Dr. Young is absolutely amazing. We recently lost one of our fur-babies, Charming. We were seeking a comfort care route for him, as he was nearing his final days. She answered all of the questions that we had, while she answered them in truth, she was so compassionate. She didn't treat us like "a job", we could truly see how much she cared. We thought we had enough medicine, and they were closing before we could get there to pick it up, and they actually let us pay over the phone and left it outside in a special hidden place for us to pick up. I called the next day, and asked the receptionist a few questions, and she relayed them to Dr. Young. The receptionist called us back within minutes and ask us to send Dr Young pictures of what we were noticing on Charming. I think she understood that taking him to see her again would have actually caused more strain on him. While we no longer have charming, she said something that stuck with us, "it's okay to say goodbye, even on a good day". We have two more fur-babies, and I plan on taking them to see her annually. read more

Our 5-month year old AKC Pug puppy, Mylo, has been coming to Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic since we first brought him home. He has received loving and thorough care from all of the staff. Took my dog there after being turned down by my regular vet for emergency care. Dr. Wallace and the staff were awesome! They did a great job of calming my anxiety and were very kind and efficient. They evaluated him immediately and treated him for an acute infection. My dog was so impressed that this is our new veterinary service! read more

Are they in it just for the money?? My dog had an ear infection. Original visit 226.00. Return check up 165.00 just to be told it had cleared up. This is a reoccurring yeast / ear issue problem for my dog. They tell me there isn't a prescription I can get to give her to prevent it. It will begin again in 6 months. 391.00 to treat seems pretty expensive. Doesn't cost that much for a person with no medical insurance To get treated for the same. Taking the invoices with charges to another vet to see what they would have charged. Very disappointed . read more

I took my very sick dog there because she was not eating and was running a fever. My dog is / was Very active! Up until this day. They took her temp. In her Ear ? And it was 105° Never really examined her in front of me. Took her to the Back Room where they took blood & gave her an IV. Sent us home. With antibiotics. I get a call telling me that she has an infection. I paid $446.00 & change the day of the visit. The second day I called told them she wasn't eating. They charged me another $50.67 for 3 tiny syringes of something to get her to eat. This morning I call in because she's not eating, running a fever, can't stand up. And they won't see her unless I pay up front for anything they do today !! Isn't there such a thing as a follow up visit? The woman was very Nasty with me. Said we do not accept payment plans in this office! I explained to them from day one that I am a disabled Veteran on a fixed income. The $500 was all I had left for the month. I'm flat broke. She didn't care !! Money up front !! No compassion at all. My dogs gonna die I guess. I have nothing ! No money Left this month. I'm not planning on leaving the state, running out on a bill if they treated my dog !! Such horrible treatment!! Don't ever go here !! They were so sweet the first day. But , now that I haven't any money and asked them to bill me. They turned hateful. Never again !! People make sure you know where you're going. And you have unlimited funds. They Compassion is only there if you have money in your wallet. No compassion for the animal at all! It's all about the BUCK . read more

I have taken both of my dogs and my cat to LHVC on multiple occasions over the last year since moving to SE MI. I am surprised by the poor reviews on Yelp, that said, anything older than January 2020 can largely be ignored. The clinic underwent a complete change of core staff including new doctors and management in 2020. The facilities are clean and modern, both of the new doctors are very caring and the support staff is organized and professional. Nobody likes a trip to the doctors office (especially pets when it's a vet clinic) but LHVC makes the necessity of keeping my pets healthy a bit easier. I'd recommend LHVC pet healthcare services to anyone and suggest considering it for your own pet's needs based on the more recent reviews. read more

We have been taking our Golden Retriever to Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic since he was a puppy. I could not ask for a better staff and Veterinarian to provide advice and care to our dog. They have done a excellent job following the COVID regulations with the curb side drop off for appointments, I never have to wait for them to get him from the car and soon after a call from the Veterinarian to walk me thru the exam. Having a couple issues that have come up with his health, we always receive a phone call a couple several days after checking up on him. (I recently took my parents dog to their vet and it was a horrible experience, waited an hour in the exam room for the tech to come see their dog. This made me realize how excellent and appreciative I am for Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic). *Knowing that ratings effect businesses ratings, please look past the reviews that discuss people's opinions on how "expensive" they are. You are paying for a service, that you should have looked into prior, reviews should be based on performance and service not on something you should have inquired about prior. read more

Lake Huron veterinary Clinic is great! Most of these reviews are fake! They do everything they can to save animals! My cat has had the best care she can possibly get. They DR NOT kill animals like some of these idiots claim. They have had cases where owner wanted to put their pets down and they wouldn't. Please give them a chance, don't listen to "fake reviews" . I love the veterinarian and staff and won't go anywhere else. read more

If you haven't been to Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic lately, you should give it a try. They have a new Veterinarian named Dr. Mosel and she is wonderful! I recently took my Cat and he was treated so well. They have a cats only exam room away from the other exam rooms that helped keep my kitty calm. He was given a complete examination and was treated properly for his ear issue. The office is super clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. read more

Just started taking my animals here. They were willing to work with me on meds needed. And we had an emergency come up and they were able to get us in same day. They walk you through everything and every expense. I couldn't be happier with where I take my animals. Not expensive either. Much cheaper than most. But still, you are paying for the service. read more

My little dog has been patient here for years. He receives such wonderful care! We are so lucky to have such a great veterinary clinic so close to home. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The technicians and Veterinarian are thorough and clear. They always review what needs to be done and give different options for care/treatment. Reviewing the cost for everything before doing anything is a consistent practice. He had to go in once with a stomach virus and at another time with an ear infection. They diagnosed him properly, treated him efficiently, and he was feeling better by the next day. They even called to check on him to see how he was doing the next day and three days after the visit. Lake Huron Veterinary had not had a permanent Vet on staff for a couple months, but as of our last visit for a nail trim, they had a new Vet on staff and she was amazing! He has his annual visit tomorrow and we are looking forward to getting his check up and vaccines for the next year. We also purchase his food and treats/snacks from them and he just loves them! He has some food sensitivities and they have exactly what he needs to take care of his little tummy. We are so thankful for Lake Huron Veterinary clinic! read more

Do not use this service! We had been customers for many years and when I called saying my dog was really sick and needed an appointment I was turned down. The excuse I was given was that they were really busy. I made an appointment for my dog for 5 days in the future. I knew that I would now have to run him down to the emergency vet clinic in Mt Clemens. I did that and he was treated by some very caring professionals. He did not survive. I called the vet here to cancel the appointment and they asked if he was feeling better. I told them he died. They had nothing to say. They had the nerve to send me a rainbow bridge card a couple weeks later. Overall, I would suggest you pick any other service! read more

The bills seem to add up quickly with this place and one of the doctors there is extremely incompetent. After 500$ bill and convincing that my 3 year old dog had an aggressive form of cancer and "wait and see" attitude my dog had to have emergency bowel surgery due to a severe hernia! I don't know how Dr. Roberts sleeps at night. read more
