The manager wouldn't even attempt to verify the funds how a bank can unless they suspect fraud which they had zero reason to assume and hold the funds without trying to verify first. I am now being told I can't access the money for over a week when other banks have no issues verifying the check for you and giving you access to your own money. Would not recommend coming here if you need a larger amount of money as they don't give you access to it if needed. Teller was extremely sweet, manager not so much as she didn't even try to verify my check so I can access it without waiting over a week. She was too busy judging instead of doing her job to verify the money customers should have access to when needed.

I met Gill during a visit while attending Dads account and he helped me start my own CD at an exceptionally good rate at that time. He actually remembered my Dad. After she answered the first question, I unexpectedly started telling her about difficulties I was having with some trust documents and she asked me if I had ever come in to see their lawyer Nick. I hadn't but made an appointment to see him on Wednesday, the only day he is here, even though from what she described as his services, I wasn't sure he would be able to help. Was I surprised and ever so pleased that after a little detective work, Nick and Mandy were able to resolve my problem!! A week later I also benefited from Amy's Notary services and advice. I opened a teen account for my son years back and when it came time to close the account, they kept refusing. I went inside in person because I assumed there was some sort of miscommunication and they still refused to let me close the account. I took out all the money and they said they wanted to keep it open "in case he ever changed his mind". I had been there for over an hour and had tried multiple times to close it online and I just couldn't waste any more time. I honestly should have reported them for fraud at that time but I still had another account there. Looking back, it was probably a part of the fake-accounts scandal they were found guilty of. Another time I was having an issue with my account, I went in to talk to someone and the only reason I am not giving one star was that they were prioritizing non-english speaking customers, meaning that although I was waiting first, they took another woman before me because she did not speak English and the agent that opened up was bilingual. I am not complaining about that, I actually thought that was very thoughtful and that's why they get an extra star. Overall this is definitely a 1 star bank but at least this branch cares about vulnerable customers. I recently got a credit card from this location and I have had it less than a month but they freeze my card after every two transactions so I just cancelled the card but it was a nightmare. Junk fees are fees related to the banks service fees and similar illegal fees. California leads the industry's watchdogs.
