What stood out to me is when our agreed upon solution to a mysterious smell problem with my restroom dehumidifier (turn off and cover it) didn't work as well as hoped, he came by to try another (pull out pipe with debris and take out dehumidifier engine) for no extra charge. Where do I start... I am beyond grateful I found Angel on Yelp. My mother needed a few repairs around her house & after speaking with Angel I was confident he was the right person for the job. We started with broken lever in toilet in bedroom, come to find out the 2nd bathroom had same problem. Angel picked up parts, making 2 trips to hardware store. We needed to get our condo in Culver City ready to sell very quickly: painting, patching holes in the wall, and various other repairs. We were referred to Angel by our realtor, and from day one, he went above and beyond to make us feel like his most valuable client. We actually had already left town before we started working with Angel, so I've never met him in person. Despite that fact, he gave us a detailed quote before any work began. Then, once he started working, he was in constant communication: texts, phone calls, even sharing a Google Photos page where he would upload pictures of the work in progress! I have never met another contractor with this level of professionalism and communication. He always presented us with any options that might go outside of the scope of our initial agreement. Professional and personable; would definitely work with Angel again! I needed to replace a ceiling fan with a light fixture on my 15 foot tall ceiling and didn't have the means or manpower. I called around a few places on Yelp, and Angel was not only the quickest to respond, but also the easiest to work with in accommodating with my schedule. On the day of the installation, Angel made sure to cover my living room with plastic lining around the work area to make sure everything was protected. While setting up, he was entirely friendly and even gave me great food recommendations around the area since I had just moved into the neighborhood. The job took quite the effort (it was a 2-man job with his business partner, Julio), but the light came out looking great! When they were done, Angel not only clean up the plastic lining, but he also vaccumed up loose debris/styrofoam! It's been a week since and the light fixture hasn't fallen down on me, so I'm gonna give Angel a solid 5! I destroyed a under sink cabinet floor (on accident) while doing a bathroom remodel and needed help to get started again. I just couldn't get started again after I did that, it just froze my momentum. Angel came right over after we spoke, discussed his rates and got to work immediately after he arrived which is EXACTLY what I needed. He had his own set of high quality tools, including some I didn't have (like an airless Milwaukee Fuel nailer) which is surprising since I have nearly everything. He quickly figured out a solution, found wood that would work, ran plywood through my table saw like a pro and he quickly reconstructed the floor, which is now likely unbreakable. Angel charged a VERY reasonable amount of time which was really nice, and makes me want to hire him again soon for more jobs.
