Got my transmission rebuilt for $2,100. I have been back three times already and have less than 2,000 miles on the rebuild. First trans wouldn't shift, next a leak and then again a leak. Haven't driven the car in 1 month, since it's my classic car and it's leaking again. Check engine light still comes on. Man, I paid $2,100 and I feel wrong for needing to take it back. When it was about getting my money, he got me in next day for the rebuild. After that, he always needs to find time to look at it. I'm super pissed. I have had four transmissions installed .one by the former owner John who died on an desert excursion when his dune buggy landed on him & he was killed. Subsequently Blue moved into the transmission shop. I have had three transmissions installed in approximately four years They have broke down in a year to year sn a half. The last one failed in five months. I then went to inland Chevrolet & got a three year warranty & a 100 000 miles warrant. Blue declined to service the last transmission. Had my Trans OH by Blue and first problem was my transfer case skid plate was on backwards,transmission pan leaked,cooler lines on radiator weren't fastened in clamps,transmission light started flashing on the first tow(had to have other shop diagnose it cost$$$ when went to blue they were annoyed my truck was broke and didn't fix anything and went back later and had to demand they fix my coast clutch,didn't have enough trans fluid in it,never shifted good into third, transmission went out completely 15,000 miles later after spending over 3grand to this guy and had to get overhauled again and cost 4500$$.. Worst shop experience ever!! Almost forgot transfer case bolt fell out onto driveway another was almost out plus all were loose and leaked were it mates to transmission.. read more

First of all, let me just say, the man that owns this place is just about the sweetest guy I've ever met. I have an extreme case of anxiety, but when talking to him, I was fine. I had him check my car a couple weeks back, he took it for a test drive, and told me exactly what was wrong. No bullshit, no beating around the bush, or trying to get more money out of me. Knowing I'm a 21 year old girl who doesn't know much about cars, it's obvious to say anyone could of tricked me and made me pay way more than what I did. Bluye's didn't a bench rebuild on my Buick LaCrosse transmission. They replaced all seals and relays as well as torque converter for $1500. I removed and installed the transmission. Blue gave me some tips for reinstallation, nice guy. It's been about a year and the tranny is still running great. read more

Terrible, terrible..... Blue treated my kids like crap. They took my car for a simple oil change for me. His attitude and the way he treated them is completely unacceptable as a business owner. When he replaced my engine last year, we noticed the attitude but continued doing business with him because he's a decent Mechanic. My kids did not know Blue was the one that replaced my engine. All my kid did was ask a simple question about what kind of oil he used in my car, Blue refused to answer him at first, then replied with attitude and proceeded to call my kid a jerk for simply asking a question. Blue then proceeded to yell at them saying leave here now and don't pay me just get out of here. Now, I'm having to go get the oil changed elsehere because I need a receipt for the Chevy warranty. I was reading some of the reviews I had a bad experience experience with this gentleman I'm a single lady I went in there alone he has a red-headed mechanic I brought him the part and antifreeze he gave me a ride home I was scolding me in the car how I pay too much for the antifreeze in three days the engine light came back on when I turn back the redhead man put his little scanner was telling me that I have to go to Ford that it's the motherboard when I left I went to another shop they told me it was the thermostat I then went to two more shops who confirmed that it was the thermostat what I paid the man for he had another vehicle there that was like mine I believe that he put that part in some that car because you know this certain particular person he took advantage of them give me back my old Parts I wound up having to go to another mechanic and pay another mechanic for the same job so I got ripped off from this guy I'm taking him to court read more
