Absolutely awful customer service, scheduling especially. Appointments made and cancelled last minute by them. Rude scheduling person.

This used to be a nice family owned company but it is not anymore! Their techs Just try and sell you things and they are not trained properly. I had a terrible experience dealing with them lately as they said I needed a New furnace and AC and 3 other companies said I absolutely didn't after they did inspections. I also learned of an elderly couple they were taking advantage of by "not being able ti get a part" for their 9 year old Lennox furnace and scared them into a $13,000 new unit. They apparently did this twice to these people. :( Do not trust them!!! read more

No matter how frustrated I am when I call, Jeff Monhollen at Bluflame always saves the day! Most recently, they replaced my air conditioner, and I plan to have them replace my furnace when the time comes. I really appreciate their understanding in giving me a little time to get the funds together. Replaced all of our furnace and ac equipment. From the Gabe doing the estimate, to Dakota and the guys doing the work, everyone was on time and very professional. We went with a complete new system, new furnace, ac equipment, whole house humidifier, new filter assembly. When doing the estimate, Gabe took the time to ask what issues we have had with the existing system, any cold or warm spots within the home, etc. then took the time to fully explain the new equipment. Dakota and the rest of the install team was here and ready to go before the scheduled time. They got in, got the old out and the new in, serviced and running all in the same day. They did a great job in cleaning up after they were done. read more

On 10-9-23 our furnace stopped working. We called a repairman (a different company) and informed them of the problem (flashing indicators -3 flashes indicating "pressure switch open with inducer on). Repairman checked and got furnace working, repairman stated inducer motor may need replacing at some time but everything checked ok at that time. On 12-7-23 our furnace went out again we call the same company, but was told it would be about 4 days until they could come out as they were very busy. At that time we called Blue Flameand they sent out a repairman that day. I informed the repairman of the problem and what the indicator lights indicated (2 flashes- indicating pressure switch closed with inducer off). Repairman checked furnace and informed us that heat exchanger and vent fan needed to be replaced, the work was performed on 12-8-23 at a total cost of $1549 plus the service call cost for a total of $1659. On 12-14-23 our furnace stopped working again with the same problem that occurred on 12-7-23, we call blue Flame to have come check our furnace and at that time we were informed that we needed a "Barometric draft damper" installed at an additional cost of $317. I stated the furnace was working just fine without the "Barometric draft damper", and why would I need one now. At that time I questioned if the prior work was even necessary, if I just needed "Barometric draft damper". I did not get a good answer to that question, at that time I declined the repair service suggested, and after declining the service asked me to sign that I was satisfied with their work, need \less to say I refused to do that. The repairman did get the furnace to operate before he leaving. We called the company that originally worked on the furnace. They sent a repairman out he stated they could find no issues (since the furnace was operating), but to call if the issue occurred again. On 1-9-24 our furnace again stopped working and the indicator lights were indicating the same problem as on 12-7-23. The repairman got the furnace working. My question is, "Was the work performed on 12-7-23 even necessary, and if the repairman even knows how to diagnose a problem and effect a repair or was he just changing parts? read more

My elderly Mom had a new furnace installed in 2022. It quit working during the coldest day or the year and are unable to even leave a vm to contact for service. TERRIBLE to not be able to contact for emergency service. (She is under a maintenance contract as well!) read more

My regular AC service company was busy so I called Bluflame. They showed up the next day and told me I needed a whole new unit. $6500. It was late on a Friday and they turned my old until off for "safety" reasons. I finally got my usual company out and they looked it over, changed the filter and said it is fine. Very happy with my first experience with Bluflame today. Our furnace quit working yesterday afternoon, and we've never needed service on it before, so I didn't have an established relationship with an HVAC service. I randomly called Bluflame because they're located near my house. Their scheduler was courteous and was able to get someone here to look at it the next day (today). They called me to let me know when the tech was on his way. The tech arrived, was very professional, and immediately went to work. He looked at the furnace, called his parts department to get pricing, and came upstairs to explain the problem (and the price quote) to me. I didn't know what to expect as far as pricing, but found it to be very reasonable. The repair was complete and I had heat again within an hour and a half. Next time I need service I would definitely feel comfortable calling Bluflame again. read more

We had a technician out to fix our AC, he was incompetent, so much so the 2nd guy said the 1st tech did things wrong....threw his own co-worker under the bus! But the 2nd tech still didn't fix the problem. We spent $1200 to still not have air. If they focused on the real issue as much as they tried to sell us a new unit this review would be different I'm sure. We've asked for a manager to call and of course we never got a call back after several attempts. Would NOT recommend. read more

Just had a 55-year-old furnace removed from our home using bluflame Heating and air-conditioning. I was extremely impressed with the professional attitude and work that was done with removing the old furnace and putting in our new furnace. They did everything they said they would do and then some they we're here at 8 o'clock in the morning and we're done by 4 no shortage of manpower to get the work done in one day. I had an appointment with this company and they called to say they were on their way. I couldn't answer my phone but was able to call back in 8 minutes. Too late! My appointment was given to someone else. Brittany stated "how was I supposed to know you would call back". I can't waste my guys time and gas. Well I guess they are doing a good enough business that my business isn't needed. read more

Bluflame is a great business to service or replace your furnace. They are very punctual, friendly, polite and get the job done quickly.

This company made me Pay In Advance for a Blower Motor and Compressor. The Tech then cancelled 2 appointments and someone from the office called and told me they needed $6,000! They never came back for the appointment and the office manager said "I am not going to have my people waste their time coming back to your property. This seems to be a scam, they don't even try to diagnose the problem, they only want to sell new units. read more

Oh my please do not call these scam artists. First of all they came just to clean out the furnace then they said you needed a new thermostat so we said we have to save up money then my husband came home from work and found out that all the guy did was turn off the off switch to the furnace that's why it was not coming on and the thermostat work perfectly fine read more
