I sent her pictures of the flowers I wanted to include and she said she would do everything she could to make it happen. Day of: I was happy to see that all of the floral arrangements were ready to go when we arrived at our venue. I was pleasantly surprised that she was able to include my most wanted flower species - she had told me it may not be available. She made such me such a beautiful bridal bouquet with peonies, ranunculus, hydrangeas, and stock. She got the exact peonies and ranunculus breeds from my inspo photos! She also informed me I was the only one to get them in the valley! I was so impressed and told as many of my guests as possible. The bouquet was beautiful and smelled amazing. We had so many people commenting on the flowers and how beautiful they were. I was blown away by the gorgeous flowers and amazing service provided by Kristen for my wedding a few weeks ago! The flowers for the bouquets, tables, corsages, boutonniers, and cake were all stunning and of great quality. Kristen also styled the flowers on our wedding arch. She came into the bridal suite to show me what the arch looked like, and I had been envisioning something different. Kristen went back and completely rearranged the arch flowers. She works with your budget and understands exactly what you're looking for. My husband and I got married at Villa Siena in Gilbert, AZ, and we hired Kristen to do all our floral arrangements for our tables, our bridal party, our cake, our chupah for our ceremony, as well as the little touches. Our wedding was a dream come true! Blume events was included as part of our package with our venue. We were not sure what to expect but Kristen was professional and accommodating with all my requests. She even created flower crowns instead of bouquets for my maids of honor. When I saw the flowers on the day of the wedding they surpassed my expectations! The flowers smelled so good and lasted for a week after. Blume was the florist for my friend's wedding. I was the Maid of Honor and highly involved in the wedding planning process. When we went to the floral appointment we made it very clear what our vision for the bouquets and boutonnieres was. We showed photos, used descriptive words, gave a clear color pallet, and even listed flowers we would prefer. The meeting felt a little disjointed and unclear to me, but I thought we had adequately expressed both what we did and did not want the bouquets and boutonnieres to look like. I was appalled when we were handed our bouquets on the wedding day. It was as if she didn't listen to a thing we had said and instead went with her own plan and used flowers we specifically asked her not to use. The bouquets were lovely but they were not what we had asked for and consequently didn't match our dresses at all. I was even more frustrated when we saw the boutonnieres for the groomsmen. We made it abundantly clear that we did NOT want Lavender as it would clash with their suits. But lo and behold they were all pinned with Lavender roses. Though I am sure the quality of work was fine, it just did not fit what the bride had specifically asked for and to me that is inexcusable. I work in the events industry and I have never felt so confused and ignored by a florist. I don't know where the communication went wrong or at what point Blume thought it would be best to ignore the bride's wishes and just do whatever they wanted, but it was a shocking failure on their part. read more

It was such a pleasure to have worked with Kristen when it came to designing all my floral arrangements. When I first met Kristen I had some very generic ideas of what I wanted my flowers to look like but she took those ideas and made my floral arrangements absolutely stunning. They were very elegant and timeless. I wanted soft colors for the bouquets that followed to the center pieces. She incorporated her floral design with the lanterns and candles I provided as center pieces. The arrangement she created for the fire place at my venue was truly stunning. We chose Blume as our wedding florist, after hearing highly of them. Kristen, whom we worked with, was great. She was very helpful, easy to work with, knowledgable, obviously experienced and had a ton of picture catelogs which displayed her works. We have nothing to complain about as all went well and as planned. As we walked into the courtyard and reception ballroom on our wedding day, we were so happy with the flower selections we had made. We were trying to find a place that could whip up two very last-minute corsages. A lot of the florist shops were already closed, and after seeing on Yelp that this place was open, we took a chance. It turned out they only do flowers for actual events, but the lady (whose name I sadly missed) offered to make them for us right away. She could only take cash since they had no way of processing credit cards, but we were so happy that she offered to make them for us. I walked to the back to look at the roses they had available, and they were in the middle of making some arrangements for an event. They looked beautiful, and if today was any indicator of their typical customer service, I hope I have cause to order from them in the future. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the bouquets that I ordered for my wedding day. On the invoice, it clearly stated that the flowers were to include babies breath, sunflowers, and lavender primarily with a small amount of wheat. I included an attached picture for them to reference and both emailed it and showed it to them personally when we met. When the bouquets arrived, there was no babies breath, an overwhelming and ridiculous amount of wheat, hardly any lavender, and a lot of a purple stock flower that I really did not care for. Fortunately I had a friend that came and disassembled the bouquets and added babies breath that we had on hand and removed most of the wheat. I honestly don't know what I would've done without her. The bright purple stock that they really pushed for me to use when I met you was not at all part of my vision and when I saw it in person I knew it would have to be removed as well. I appreciated your profession. This was a very DIY wedding, but I believed that the bouquets were so important that they should be done professionally. If I had known, I would have simply made them myself. Hundreds of dollars was wasted. read more

Brides or any family or friend of the bridal party reading this, I know there are several good reviews about Blume in here but please listen to the bad ones. I unfortunately, along with most others that wrote about their bad experience with Kristen Mandly on here, had the exact same bad experience. She did not communicate well, agreed to everything I was telling her I wanted but never showed me pictures of anything prior to my wedding. When I asked if I could see a replica of what I would be receiving she said her fee is $200 per hour plus the cost of ordering the flowers. Aside from that, when I told her that I would like a two dozen rose bouquet she said it would be too big for me. I am the bride, if I want a two dozen rose bouquet just say "ok". If you think it's too big for me then show me other options instead of telling me no. Her poor communication skills and lack of personability was what made me cancel my contract with her. I initially ended up losing money on a "deposit" that was made for flowers that were supposedly ordered that I never confirmed that was almost 1/2 of my floral budget. In canceling the contract with Kristen, I would rather have lost the money I would have had Villa Siena not worked with me to cover it after I showed them rude and very unprofessional emails and texts from Kristen Mandly, then to stayed in a contract with her knowing her lack of professionalism and customer service skills. I am shocked that she is on the preferred vendors list at Villa Siena. I ended up utilizing Flowers by Jodi who did what a florist should do for a bride for her wedding and did such an amazing job with such short notice. Both vendors are on the vendors list for Villa Siena, as well as 2 other florist who I have no feedback on as I did not use them, but if you can avoid Blume Events, please do. I don't wish any bride to go through what I did 2 1/2 weeks before my wedding. read more

First off the flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful! They did arrive on time but although we were told they do one wedding a day, we were later told the reason that our bouquets and boutonnieres were just "dropped off, " were because a helper not the owner had dropped them off. Usually Kristen is the one that helps put on the boutonnieres. None of the groomsmen had them during the wedding, as we found them later. We ran around after the wedding ceremony to put them on for pictures. Also, we had verbally added on flowers for the cake as well as for the mothers at the ceremony, and we did not get them. If you add on later, please remember to have it in writing. The flowers that did get delivered at the reception were beautiful, although the hydrangeas for the pew ends at the church were a little wilted :( All in all they were very nice, and the reception flowers were FANTASTIC! The reception table flowers were BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The church issue was the only reason I did not give a five star review. read more
