I've never had to take my dog to daycare but it seemed like a good idea. Let me tell ya......BEST decision I ever made. Blue water pet care staff is amazing! They really do care for your animals as their own. They also send you pictures of what your dog did throughout the day! I love this! It makes me feel so much better while I'm at work knowing he's having a blast. Harvey has only been going for a couple months and I have a feeling it's gonna be a life time thing :) We used to go to the dog park and harvey is so sweet...not all dogs are the same he has been bit twice at dogparks and harvey just takes the beating it breaks my heart. This place is great. I think as of this point I have used all of the services they offer. Ive been bringing my dog here for their daycare once or twice a week since April 2024 when she was 4 months old, and have also used their boarding and grooming facilities. The daycare has been awesome for her socialization, especially this winter when I cant get her outside to play. And she is always excited when she arrives for the day. The times we've used them for boarding they send daily updates and pictures, for a small fee now I believe, but still well worth it. I've had her bathed, brushed and nails done about every 6 weeks or so and she's always looked great when done. She had her first haircut this week and looks really good. Highly recommend. read more

I am so disappointed in Blue Water Pet Care. I wanted to take my great Dane there to socialize with other dogs. I first wanted to take a tour of the facility but they said no they do not allow people inside. I was like who would take their pet there without seeing the inside of the facility first? They said because of the pandemic they will not allow anyone inside. OK but I can go inside any other business with a mask on but you're telling me I cannot go inside to see where my dog is going to be? They said no absolutely not. Who in their right mind would take their pet to a place they cannot check out first? This just doesn't make sense. They need to re-consider their position on this! read more

The staff at Blue Water Pet Care is amazing place to bring your fur babies. They answer any questions that I have. Always polite and helpful. Easy convenient to book a res online. I bring my dog Jynx, a Alaskan Malamute there for boarding when I'm away for work. she loves all of the attention she gets. They have boarding, dog daycare, and grooming service. I usually book a boarding, along with a grooming service that way it's taken care of when I pick her up. I don't have to spend a day off at different dog groomer. They give her allergy medicine, and make sure she gets her food at meal time. During the summer time they have pools out for the dogs and my dog loves it!! read more

I am so upset with blue water pet care. I wanted to take my great Dane there to socialize with other dogs. I wanted to tour the facility to see what it looks like inside and how it feels . I LOVE Blue Water Pet Care. My dog had no idea how to play (rescued at about 2 yrs old from an overpass in Detroit). He was a great family dog but did not know how to interact with other dogs. We weren't surprised when he flunked his temperament test. After 5 Learn to Play sessions with trainers he was happy and well-behaved in Doggy Day Care with all the other dogs. My favorite part of the day is the pictures BWPC texts of my dog smiling and playing. I was a nervous mom the first time we boarded him. Staff was patient and reassuring when I called the next morning. I now am confident he will be well cared for and happy when we are away. read more

Blue water or care has been an absolute blessing to me. My Doberman was purchased during the COVID lock down and we were not able to socialize he m like we needed to. Arlo has gone 6 days a week since the end of June and he absolutely loves it. He s a breed that needs to be socialize but also worked daily. Arlo is completely worn ouT when he gets home. Arlo has grown so much there. I love that I get daily report cards and photos of his play and I love that they offer extra services like grooming and treats. I would not trust any other place with my fur baby! He was born with a neurological problem in his back legs and tires easily. The staff completely works with him every time. If he shows any signs or symptoms of fatigue they take him back to his private kennel with his cot so he can rest. They are absolutely fabulous and I cannot recommend them enough. I received a text everyday I was on vacation with photos of him. It was so heart warming to see how much he enjoyed his week stay there. read more

my puppy loves going here!! they are so kind and gentle with all the animals! tried out my older dog going there and she's so tense with all the new smells and just got overwhelmed and they noticed and took her to a different spot and let her calm down and was petting her and giving her lovings!! they are also willing to work with her to get her used to the environment!! We were so happy leaving our pug, Peanut with BWPC! He was well taken care of, we received pictures everyday of him doing activities inside and out. We also were updated on his eating habits throughout the day. We added a grooming package and he looked great upon pick up! Blue Water Pet Care is absolutely wonderful! Our boy Oscar is always excited to play with all his friends he has made there. It is super easy to make reservations online, and always a friendly greeting by the staff or owner. We have recommended BWPC to friends and people at the dog park and will continue. When I needed to board him, there was no question of where he would stay, plus Blue Water has a kiddie pool that Jasper almost lived in. My boy seemed to have a blast. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was super easy to book a day of play. We plan to use them for boarding and want him use to being there so we may set up a weekly day of play. He was there half a day and came home and went right to sleep. i have used Blue water pet care for many years every time I need to be out of town. My dogs are well cared for and very happy there. The staff is great with them and very helpful. We've used Blue Water Pet Care on several occasions. It's clean and well managed. Our little bichon loves to go there. We've used the Day Care program and will use the overnight boarding later in the fall. I especially like knowing our pet will have access to all of the Day Care activities when being boarded.
