The backstory: We went to the store in Mid July to schedule shrink wrap service right after Labor Day. Was assured it would be no problem but would need to call after 8/19 to schedule. We even looked at a calendar upstairs and the store associate assured me an appointment would be easy to get because most folks don't schedule until late September or October. This was a great reassurance as we need to leave right after Labor Day for back-to-school. After an onsite consultation where I tipped the guys $20 each on a hot day, I was told by the store the estimate I received was not necessarily accurate and they would not have pricing for a few weeks. Today, 8/20, I called to schedule the service and hear final price. The owner, Scott Fisher, was incredibly rude and told me they could not possibly get to me until after we leave the area for the summer. This was a date which we indicated at the beginning of the process. His reasoning was they have a sidewalk sale the weekend before. Also something they would have known about when we made the initial inquiry. Adding insult to injury, Mr. Fisher was constantly talking over me in a condescending manner and would not let me finish my sentence. I strongly suspect he would not have taken the same tone had it been my husband calling. His behavior was so appalling that I hung up the phone. I'm in shock at how this man would communicate to a long-time customer. Sincerely recommend True Value in CMCH as a more affordable and much more pleasant option.

They handled every unexpected issue pleasantly, with extreme patience and professionalism. The sectional sofa we had delivered didn't fit through our sliding glass door, Jay and Jaylin didn't give up. As they quietly struggled they found a way and got the sofa in without any damage to either our door or furniture, no complaints just unwavering determination. They also took time out of their scheduled day to set up our older mattresses onto the new risers we purchased. All and all these gentlemen went above and beyond to help us, Hopefully you'll be lucky, as we were, to have these guys deliver for you ! PS. They also moved the large sectional sofa 3x to placing it perfectly for us !!

We have been waiting for the balance of our furniture, which was all to be delivered by July. We have called and emailed 17 times, and David, the owner, has ghosted us since the summer. Not only has our order remained incomplete, but we received 2 items that were damaged. We are now waiting for the second "repair technician" to come to fix a brand new dresser. The drawers will not open, and the first tech that was sent out told us that he will let Surroundings know that the piece is defective, and should be returned. i could continue, but the point is that we now realize why they only accept cash. Surroundings will take your cash and hold you hostage, while not adhering to any timeline, quality assurance, or promises that they provide. BEWARE!

I was disappointed the jewelry wasn't on sale as last year I bought several unique pieces. I tend to go crazy for 50% off. The children's clothes are precious and there is lots of little kid kitsch. The store was very busy with shoppers during this visit. I spent $100 on misc items. There are lots of quality beachwear items and gift wares as well. I enjoy this shop and the proprietor, whose choice of goods and prices is very favorable. Sadly I got spoiled by last year's end of season sale prices. However my credit card was happy.
