I'm not sure what that has to do with anything cause we all get our oil changed. Also he doesn't know how to knock on the door, he opened the door and stuck his head in yelling my name as if we were friends scaring my children while doing this. I did have this same company out close to 2 years ago and it was only $125 . Not sure inflation is that bad. Our situation had to get dealt with so I couldn't call around and I should not have assumed that this company hadn't gone money hungry, so I was shocked about the cost, I do understand cost of stuff and if he was here for hours but owners of companies can use discrepancy if it's a fast job. The work was done over a period of a couple of months as my wife and I kept changing our minds as to what we wanted done. What started with the replacing of a single light turned into a much larger project. Don and John (father and son) were always punctual, hardworking and focused on the work at hand. They were very patient with our changing work orders. They also educated us in the selection of light bulbs. Buying a light bulb is no longer simple and they guided us through the process. I was told it needed to be done today or we could wait till next week. I made the decision to have it fixed on the spot, but was incredibly surprised to hear the price for a simple replacement and repair that took less than 2 hours. $2400 for a new box and a couple of wires reinstalled, all outside. I am frustrated because I felt I had to make the decision to say yes, knowing little about the issue myself and having no other current options. Had I know before hand how little work needed done I would never of agreed to such a steep price.

Small win in court! I took JAG Plumbing to small claims after they abandoned equipment in my sewer…read moreline and refused to take responsibility. The judge ruled in my favor and awarded me damages. It feels good to have some accountability -- persistence pays off! This is what happened. They did not know how to control their snake as they were helping to fix a blockage. Their snake got caught and they were unable to remove it. They did not provide any options to remedy the situation. While their business card says they have insurance, they refused to give me their insuarnce information to help remove and repair the damage. I had my lawyer send a demand letter and JAG did not respond. The Ohio Attorney General got involved and JAG refused to respond to them. My last resort is taking them to small claims court. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them they hide rather than try to help you.
