When we think of delicious heirloom tomatoes and more varieties, this is the only spot that comes to mind. Tomatoes here are unbelievably flavorful, and the Brad's Atomic Grape variety is on another level. During tomato season, you simply park outside and pick your own, which is such a fun and thoughtful idea. Online Catalog offered 30 varieties to choose from for $10 a plant. However on the day, they offered 47 tomato varieties (see pic) The Local Makers Market event also had local owned business booths, from a flower van, champagne, crafts, olive oil booth, salsa booth, bath products like lotions and potions and likely a dozen more I can't recall. A food truck called "Pupusa Lady" and of course I ordered 2 empanadas. Delicious ! Parking was easy as one actually parks on the main road. Not sure if there was other parking. All in all, it was a warm breezy day and amazed how many ppl were buying these starter tomato plants. Even the owner was in the midst talking to customers. So glad they accepted plastic. Process was super easy as one finds the vanities, grab the pot (and free cardboard box, if needed), then walk to "cashier" table and pay. I bought 4 varieties : Brandywine, Nepal, Martha Washington and Tasmanian Chocolate. Tip: During the tomato season, This farm offers an honesty cart where they leave their beautiful tomatoes of the season on a cart outside and one pays based on prices and place payment in a lock box or similar. I haven't experienced that YET as tomato season is not yet here. But once summer arrives and on my way to the Gilroy Outlets, I'll be sure to buy fresh in season tomatoes.

If you like a small family exclusive farm educational experience, this is for you. Julian and Tina are such a sweet sweet couple! Julian knows all about his animals and takes great care of them. Our 7 and 2yo boys absolutely loved the animals and the very natural experience. There're dozens of hens, a few goats, ducks and even peacocks. We were especially impressed by how much attention Julian pays to safety. He separates the animals while our toddler was petting ducks.

The kids and adults all learned so much about tortoises, and the whole experience was incredibly informative, hands-on, and just so cool. How often do you get to get up close and personal with giant tortoises like that?! The owners were so knowledgeable and kind to open up their home and space to all of us. You can tell how much they care about their animals and sharing what they know with kids. Such a fun and unique experience, and we can't wait to come back again with my youngest for his field trip!

Unfortunately, the experience quickly changed due to the rude behavior from the owners. During our visit, the owner yelled at the children - YELLED. This video is just a small example of what happened. There were multiple instances where both the man and his wife raised their voices not only at the kids, but also at the parents. While the children still managed to have fun, the overall environment felt stressful and uncomfortable for many of us. We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.

When you arrive there is a ticket booth near the parking lot to get ride tickets but if you walk further into the venue there are other ticket booths with much shorter lines. We took our 1 1/2 year old son on the cow train and he loved it. The corn maze is super fun and nice they have trivia questions along the route so you can answer questions to see which way to go.

This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition. My friend and I made our way to Pescardero from Pacifica after our little beach picnic. Had a fun…read moretime visiting this goat farm. She used to work nearby, so she's been here before while this is my first time. Because I had my pup with us, we took turns going into the farm and the store to look around. Harley Farms have working Anatolian shepherds guarding their goats, so it's against their rules to bring your dog into the farm/store as they are seen as predators. They can stay outside while leashed which is what we did with my pup. While there, we were able to pet some baby goats, took photos of the goats, the little horse, birds and the farm. We both brought like $100+ worth of goat cheese, pepperoni, nuts, etc. There's an area where you can sample wine but we didn't partake. A bit expensive and touristy, but we still enjoyed. Located on North St, around the bend from Pescardero Creek Rd.
