (only on casino floor and poor service everywhere else), no free drinks, no room service, no waterslide (would've been great for the kiddos!) , poor gym. read more

I'm surprised their rating is so low! This is the only casino in Parker, Az, and we LOVE it!!! A fun thing to do on a night when you're in town, they have one large room of slots, and a few tables down the middle... drinks are a good price, and their cafe has delicious food! Weekend nights they often have live bands playing in the bar, too! If you have kids there is a huge water slide right in the middle of the casino (it makes the casino smell a little like chlorine, but you're at the river and on vacay, so who cares!) There are only a few things to do in this town at night, so if you're in town for a few days you have to spend a night at the casino! read more

At check in - signs were posted at the front desk saying WiFi did not work in the rooms. The huge indoor pool was closed and there was no notification of it when booking the room- something I did not need to use but would have been nice to know upfront. The ice machines did not work- I asked the bartender for ice but she told me her ice machine didn't work either- We ate dinner at the grill - was so-so at best and some people in our party asked for water- but the waitress brought bottles of water. Was there something going on with the water supply that they were not telling us? The staff was friendly but cannot see ever going there again especially at a nightly rate of $189... read more

If you are going to charge a resort fee then have the amenities available. We're there Jan 20-22 no pool. No wifi or any connectivity at all in the rooms. When questioned I was told that management refuses to remove fee. Will not return and we have stayed there off and on for 8 years. read more

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because it was on the water and we used a boat slip. Other than that, it's not worth staying here. We went for Fathers Day weekend with some friends. Went to check in and nobody was there to help. Had to ring the bell, then the lady acted like we were bothering her. Got our room, went out to the car to get our items. I had a sparkling water in a coozie and was stopped to see what I had, twice. No Wi-Fi was terrible, I couldn't use my phone the whole time we were here, not once did they say they didn't have Wi-Fi when we booked this stay. Our friend got a beer from the cantina, went into the casino and was immediately stopped and they made him toss it, even though we bought it from their place. I got stopped again for my water. The gym wasn't open, closed indefinitely. People were partying all night in the walkway next to our room, kids screaming at 1am. Water leaked from the floor above us onto our doorway. Ate at the Steakhouse, the staff was super nice but food was eh. No gluten free options anywhere so I ate salads the whole time. Took forever to get drinks from the bar even though it was not busy. Got stopped again for my sparkling water, by a server then security. Never been harassed so much at a casino before, just for a can of sparkling water! I think I'll stay elsewhere from now on, not worth the prices they charge. read more

My wife and I stayed here for a week recently. We rented a slip for our boat. The customer service here is hit and miss. The bell guy went on break went we checked in and we had to wait outside in the 110 degree heat as they made us unload our truck outside of the overhang due to our boat hooked to the truck. After 15 minutes he showed up and loaded up our stuff. He said he would be at our room in a few minutes. It took him 45 minutes! We got to our first floor room and found it clean, other than a few moths on the walls. The decor is outdated as is much of the resort. Nice view of the river. I went to turn the in room fridge to a cold setting only to find out there isn't a setting. You get what you get and it didn't get very cold. The patio was dirty, melted popsicle all over that was super sticky and drew flies and bees. Cigarette butts everywhere. We ate at the restaurant inside, not the steak house. We had to wait over an hour just to be seated because they were short staffed. I ordered the fish sandwich. Terrible! Fish was way over cooked and the only thing I could taste was the tartar sauce. I only had a few bites. It came with fries, they were perfect. They only good thing about this place was our waitress. She was very nice and apologetic. Place was very dirty. We had a bad experience at the little breakfast/lunch spot that is open limited hours. We went one morning for a breakfast sandwich. The kid working knows nothing about customer service and it took 40 minutes to get two breakfast sandwiches. They were delicious and worth the price. The casino floor was dirty every time we visited. Typical tribal casino with limited table games. Decent slot selection but this is a small casino. The little walk up cafe was overwhelmed with customers so it took a while to get a little snack. This hotel casino is lucky its on the water and has a casino because there's honestly no reason to stay here besides those factors. The service at every desk and restaurant is terrible. The restaurant food is below average at best and the service is so slow. The deli can't even keep pizza in stock and the workers are rude. The wifi only works while you're on the casino floor not anywhere else and property. My favorite part was that the tv in the room "lost signal" at a rate of about 3 times an hour on average. When i called the serviceman he was very quick and provided the best fix he could which was to turn the channel down then up until the signal returned. read more
