I called BueFiks LLC, Mission Viejo, CA, to replace the canopy of my gazebo. One of the employees, Amir, did an insatisfactory job! The canopy has eight strips to assemble with Velcro. None of the Velcro straps were properly attached, and some even barely closed at the top and bottom, leaving the entire length open. When I also asked him to check the screws of the canopy's structure, he replied that everything was okay just by taking a glance at the small screws, except for one side, and reluctantly, he asked his colleague to go get a screw from the truck and fix it. Any handyman knows to check if a screw is secure, all you need to use is a manual or electric screwdriver to be sure! What he didn't do, his boss still thinks he is an excellent specialist. Update: I only tried to do business with this place once so the owner's claims of "always needing a refund" are interesting. I also paid for the service that was received, of which there is a record of. As noted the actual service wasn't my issue - it was OK. Amir and his partner did a great job building a large backyard gazebo and garden shed for me. They clearly know what they're doing and were able to put both together in about a half day. I only took them down one star for their finishing work. In the gazebo, the wind and bug screens at the top were buckled and not flush to the metal. The clasp for the door on the shed had actually been put on incorrectly. They fixed both when brought to their attention. Also, I was disappointed that they did not clean up around the base of the gazebo after they finished bolting it to a concrete pad. There were thick piles of concrete dust all around the base of the columns. A small thing, but a little sloppy I felt. That said, they did a good job building and their price was competitive. I purchased a pretty complex Yardistry gazebo from Costco and discovered via online reviews that it was incredibly difficult to put together. I decided to Google companies that specialized in building these assuming they'd have more experience with such a frustrating product. The first company that popped up was BlueFiks.
