Her strong working relationship with RBI was incredibly valuable throughout the planning process and made everything feel seamless. Since I'm not local to the San Diego area and didn't always have a clear vision of exactly what I wanted, Gina's recommendations and guidance were invaluable. Anytime I needed vendor suggestions, she immediately sent thoughtful recommendations, and whenever I wanted to dive deeper into details, she made it happen. We met in person multiple times leading up to the wedding weekend, and she helped bring all of the details together so beautifully. She knew when to ramp up our frequency of meetings and she also knew when to tell us to relax and not worry about stuff. We like that she comes with the aisle planner software and lets us access it. She provided a thorough checklist for us with indications of when an item on the list should be completed by. She was very accessible and we knew we could count on her to respond quickly even if our question was not urgent. As our florist in addition to our planner, she helped a lot with some last-minute florals that we wanted to do and made sure everything happened very smoothly. When we couldn't find any freshly squeezed juice near me Melissa was eager to help and make sure we had that by the time of the wedding. Everyone was impressed at how quickly the venue was able to transform between the different stages of the wedding and how knowledgeable Melissa was. We really appreciated about how Melissa joined us in our vendor meetings and kept in touch with them for us. We definitely would've gotten overwhelmed if we did not have Melissa.

She thought of every detail, from preparing us in advance to get those dreamy photos (like the first kiss and cake cutting) to ensuring everything ran on schedule without a hitch. On the day, Elena was a true lifesaver. From the rehearsal to the ceremony and reception, I never once had to worry about where I needed to be or what was next. She kept everything moving smoothly, pointing me in the right direction while allowing me to fully enjoy the company of our guests and the magic of the day. For one, I'm a project manager, so I was fairly confident in my abilities to manage this epic project, but needed someone to help me with the unknowns along the way & bring my vision to life on the big day. I remember sifting through dozens of Google search results trying to find someone who fit the bill, and I was frustrated that most planners seemed unauthentic, overpriced, and so 'not us'. Then I stumbled on Thomas and he was the opposite in the best way. I could tell he knew weddings intimately, he was passionate about event planning, and his pricing was actually listed on his website. One quick call to seal the deal & we knew he was our guy! Throughout the process, Thomas guided us on the best and most efficient way to do things. He shared what has & hasn't worked at past weddings, made sure we were getting through all the fundamental contracts at the right times, and checked in on us when we felt like our to-do lists were never going to end. On the day of, he rocked our world! He was everywhere at once, solving small challenges with a smile and delighting guests with every interaction. The whole experience was even better than we could have ever imagined, and you know we imagined it a lot! I cannot say enough amazing things about Thomas! We actually hired him twice since COVID happened and we had to postpone our original wedding, and we were so thankful to have someone helping us navigate those unknowns too. I'm so happy to say that we can look back at our wedding and just remember how thankful we are that we did so. A little info about me... I am an OCD perfectionist type of person, and when it came to planning our wedding- I would be stressed out about every little detail and our wedding timeline (the limited amount of hours we contracted with our venue was from 6 to 11 PM- we were worried that it was too short!). However, after meeting with Thomas and exchanging e-mails throughout the engagement, he eased the stress and definitely was there when we needed him. Thomas is professional, experienced, reliable, easy to reach, detail-oriented, organized, and just an awesome wedding coordinator. Thomas was there during important meetings/appointments. We went over details during our menu tasting with our venue and I remember my husband (fiancé at the time) mentioning how much he appreciated Thomas because he asked our venue questions that we did not even think of. We met again with Thomas about a month before the big day, and he helped us organize final details and our final timeline. Thomas gave us his advice and his opinions when we needed it. Thomas was at our rehearsal day on time and ran our rehearsal SO smoothly (mind you, I had a huge Filipino wedding; for the ceremony we had: 6 pairs of godparents, 2 grandparents, 2 ushers, 1 dog, 3 flowergirls, 2 ringbearers, 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, our parents, plus the groom and I. I don't know if that was his first ginormous bridal party, but if it was- oh my goodness, I don't know how he did it!) On the wedding day, Thomas and his assistant Olivia stopped by the Bridal Suite when I was getting my make-up done, said his hello's, and was off to do what he does best. I trusted them with everything and was NOT stressed out AT ALL on our wedding day! He would check up on my husband and I a few times throughout the evening to make sure we were at ease with everything, and we were... ALL BECAUSE OF HIM! Our friends and family even mentioned to us that Thomas is not only funny/friendly, but that he definitely knew what he was doing. Our wedding ran on schedule/time like we planned so! My husband and I were just so happy that everything ran smoothly and that our wedding turned out so beautiful. We are just pleased that everyone had a great time! DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THOMAS! Heather was wonderful from our very first call, and we appreciated having the flexibility to choose between partial or full planning. During our first in-person meeting, she helped us identify what mattered most in selecting our venue. We ultimately chose partial planning based on our venue, Kijamii Overlook at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and she found us incredible vendors to complete our day. As we got closer to the wedding, I couldn't have imagined how grateful I would be to have Heather to rely on. She kept us on track with every little detail and was always ready with a thoughtful opinion whenever we had questions. On the day of our wedding, Heather and Ava were absolutely fantastic! If you are planning to have a beach wedding, they were the perfect blend of month of coordination as well as planning and setup for the beach wedding. They are very organized and were able to give us a timeline with deadlines that kept us on track during the planning process. They also had good tips from their experiences with other weddings when we had questions. The micro packages are definitely more for couples who are ok with doing more active planning themselves, they give you suggestions of local vendors but the couple has to reach out to obtaining pricing and discuss specific details. They also do full service planning but we opted to do more things ourselves as we had fewer details to plan and fewer guests. It is very helpful for the day of coordination that they will have multiple coordinators to set up the ceremony site and the reception site which is often 2 different locations.

About a year out, we booked with Diana, the owner, who hopped on a couple of calls with us, shared a super helpful timeline template for when to get things done, and gave us a fantastic list of vendor recommendations. Then, two months before the wedding (not just a month out like most services), Diana and Robin (our on-site coordinator) got fully caught up on where we were, helped us tackle last-minute to-do's, reminded us of a few details we'd overlooked, and made sure every "t" was crossed and every "i" dotted. On our wedding weekend, Robin was simply amazing. She handled absolutely everything behind the scenes so we could stay present and enjoy the day. There were countless little things she did that we'll never forget, but the biggest takeaway is this: because of her, we had a stress-free wedding. Our guests and even our other vendors kept telling us it was one of the most fun weddings they'd ever attended. We are so grateful for Diana and Robin's expertise, warmth, and professionalism.
