As someone who plans corporate events for a living, I had a particular vision in mind and really needed a day of coordinator. Add in the fact that my husband wanted to get married at his alma mater and the school had hosted ceremonies but never receptions. Service booked: Partial planning and day of coordination. My husband and I live in Washington and have planned most of our wedding long distance. As the months were getting closer to the big day, it started to become overwhelming to plan the logistics and the little details from a far. She set us up with an online wedding planning system that kept everything organized from the guests names, seating chart, to vendors, contacts, and a major checklist for everything and any kind of wedding! When it came to the day before the wedding and before the church rehearsal, she even helped set up some of our DIY decor since our reception venue was open for us to bring in some things early. Linnie from A Hundred Hearts was absolutely amazing to work with. We booked her for our wedding in Oct 2022, and we booked the day-of coordination package. She did so much more than help on the day of; she had two long meetings with us ahead of time to run through details and timeline, and two weeks leading up to the wedding, she coordinated with all of the vendors on timelines, when they would be arriving, and where they would need to set up. Linnie organized every single little detail that we would not have otherwise even thought of, like thinking of where the photobooth should be placed depending on where the sun hits, giving us a private break before the grand entrance, printing timelines/vows/script for our officiant just in case our copies got lost, making sure we always had drinks/food at the reception, etc. The day would absolutely not have gone as smoothly if it weren't for Linnie. I remember when we first met with Linnie about a year out from our wedding day. We weren't completely sure what we were looking for, but we knew we needed a day-of coordinator to help us execute our wedding day plans. During our consultation, Linnie gave us a breakdown of the services she would provide us, which was very comprehensive for day-of services and very decently priced! Coupled with her bubbly personality and her love of Game of Thrones (which was our wedding theme!), we knew we had to have Linnie as our coordinator. Fast forward to our wedding day - Linnie and her assistant were simply amazing. Both of our venues (church and reception) were beautifully set up exactly how we wanted them, and they handled any hiccups without us having to stress at all. Linnie was NOT supposed to be our coordinator. Unfortunately, the coordinator who was recommended to us was not available on our wedding day, so she recommended Linnie. With that said, we are so happy with how everything played out. What separates Linnie from other wedding planners is her ability to personally connect with you outside of all the wedding craziness. When I first met Linnie, the first thing I noticed on her laptop was her *Nsync CD wrapper sticker (cause everyone who grew up in the 90s save that lol). This immediately gave me a sign that she was going to be great because I was a huge fan myself. When she shared that her favorite Nsync was Lance Bass, I almost died! No one ever understands why we love Lance, but we do! This was the ultimate sign that I just HAD to get her as my wedding planner. Linnie was my day-of coordinator (09/24/16), but she never made it feel that way. Throughout the months, she always checked in on us and met with us to go over details and preparations. She was always prepared with questions we didn't even think we had. And despite our wedding being simple, she never judged and questioned our decisions. She was always there to encourage. The day of our rehearsal happen to be 2 days before our wedding and we completely forgot to update her. She was scheduled to be in Oregon, but she changed her flight back home to make it on time to our rehearsal. It means so much that she prioritized us. On the day of the wedding, I had already given the dj my list of songs, but since Linnie was so good with learning about our likes, she was able to slip in a list of 90s pop (YES NSYNC) during our dance time and I am so happy she did. Our wedding was very custom and DIY, which made finding a wedding coordinator somewhat of a challenge. We were very lucky to have Linnie coordinate our 120 person wedding in Fallbrook, CA. She was incredibly flexible with our very unique touches to the wedding including having automatic recordings in place of a DJ, having a paper mobile for guests to find their seat instead of a poster. She was incredibly organized - making sure everyone in the family knew where they had to be and at what time. She was also so thoughtful and made a last minute beautiful arrangement on our sweetheart table after our Dr & Dr signs fell down. We also had several obstacles that she very gracefully dealt with - helping guests find their seat, re-arranging our timeline when food couldn't be served right away because we lost power for a time, making sure we got certain pictures that we had before our photographers and videographers left for the night. She was also so sweet and kind to not just us but our entire family, which we really appreciated. As a cute touch, she even went the extra mile and painted her nails the colors of the wedding!
