Blush is such a cute and fun store! I always find unique pieces within my budget! They also have great sales racks!

Review update! This continues to be my favorite Blush Boutique location. Through and through. The fact I don't live in state (I live 4.75 hours away on a rainy day, 4.5 on a good day) and have managed to spend probably $2k at Blush since my first visit in June 2015, should say a lot. I have been to this one, the Gulch, and the Louisville location. That's also my order of preference (see my Louisville review for more info on why that location doesn't stack up). What sets this location apart: Parking is easy. It's next to a Target in a shopping strip. The store is laid out well. It does have a TON of merchandise, but associates seem to know where everything is. The merchandising itself is better. Instead of being Charming Charlie-Esque blocks of color, things are mixed and matched. This makes sense. People don't wear blocks of color. People wear style. I love the Blush brand pieces a lot. Some are better quality than others, yes. But things are usually priced accordingly. The staff at this store is attentive, conversational, but not in a way that is aggressive, phony feeling, or anything but organic coupled with just good customer service. They also don't make you feel like a kleptomaniac in the way they offer to start a room. Never once have they treated me like a suspected shoplifter... Which is great considering I have spent so much money. That may sound like a strange thing to say, but another location definitely did make me feel that way (and I was taken aback by it) The fitting rooms in this location are better. Better lighting. Instead of a random tiny dinky nail out a wall, there are plenty of hooks to hang stuff and even a spot to set a wallet down. Fabulous. They have their bralettes right by the fitting room if you need that. This location is legit the best. Never had bad customer service. Oh and today she even asked if I was a Blush Loyalty person. Most of the time they don't since I am from out of town... and I didn't realize the couple of times people have asked for my phone number that's why... So apparently from the times it was asked, I have earned a $25 gift card from the amount spent those times I was asked. Not too shabby read more

Blush has great selection of clothing items & trendy accessories! The employees have great customer service -- they greet you, give you style advice if you ask, and take items back to the dressing room while you continue to shop. I was also informed that their inventory is always changing, which brings me back on a regular basis! The prices are good -- On several occasions I've spotted my purchases online or at other boutiques for $10-$20 more than what I paid at Blush. To sum it all up: trendy clothing, great high quality brands, good prices and customer service! read more

Blush is a cute boutique that sells women's clothes, jewelry, shoes, boots, candles, facial scrubs, accessories, etc. It's not huge, but it has a great selection of affordable and chic clothing and more. I've been in a few times since moving to Nashville (a friend told me about Blush in my first month here), and there's always something I want to try on and take home! It's also great for gifts! I needed a birthday gift for that friend that told me about Blush and, of course, Blush was the only store I considered browsing for her gift. I found a cool necklace and a beautiful, soft scarf (hey, it's ALMOST fall, right, Nashville?)! She loved it! Definitely a boutique I frequent and recommend! read more

I'm from Los Angeles, and I happened to be in town for a friend's wedding. I didn't have a chance to get a dress before I left, so when I got to TN I relied on my fellow yelpers to lead me in the right direction. And they totally did. All the merchandise at Blush was super cute, totally in style and very affordable. I got an amazing dress, shoes and a locally handmade headband and I think I spent like $150, if that? The girls were very helpful and nice. My only complaint is they didn't have my size shoe in the pair I wanted, not really a big deal at all. I still bought the damn shoes, they were so cute! Long story short, next time I'm in the area I will definitely make a shop stop at Blush. read more

Oh, hey! That is a really cute dress. Goes into the dressing room, my dress is a shirt on me. Alas, this store is not my favorite place to search for casual dresses because of my height. However, the accessories at Blush are modern, super cute and afordable. I even like how they stock local designers. It is always great to have an option to support local artists outside of festivals and such. This place is on my list for cute gifts for my mini friends! read more

Most of these reviews are spot on. Trendy, reasonably priced stuff that may only last a few seasons. It's all very cute but I agree with another reviewer that everything is so short--and I'm 5'6 and size small so nothing outrageous! Recently I had a disappointing experience at the Blush in Brentwood. I had a gift card from 2010 (yes, 5 years ago!) and asked if it would be accepted. Obviously in doing so I understood that there was a possibility that it wouldn't be; however, there was NO expiration date on the card. I believe that for this reason my gift card should have been honored--it almost seems an issue of legality and policy because nothing is clearly stated on the card. The woman helping me was not too friendly or sorry about it either, though I appreciated her contacting higher ups before denying my request. When she came back with the news I promptly put back the cute top I had every intention of purchasing and left the store. My thing is, it never hurts to provide great customer service. What I got at Blush was not great customer service. More than anything else I am disappointed and sad. They got $20 in their pocket a few years ago when my friend purchased the gift card, and I got nothing. I left unhappy (though not angry, just a little peeved) and with no intention of returning to buy clothes I could find elsewhere. What I would have liked to have seen was either A) a friendly sales person willing to honor a gift card that was poorly made on their part with no expiration date or B) a friendly sales person who was equally as apologetic and offered an alternative. Sometimes in retail you lose a few dollars by providing good customer service. It shouldn't have been me that lost out. Wish Blush understood that concept. edit: I was contacted yesterday by the owner of Blush. I was too quick to judge a business by one experience with one employee! He very kindly offered to mend the situation for me and I appreciate his acknowledgement and offer. You definitely have to be in the right mood to go boutique shopping and after a stressful day today I was in need of retail therapy. Even though I don't always find things I like...somehow my friend and I always find ourselves back here, hoping we will find something we like. The pricing is reasonable but not always worth it. Some things are in the $30 range and others up to $100. Some of the quality of the pieces are worth the price and others not so much. It's a "hit or miss" store but when you get "hit" it's well worth it :) It's the kind of place where you just have to try stuff on. Some of the pieces are straight from the designers it seems, rather than nation-wide/world-wide brands that mass produce therefore some pieces hug or are loose in places you wouldn't expect. I do like how the racks of clothing are organized by color it makes it a lot easier to shop. For example, I CANNOT pull off yellow with my skin tone and I could just skip that rack instead of sift through a rack of mismatch shades. Con: You won't always have a successful visit. Lately, I have many visits where I come out with nothing. I sift through every rack and many things are either tacky, not good quality, overly embellished, or too pricey for the piece. I really liked this boutique last summer but slowly my opinion of the place is dropping. What they have: most of the clothing is dresses, some tops, and few bottoms. I love going to Blush. Their wall of basics is every girl's dream: endless arrays of camis, tank tops, leggings, bandeaus, etc. in a rainbow of different colors and shades. Layering is a staple in my wardrobe, so I love knowing that if I need to find something to complete an outfit, I can probably find it in the wall of basics at Blush. I've bought a few dresses from Blush, and I always get compliments when I wear them, which helps me know that my investment in the clothing was worth it. Nothing in the store is shockingly expensive, like at most other boutiques, so that's a definite plus for broke college kids like me! read more

Wow, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I went in right after they opened, and knew it was going to be one of my favorites. In the time since they have made their debut, the selection has improved--more shoes, skirts, boots, tank tops, and somewhat more casual dresses. Their selection changes weekly, so if you're browsing you might want to do it kind of often. I've bought a number of high quality dresses there (BCBG, Laundry, and others) as well as heels and boots. They have always been kind to me, and super helpful with style advice and choices. If you have to go dress shopping alone this is the place to do it. They'll make up for any friendly (or even blunt) advice your mom would give you. read more

I visit Blush every time I am in town. I have splurged on many a $100 dress here, but I love knowing that what I am wearing is both well-made and unlikely to be seen on anyone else. Also, sales are kick-ass. I have found amazing bargains (to balance out my splurges). I love love LOVE Blush. Love, And for a unique boutique they have a LOT of merchandise. You'll never see other people around town wearing the same things and on top of that they get new shipment in every day so it's always new and exciting things to look through!!! Blush is a really cute boutique. As with most boutiques prices are marked up on clothes that you know are not high quality. When they have a sale the clothes are actually the price I think that they should be. The staff is really nice and I always enjoy my time in the store. It's small so I like that they let you wander around and don't follow you around while you're in the store. I always go for the sales so I will continue to go in for quick outfit finishers. read more

Not happy with this place! My 22 yr old went in to buy something with the gift card I bought her.One of the sales people came up to her and said"I'm sorry when there's an empty hanger we have to look in your bag".My daughter was stunned.This is not acceptable at all.Not only was she innocent she happens to be a frequent shopper here and at the West End location. read more

I just had an absolutely terrible experience here. I am a REPEAT customer of Blush and recently purchased a necklace there that ended up not working for what I needed. I purchased it on 9/29, and brought it back on 10/18 hoping to EXCHANGE it for a different one. They have always had a good jewelry selection, and as I said before, I shopped there often. When I brought the necklace back today I was informed of their 10-DAY return policy. I explained that I was unaware of the 10-day policy and had assumed it was 30 since that is what most places are. I asked if I could simply exchange the necklace for a different one and was told NO. I asked to speak to the manager and was told by the woman helping me that she IS the manager. When I tried to reason with her and explained that I shop there she became EXTREMELY RUDE and even turned away from me as I was talking. She then snapped and said that I was FAR BEYOND the 10-day policy and said "IT IS WHAT IT IS." Needless to say I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. Not only was I treated rudely, but also shown absolutely no respect or appreciation for my repeat patronage. read more

On 9/1/10 I visited the Blush in Brentwood. I walked in and a salesperson walked right pass me. She did not speak, welcome me or anything. I continued to look around the store. After about 10min I received no formal or informal greeting from the two employees who worked there. There were other people in the store who had been greeted, but not me. Giving the two employees who were working that night benefit of a doubt, walked closer to the check out area, thinking maybe they didn't see me or were busy helping other customers. The last group of customers left the store and I was the only person in the store and yet again I was still looked over and not greeted, helped or even got a smile. I have a low tolerance for poor Customer Service. When patronizing a business I believe that everyone should feel welcome and visible. I won't be back. read more

I have went into Blush a couple of times and love the clothes.... however EVERYTIME I go in for some reason the girls ACT like they want to be nice but never say anything.. there was a girl upfront folding clothes and I walked in and she didnt say a word.. I tried on some shoes that I LOVED! Planned on getting them... yet I walked over to her and STARTED to ask her if they kept other sizes in the back she rudely cut me off and say no we have no extra sizes in the clothes as she kept folding and didnt even look up at me to see what I was talking about.. so when she did I looked at her with a firm look and said I am sorry I was speaking of the shoes... she said we can call another store... very ADD if you know what I mean... I want the shoes so bad but just decided NOPE cant give business to women who treat others that way. read more

I stopped in merely out of curiosity b/c I am always in & out of Target. The shops before this had always been out of my price rage but I had a big event that night & was getting desperate. I ended up finding a killer dress & an awesome pair of shoes for less than $100. It felt great to know that I was not going to run into anyone else in my outfit that night. I received so many compliments from everyone that night. For someone who goes out as much as me, it is great to know I can find something unique there for a pretty reasonable price. I went to Blush for the first time today after hearing good reviews. I was impressed with the selection of shoes and the clothes seemed good too. I did not try any clothing on but purchased a pair of Coach Charley heels for $87.00. They did not appear to be used but was not for sure. I will be back periodically as the salesgirl stated that they get new shipments in everyday that the mail runs. Good place and I will be back. I would say the price is moderate depending on what you are looking for. They did have a nice selection of evening gowns. read more

This is one of my all time favorite boutiques. I admit sometimes it's kind of hit or miss, but they get new inventory in daily, so it's all good. Some of my favorite pieces - including two jumpsuits - have come from here. Don't skip the sales rack either. I got a $130 BCBG for around $40 once. Staff is super friendly and helpful. read more

Hate to write a bad review but I work in retail myself. I go to this store every other month and I always find something to my liking. I took myself and 3 girlfriends into the store last weekend and we all bought stuff. I ended up buying a 2 dresses, one top, leggings, and earrings all to match. Much to my disappointment, when I finally got around to wearing the dress, I discovered a rip down the middle of the dress. Tags are still attached I took it back into the store within the 10 day return period and I asked to find another one. The girl, is like " and you bought it that way?" I'm thinking, What do u mean? If I ripped it, I would've owned up to it. I really never saw the rip, swear to GOD. The other girl, called another store and even sent a pic to see if they had another one. She tells me later they do not. I am disappointed but I understand and continue to look for something else. As I am about to go into the fitting room to try more stuff AND possible spend more money....the girl tells me: Maam we can't return this because it was on sale when you bought it. Now, first of all, I'm shocked because they were going to return it at first. and then sometime between me shopping and coming in, they changed their minds. So I respond with, I was never told that sale merchandise is final sale. And also, it was damaged when I purchased it obviously." The girl, pulls the I'm just an associate, I can't make that decision" card. So I, being in retail management for over a decade, decide to get the managers name and number, and I leave the dress there. I tell the girl, I would have loved to just get the same dress, being that I bought all the other items to match. She still doesn't allow me to do a simple exchange. I can't believe that these girls would let more money walk right out of the store. I had 4 things in my hand that I was going to try on. After being told I couldn't do an exchange within the 10 day return period, I was shocked. I hope that I hear from the manger soon, and I hope she makes the right decision. "The customer is always right", I have worked by this belief all my career and I have gained a huge clientele base due to it. Such a shame, when I finally decide to return something that was obviously damaged, I get burned. Did I mention the dress was under $30.00 and I had over $200.00 worth of try-ons that were possible for purchase. Seems like a no brain er to me? read more
