We decided to meet a couple days later at the Olympic Sculpture Park (weather permitting). If the weather was not so great we were going to meet at her studio in West Seattle. The weather turned out to be great so we met at the Sculpture Park. She made the session very fun and relaxing. It was easy to smile for her. I generally do not like to have my picture taken at all, or rather, do not enjoy looking at pictures of myself. That is why I was so pleasantly surprised when she sent me the link of the photos from the session, which she sent the same day as the session. She had taken lots of great pictures! I got to pick which ones to keep and she retouched them and sent the final link to me (as well as the invoice) via e mail. I will definitely be using her again for any future photography needs I may have, and would highly recommend her to others. The whole process was so easy from scheduling the session to receiving the link for the photos and paying. The price is very reasonable as well!

I knew I had to go with her but can admit I had a lot of questions and needed what I imagine was more guidance than some clients throughout - but Kiersten was a DREAM to work with every step of the way! She was incredibly responsive and communicative. She responds quickly to emails, is genuinely open to questions/ideas/uncertainties, and really wants to understand what her clients are looking for to make sure everyone loves the final products. She listens, asks good questions (has a great and comprehensive form you fill out before the shoot!), encourages you to share what you're feeling or worried about or thinking and then works with you every step of the way. We even had to reschedule once due to weather and I was going to reach out to her but she emailed me first to check in and then easily helped me reschedule without any issues all in a very timely manner. She's also really put me at ease and is so affirming, patient, understanding and a joy to be around. I thought I'd feel self-conscious during the shoot but it was so fun and lighthearted and she brought such great energy and ideas that I knew I was in good hands. Finally, she truly goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure the experience/process are as enjoyable as the products/outcome. I know I was so particular in what I was looking for to the extent that small and subtle differences resonated a lot for me and she worked with me in a really personalized way. She just really wants you to love the photos no matter it takes and goes above and beyond in terms of listening, coming prepared, and and taking the time to cull, choose, edit your photos.
