We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.

They were patient and accommodating with my toddler, and let her feed several of the animals. At the end of the tour, she got some time to play on the property. The giant play structure might have been her favorite part! The little train ride was an added bonus as well. You can tell that the animals are all loved and cared for as well. I absolutely loved the slow drive in. I was greeted by a super friendly golden retriever when I stepped out of my car. And otherwise didn't come into contact with anyone else which makes sense since it's on an honor system. I was looking for wreaths that I saw on their Instagram and found beautiful succulent filled pumpkins and other treats instead. I am looking forward to adding this stop to my Pescadero day trip itinerary which includes Fish tacos at the gas station, artichoke bread from the deli, and Harley Farms goat cheese.

If you like a small family exclusive farm educational experience, this is for you. Julian and Tina are such a sweet sweet couple! Julian knows all about his animals and takes great care of them. Our 7 and 2yo boys absolutely loved the animals and the very natural experience. There're dozens of hens, a few goats, ducks and even peacocks. We were especially impressed by how much attention Julian pays to safety. He separates the animals while our toddler was petting ducks.
