With the prices being what they are, I was not keen on the extra charge for an alt milk. There is plenty of indoor seating and a merchandise area where you can buy coffee, equipment, and shirts. They sell Proud Mary Coffee, as well as Rowan Coffee Roasters (which they currently use for drinks). Laptops are not allowed on the weekends-- gotta love that intentional disconnect from technology to connect with humans irl. :)

It was so surprising- It had a sweet and fruity taste, and I asked the owner about it and he said it's a special type of coffee fermented with fruits and that he cycles through different blends for the iced coffee often. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor and he offered me to try the cold brew instead, which was very kind and a relief because I hate telling anyone I don't like a drink! The cold brew was much more up my alley, very strong and dark and it was great without any syrup or creamer. I love the interior of the shop and the sense of comfort you get being in there. They had a ton of coffee beans And I asked the owner which would be the best dark roast and he picked one out for me that's been pretty good so far (although not as dark as I expected). My friend got a dirty chai and I don't think she was too thrilled with it. But I would definitely come back to try some new things!

I ordered a cappuccino, bran muffin, and a breakup cookie to take home. The cappuccino is just as expected. Served at the perfect temp, great flavor. The bran muffin, which was my attempt to be healthy, was really a delicious stand-out. I would definitely get that again. And, of course, the breakup cookies are some of the best cookies in town. They bake all of the baked goods in-house, I believe, which gets a round of applause from me. A lot of the recipes are still the same ones I remember from 7 years ago. One thing I noticed that's even BETTER than I remember was the books and gift selection. A lot of the books caught my eye. It's a great curation of fiction, non, memoirs, birding books, children's, etc. They also carry the Village Apothecary candles, which are made locally and have some packaging I really love. I LOVE Ladybird Tacos! I could eat them every day! Something about those tortillas are just so perfect! It's also hard to choose just one taco, but when I saw tenderbelly bacon as a choice, the #1 is what I got! Tenderbelly bacon, egg, and cheese! They also have some of the best dipping sauces! It was delicious! To drink, I had an iced strawberry matcha latte. It was delicious as expected. They have only a few basic flavors but I would assume they will get more as time passes. I love the uniqueness of a coffee shops menu so it was a little disappointing. Nonetheless, I was still excited to try. The barista recommended the Manu, the vanilla & cinnamon latte. It's actually pretty good! Nothing I would run back to. But the location is very convenient for me. The baristas, Kerrick and Lex, were very helpful in choosing my order.
