Unfortunately that was not the greatest, WAY too gentle, WAY too much oil, and hardly felt relieved nor relaxed after - I kept thinking "when is this massage going to start" even after for more pressure. My partner had the same experience as well. This specific spot was very clean, cute and unassuming. The main space has different rooms and the facial room I was in felt like a true spa experience. What sets this medspa apart is that you actually feel like you're getting a facial at a spa. Some places keep you with your clothes and just work on your face. They give you a cute little towel wrap for you to change into while you cozy up under the blankets/sheets and get nice and relaxed, ready for your facial. Hanna encourages mindfulness while on the table. For me I was able to deeply connect with the massage following her words. She also showed me some stretches that greatly helped my back release. I had called earlier in the day and was happy to get a same day visit. When I asked for a bouncy blowout he gave me a lot of resistance on how he couldn't achieve that without using a curling iron. I did not object. When he washed my hair, there was some soap left on my hair and I kindly told him that. He started yelling at me and insisted there wasn't any soap in my hair and that I lied about the length of my hair. I did not lie, and if I perceived my hair as medium and him as long, then it was simply a difference in opinion. He was very abusive and the price he quoted me was $85 which is insane, later he dropped it to $60. I have had my hair done all around the world and I have never had such a horrible experience. The hair turned out ok but the amount of pulling during the blowout hurt. I would never return and would give 0 stars if I could.
