when you sign in you get the option for a dip French manicure for $57 but when you check out you are charged separately $42 for dip and $20 for gel french polish and then they will tell you because that's how they have to do it? then why is the $57 even an option? my nails are way too thick with dip powder and I didn't even get the manicure for my cuticles. horrible $58 pedicure that only got my heels scrubbed and nails trimmed, again-no cuticle clean up or any attention paid to the sides of your big toe nail. This place is pretty and they are nice until you ask a question or raise concern. Not worth coming here what so ever! Waste of $130! read more

THEY GAVE ME A FUCKING INFECTION. I asked them not to cut my big toe and she proceeded to do it. I told her she made me bleed and she told me she was cutting an "ingrown toe nail"... Number one, i NEVER had an ingrown toe nail.. My nail isn't SQUARE and she tried to cut it into a square shape. Number two, ITS ILLEGAL FOR A SALON TO CUT OUT A INGROWN TOENAIL!!!!! I showed the nail tech a clear reference photo of the exact cat-eye style I wanted. What I got was nothing like it. The cat-eye effect was almost invisible, and several nails had a visible gap between the gel and my natural nail. When I pointed out the uneven application--especially on my thumbs...the excuse was "because your nails are bigger." That's ridiculous. Even if my nails are big, the gel shouldn't be so thin that my natural nail shows through. My index finger wasn't even fully covered with gel, leaving part of the nail bed exposed...completely unprofessional and gross, because dirt can get stuck between the gel and my nail. On top of that, my index and pinky nails are visibly crooked, and the gold line design on my ring finger looks nothing like the reference photo. This was a sloppy, careless job and a total waste of money. read more

Really nice new nail place in St. Matthews near Big Lots. This is in the Gallerias strip mall -- the one that had the roof collapse several years ago. This has been rebuilt and is so fresh and nice! I have been to nearly every nail salon in Louisville, and this is by far the best! The staff actually cares about their customers. They always greet me by name and do exactly what I ask for, even when I bring in crazy designs. The pricing is reasonable for the quality, and the wait, when there is one, isn't bad. The people complaining are just in too much of a rush. I highly recommend the original store, but their new location is also fantastic. read more

You know how this goes. These places are all the same. You frequent them long enough, it'll eventually be your time in the barrel. Today was mine. 1. Booked online with "Jack" for an 11:30 spot 2. Arrived ten minutes before my designated time 3. Seated at a station 11:35--not Jack's 4. Jack is busy with another customer. Walk-in? Who knows? 5. Owner, Miki, files my nails a bit and puts a bowl of acetone on the table for my soak off. 30 minutes later. No Jack. Ope. Jack is now busy with someone else. A more expensive service? Gluing dildoes on the Zoomers' nails? Again, who knows? 6. Have to ask the tech at the next table if I can take my hands out of the acetone, from which my nails have now turned to rubber. She says, "Yes. You've been in there a while." 7. 12:15 now. "Bob" (the very same Bob who I've seen wandering around the place for about 30 minutes, in and out of the back room) now sits down at my table. Drag-asses about a simple manicure and gel polish change. 8. 12:35, out the door with ruined nails and an hour lost. I'm an excellent client. No drama. Just do what I ask, and I'll sit there quietly--and tip you well. Go ahead. Book if you want. Likely, someone else will turn your nails to rubber and waste your time. I discovered this new nail salon yesterday. They just opened 3 weeks ago. They prefer appointments but also accept walk ins. I had a Sport pedicure which is extra moisturizing. The staff are extremely friendly and personable. And I love my pedicure. I was find they will have seasonal themes too like Pumpkin spice for fall. Fun. Great atmosphere. I'll be back. read more

I recently moved and had to find a new nail salon. This place had great reviews and was close by work soo I thought I'd check it out on my lunch hour. I called to make a appointment and was told they just do walk ins. While I was there waiting to be seen... several people with ''appointments'' walked in. Confused. I asked for pink gel and wanted to add chrome on top... The technician said they can't do chrome on toenails. I got home and googled it and of course - there is no reason you can't have it on your toenails. I assume he just didn't want to do it and I didn't push. The guy next to him even gave him a look after he said all this. Ended up leaving with polish all around my big toe. TLDR: Wait times are crazy BUT they are usually very good at what they do. Unless you have 40+ minutes to wait, find somewhere else. read more

Got a new set of nails here. They were beautifully done! But 2 days later one of them popped off suddenly, which was pretty disappointing. I got some nail glue and glued it back on. Everything was fine. Then the following night another nail popped off when I was in the shower. I've never had this happen before, but I paid too much money and time to sit and have my nails done for them to start popping off within 3 days. I'm wondering if they need to invest in a better nail glue product for the Gel X nails. read more

I went there about 6 weeks ago for a pedicure and medicure. I made an appointment with Diana and today I called to make another appointment and the lady that answered the phone was very rude! I asked to speak with her and she said she was with a customer. I understand that she was with a customer but the lady never offered to take my name and number and let her call me back.
