I had to let them grow out , and let her reshape my eyebrows. I can literally leave my house with drawing on my eyebrows at this point. I personally get my eyebrows threaded. I love this place. I suffered from mask acne and had a couple of acne cysts on my chin. Heena did an assessment of my skin and we decided to go with a microdermabrasian facial which I have never gotten before and am a big fan of now. The effects were immediate. Some of my scars became instantly lighter, pores clean and tight, face aglow. The cyst took some time and some inflammation was expected but it's the morning after now and almost no swelling. This far exceeded my expectations. And Heena is really sweet. I asked her if she thought this is something that I should continue to do every month and she was honest and said she didn't think I needed to. But I will anyway because the overall experience was a 5/5 - super relaxing, gentle, customized, and all of the products that she uses feel and smell so good. read more

really enjoyed my facial here!!! I made an appointment for a deep cleaning facial at 6:15 pm so I was the last customer of the day. Initially, the facial was only supposed to last 35-40 mins, but since I was the last customer, Heena went above & beyond on my dirty face & she spent around 1-1.15 hour on my facial. This facial was so awesome! she first used some organic oil to get the makeup off my face & that felt so relaxing! then she used a steamer to open my pores to get it ready for the extraction. the extraction does hurt a little since it's sucking all the gunk off! even though it did hurt, Heena was very gentle! after, she gave me a mint mask to cool off & finished the facial with moisturizers, eye cream & other goodness! love that she uses high-end organic products! I've been researching for places for a facial in the tri-valley area, and most of them started at $80. At blush, it was only $50 for the deep cleaning facial & it's so worth since my skin felt so clean & soft afterward!! Heena is so genuine & attentive, she noticed that I have a bug bite on my face & suggested that I use warm compression to get rid of it. Hidden gem alert! So glad I found Heena through Yelp. I had been going to KiKi's Brows for 2 years (they're great, don't get me wrong) but I want to grow my eyebrows thicker. KiKi's are good at thin brows but I wasn't satisfied with how they let them grow in. HEENA IS A MASTER IN ALL BROW SIZES!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when she handed me the mirror. I happened to need some threading love last minute and was in town. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile. I came in and asked if they took walk ins.. they were. I waited probably 15 minutes before I was able to grab a seat in their chair. I asked for the eyebrow and upper lip combo, in which is a special price rather than doing them at separate times. I think it was $14. Upon sitting, the seat was never brought up so.. yeah, I basically laid down in discomfort and hoping my back would slam against the seat. Very odd to me. There's 2 customer seats.. that's it. And about 4 waiting seats. Anywho.. I went on with my threading and was loving how gentle the thread actually felt. I was surprised. Then she went onto my left eyebrow, I felt some discomfort and that was unlike any other (and I've threaded many.. I mean many, times before) and thought nothing of it. I also disliked how the middle part of my eyebrows weren't even touched! Only the top and bottom or my arches, trimmed with scissors as well. The next day, I had about 4-5 small scabby areas and Immediately knew she took off my skin.. and not just the hair. I'm kinda disappointed bc I wanted a place much closer to me for threading but I guess not. I did find some stand-of fish demeanor from the owner, when I nicely asked if I could call and make an appointment if needed and she kinda rudely answered with an un-comforting tone in her voice. read more

Located in the corner of a dilapidated "L" shaped shopping center in the suburbs, between Little Caesars and Khyber Pass Kabob. Closer to the end anchored by Los Pericos. A vagrant was sitting on the benches outside the pizza place but didn't bother passers-by. Lots of parking. I was about 5 minutes late because the light at Village Parkway and Amador Valley Blvd. must be the longest light in the city. Heena was with another patron but I only had to wait a few minutes until it was my turn. The threading was painless and Heena was patient. She is a genius with thread. At a previous visit to another establishment, they chopped off the end of 1 brow. Heena was able to finesse and even out my brows. She cleaned up the stray hairs and got rid of the incipient unibrow. She redefined and gave me back my natural arch. Since Heena seems to be the sole employee, services are by appointment only. This may therefore take some planning but I will definitely be back. read more

TL;DR: I felt comfortable in Heena's care and can confidently recommend her services and her business. Long version: Simply WOW! I'm very grateful to all the other Yelpers who offered great reviews about this place. It's truly a gem. When first meeting Heena, she was kind and understanding of me being a few minutes late. I'm not usually behind but today, I was out of my element and apologized for keeping her waiting. I left her a message when I knew I was delayed and she responded with a confirmation. What I've learned all these years is: when you're responsive to your customers, they keep coming back! I told Heena that I needed my eyebrows threaded (or redone) and I wanted an organic facial. For context, I don't usually get facials. I maybe go once or twice a year depending on the need/occasion but as I've gotten older, I realize skin care is very essential to keeping yourself healthy. Heena immediately saw that I had "pregnancy mask" even though I never told her I had my baby 8 months ago! She also saw the redness, dry patches, and oily areas that she could treat. I really didn't have to explain much about my face. She really knew her stuff! Heena reshaped my eyebrows to be more even. My last place, although cheap and quick, doesn't take much care into doing a good job anymore. It's a shame because I've been a customer there for 4 years now and there's no excuse. Heena did a microdermabrasion treatment on me. It was my first time and I didn't feel uncomfortable. She carefully went all over my face and explained how/why she went over areas repeatedly. I appreciated her verbal ques to let me know and keep my experience a very happy and healthy one! My organic facial experience was fantastic. Eyebrow magic! I managed to get an appointment today after my eyebrows grew into full chewbaccas and I couldn't ignore them any longer. I was trying to grow them out since they seemed to somehow have gotten thinner but I didn't keep them in check. Decided to call and see if I could an appointment today and thankfully someone didn't show so I did! The place is very clean and bright. She explained to me that I needed to let one side grow since it had less hair than the other side. She sculpted my eyebrows and was very attentive to what was appropriate to thread. If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Heena is honestly a magician. She explained there's no "one set facial." She analyzes the client's skin and gives them the treatment they need instead of providing a one size fits all facial. My skin was the worst it ever was with eczema, rosacea, breakouts, and extreme dryness. She used all organic and soothing products on my skin. As she did my facial, she literally FELT all my skin issues and told me what they were. She is extremely knowledgeable in skincare and gave me amazing life-changing advice on how to improve my skin. She also suggested microdermabrasion which was only $5 extra with my facial (which is INSANE because they're usually $100+). After my facial, my face was GLOWING even weeks after it still looked great. I even got COMPLIMENTS on my skin for once. I also got my eyebrows threaded by Heena and they have NEVER looked this good. Found this place on yelp since I was looking to get my eyebrows done. This place is actually hidden between khyber pass and sky Martial arts. Since its like a 3 minute drive from my house, I decided to give this place a shot. I decided to get my eyebrows threaded for the FIRST TIME and all I can say is Heeta is amazing!! She explained how threading works and did a demo on me to see if I was ok with the feeling. She also fixed my eyebrows (I previously had them waxed somewhere else and they messed them up) and told me what parts of my brows that needed to grow out, and what not to pluck since I have thin brows. I found her when I was living in Pleasanton, drove back here twice a month when I moved to Walnut Creek, and now that I've moved to San Jose I'm still going to be making the trip back here because no one can compare!
