Bluff Creek Park trail...get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy some of OKC's beauty!!!

What a beautiful place to take a walk after work. This park is filled with wild life, trees, plants and water. Whether you want to walk, run or bicycle this park can accommodate you. The air is fresh and the trees provide some relief from the heat. Today i was even able to see a couple of deer grazing near the small creek. Try this place when you want to get away and go see some nature without traveling so far. You wont be sorry.

    Looking good, Bluff Creek Park.

I love this area of OKC and Bluff Creek Park is a gem. In the evenings when the sun is setting, you'll see some of the best Oklahoma sunsets while deer are out grazing the land. The park tends to get pretty crowded on nice days. Kids just love it and I've seen a lot of birthday parties thrown here, too. Then, there are the trails and the fact that it is so conveniently located near Lake Hefner. I absolutely love this part of town. People are out and about riding their bikes, going on walks or jogs, and it's just a nice place to take in Mother Nature.

Very nice park with a lot of grassy green space, a modern playground, pavilions for picnicking, looping paths for walking/jogging/running and mountain biking trails. It looks especially nice here in summer when the garden, grasses and forested areas are greened up. My complaints are that the paths and trails could easily be extended, and the pond area is being poorly utilized. Why not make some hike/bike in day camping spots? Place some picnic tables in clearings amongst the trees with bbqs or even fire pits. OKC lacks areas like that, and this park could easily be expanded to something more of a catch-all, like the 'great parks' in Southern California.

This place is so nice for pictures! We originally were going to go to Martin Nature Park, but they don't allow dogs. The entrance into the park is not the best, but once you go into the trails and trees, it makes for some awesome scenery. It also was not crowded at all; there were only a handful of people going through the trails. See the potential in the photos we took of this family and their great dogs!

Such a cute park! There is trails, playground, covered tables, benches, and plenty of open spaces.

This place is awesome for a Sunday BBQ, mountain bike riding, or just a relaxing walk or run! They have a large field, lots of pavement walking trails, and over 3 miles of running/biking trails. To add to it they have cover pavilion seating that you can reserve and have birthday parties, barbecues, graduation banquets anything like that. If you ride the mountain bike course just remembered that you do have to wear a helmet it is required and to bring at least two bottles of water or your favorite sports drink. The mountain bike trail is set up pretty well for beginners intermediate and advanced riders.in the spring time between five and eight the mountain bike trail tends to be pretty busy with avid riders. They also have a children's park there at Pat Murphy Park and it's a great spot to have a birthday party under the covered pavilion, let the kids play on the nice playground equipment or have a picnic next to the playground at one of their patio tables. The playground equipment has been maintained and they have a nice amount of swings and they have two little baby swings also which every Parent loves. I will say on a windy day the woodchips are not fun to be on because they blow right through the air and smack in the face. Ha ha ha ha

Great walking park. Very safe with good parking. The trails are paved and well marked. Good park for young kids and strollers.

Too many dogs. Watch out for the poop. Also don't wear new shoes it's always muddy on the trails.

Very nice park! Only downside is the porta-potty bathroom rather than a built in one but overall it has something for everyone.
