    As someone who plans corporate events for a living, I had a particular vision in mind and really needed a day of coordinator. Add in the fact that my husband wanted to get married at his alma mater and the school had hosted ceremonies but never receptions. And the final oddity that our son (3) wanted one thing, a jumper at the reception into the mix of this unique wedding. I knew I needed someone who could take this on with a smile and say no problem. Then I found Linnie. She made sure all t's were crossed and i's were dotted and enabled me to actually enjoy an event I planned. I was able to handover my event book the week before and not worry at all. Having her meet with me 6 months prior for the venue walk through also gave me a few new vendors she had in her little black book, that I was missing. As finding vendors with the wedding boom was harder than I've seen in the past 15 years. Without Linnie I am not sure if our school-themed wedding with vintage decor and a jumper would of worked out. She and her 2 assistants made the day work amazingly!

    To sum it all up: Linnie and her A Hundred Hearts services was perfection! Our January 28th, 2023 wedding reception at Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach was executed beyond our wildest dreams! Service booked: Partial planning and day of coordination. My husband and I live in Washington and have planned most of our wedding long distance. As the months were getting closer to the big day, it started to become overwhelming to plan the logistics and the little details from a far. So, we started looking for planners that would fit our needs. I started researching for planners and remembered my cousin, Aileen who had a coordinator for her June 2022 wedding. A few days have passed after my initial thought, and I saw my cousin Aileen tagged one of her wedding photos with A Hundred Hearts tagged in it. I thought that was so wild that it came up to my feed when I just thought about it days prior. So, I started looking on A Hundreds Hearts services. With many hours of research and inquires, Linnie's services were exactly what we were looking for. Linnie was very professional and detailed oriented right from the start which provided us reassurance that our last bit of the planning will be in good hands. As I was planning, I had a lot of visual mockups and ideas, and Linnie knew and understood my perspective. I appreciated her professional feedback as she has many years behind her in this field. Her online wedding planner saved us from so many Google Docs and spreadsheets! All the logistics, budget, guest list, timeline, to the floor plan of the venue was all in one platform. That service made it easier for us to communicate with her and her input of the day of. The day of the wedding, I knew that Linnie was going to do a good job that I didn't have to think or worry about the reception, at all. From our initial meeting in November to the day of the wedding, I had full trust that we were going to be taken care of. The communication of Linnie was beyond my expectation, and I can tell she really takes pride in ensuring that everything on the day of the wedding will be perfect. And it was! Our wedding flow, design and the work with the numerous vendors was spot on and seamlessly incredible. I would highly recommend Linnie and her team! -Marie & Nigell

I booked her early and we initially just did a couple meetings to discuss our vision and needs regarding coordination, vendor contracts and florals since we did not need a full-planning service, only partial. She was always upfront and gave me honest opinions especially when it came to where to splurge and save, and what could look good and what wouldn't. The last 2 months is where she really shined, helping us follow up with vendors on details, setting deadlines for me to book rentals, reviewing contracts and constantly doing sanity checks when I needed it. The day of, she came extremely prepared, everything flowed smoothly (except some technical issues on part of the venue) and she was great at going with the flow and just letting the vibe and natural mood of the day go, and fixing whatever problems I threw at her. We also had her as our florist and she truly out did herself- her prices were incredibly reasonable and she handled everything like a champ when her assistant got sick the day of the reception. I overheard him speaking to another vendor at the wedding saying that "the black violinist wouldn't have been a good fit. She probably isn't even professional and her hair is far from professional. I was in the email chain with the first musician, and he never contacted the violinist when she tried to reach out to him regarding a timeline and COI and did not provide the information she needed so that the musician could do the job she was hired for. He lied and said he sent emails to her when he never did and Jaime used his inability to contact the first violinist as a means to lie to the bride and groom and convince them that the first violinist the family personally chose for their wedding day was unprofessional. Instead of taking accountability for his lack of communication and lack of professionalism to work with different races and cultures, just because he had a racial bias against her, he made up stories about her and degraded her based off the color of her skin. I will never work with Jaime Soto again.
