Things and stuff Elvis... Located next door to the cafe that bears the same name we stopped by "just to look." This souvenir shop sells all things Elvis, Memphis and Beale Street plus anything from magnets to clothing to BBQ sauce and seasonings to lottery tickets. Did I mention anything Elvis? :) I purchased souvenirs to bring home to my co-workers including this 1-lb bag of dark roasted ground coffee in which I'd rather not mention the name (see photo). They better not be complaining about being sleepy coming to work. Great place to shop for last minute Memphis souvenirs. A little tight inside... lots of merchandise! Review #1878

I am a sucker for souvenirs since I was a kid because my folks would always stop at places that put names on them everywhere we went. So who doesn't want a sand snow globe from Myrtle Beach or a ceramic Mom & baby dolphin on a pedestal that says Key West, yep those were mine. Anyway if you're looking for anything that has Memphis painted or stamped on it then this is a pretty darn good place to shop. Plus if you're into Elvis like I always have been, then Blues City General Store is a wonderful all-in-one stop for a fan, we're talking Elvis stuff galore! (thank you, thank you very much :-) Pro tip: Elvis week is pretty crazy so if you don't like crowds, well be warned. If it's Memphis memorabilia you're looking for well you'll find it here too, with Sun Records, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and B.B. King stuff, along with others from floor to ceiling throughout this very stuffed store. This shop is located in the middle of Beale Street in close proximity to The Peabody, Hard Rock, Hall of Fame and lots of music venues (juke joints more like it) and of course lots of food. There's everything from postcards to glassware, blankets. candles, records and lots fo t-shirts and so much more. Plus they are open until 1am! Bottom line: if you want a souvenir in Memphis, this is THE place to stop.

I thought this shop was super cute and tidy! Great prices for some unique, high-quality Memphis tees, vinyl decals, and .25 postcards. Staff members were pleasant and everyone wears masks, which is appreciated!

This is just another in a long line in this street of sub par shops. There are cheaper places to get stuff and with better workers.

We spent just a little time in Memphis on our way back to Texas and had to have some Elvis before we left.

This was a good festival…read more The lineup wasn't bad, but the flow of everything was extremely chaotic. The bathroom situation is what it is since it's a music festival.

The festival was at Tom Lee Park this year. I enjoyed the music but I won't attend this festival in…read morethe future for the following reasons: -The bag policy was clearly stated in the FAQ. Bags over 9x9 had to be clear. A member of my group was denied entry by an overzealous worker at the bag check area. The bag was 8.5x9. We had made sure. The worker refused to measure the bag stating "We don't have rulers." She refused to listen to reason and called security who backed her up. It was arrogant, unreasonable, mean and she was 100% incorrect. IF YOU HAVE A BAG SIZE POLICY, THEN HAVE A RULER ON HAND. -There was absolutely no accommodation for the disabled or seniors. No shuttle from the ADA parking, which was ridiculously far from the venue. No shade. Nowhere to sit but you weren't allowed to bring a chair. There were some benches away from any entertainment. At night they were in absolute pitch black darkness. -The food trucks were repetitive and unappealing. The lone taco truck was by the furthest entrance. The venue was a mile long. Nobody wanted to walk that far for tacos. -The porta potties we're set up in a row along the riverfront. As we sat waiting for a band at the VW stage, we hoped for a riverfront view and breeze. We got a porta potty view. This entire festival was set up thoughtlessly...or should I say that there was one thought...to get as much money out of festival goers as possible without considering their comfort. When the headliners are Robert Plant and Earth, Wind and Fire, you're attracting older people who can no longer sit on the ground or eat corn dogs.
