As a lifelong fan of the beautiful game and native Angeleno, I have been waiting for a stadium like this to bless our incredible city for years. Yeah, we have the Galaxy, but let's face it, Carson is a bit out of the way. The stadium, team, and fan alliance really found a way to unite LA soccer and kick it into the next level. Gooool! Let me start by saying that there aren't any bad seats in the venue. It's perfect for soccer. Small enough to make you feel like you're on the pitch, yet large enough to feel like you're one with the fans. Everything was brilliant! Take the Metro, cheer along with fans, and enjoy the entire experience. The food is insane: Bludso's, Beer Belly, Seoul Sausage, Chica's Tacos, The Roost, etc. If you can't find something to eat here, well then, you deserve to go hungry. On that, the women's restrooms lines were shorter than the men's. When does that ever happen? Best of all, the atmosphere was electric. The 3253 really kept the stadium alive. DO NOT park here. They charged us $50 for PARKING on a $25 game ticket. We saw $35 parking nearby and thought it was insane--just take it at that point, or park somewhere else and walk. Plus, the food inside is extremely overpriced (expected) and mediocre quality at best. And don't even bother trying to bring in a SMALL bag--even if you think it's in the guidelines, they won't let you and will charge you another $10 to store it. So greedy. read more

Please stop booking concerts here. The streets and parking cannot support. It took 1.5 hours to find parking and missed part of the concert. At the start time for the concert the only available parking was people charging to park in their driveways. Don't host if you can't support people arriving to see the concert. It's now 2 hours into the concert and there is still a line of cars attempting to find parking. On top of that once you finally find parking the lines are just a mosh pit of people trying to get in with no coordination from the security, they just sat at the metal detectors and yelled at people. Places like this make me not want to come to LA. read more

We scored tickets for a LAFC game...while I was excited to experience this new stadium, I was surprised at the size and seating offered. The seats were pretty flimsy plastic, but at least had great views. I guess I was expecting a bigger stadium, but this little place is nestled right in the heart of downtown. We took the metro since parking is not exactly friendly and pretty costly. I don't understand how you build an entire stadium and not take into account parking. Moving on...food was great, expect stadium prices but at least you are getting good quality eats. We had the rotisserie chicken which we both enjoyed. I wish we could have picked out a different side because the roasted potatoes, onion and corn were pretty plain. They had tons of beer and wine options on the main stadium level but you had to go upstairs to get real booze. Definitely go with the double option for the small up-charge. I really like the stadium for LAFC games! THE AMBIANCE: Clean, large, crowded, and great location. THE PICNIC AREA: One time, we arrived early to "beer-gate" before the game on the lawn next to the stadium. A lot of people were out there hanging out, kicking a soccer ball around, and drinking/eating. It was nice. THE FOOD: The nachos and the micheladas are on point!! THE GIFT STORE: When it gets crowded, you have to wait in line outside the store. THE TIPS: Ride share! Lyft has a pick up location inside the stadium, and for Uber we walk across the street and get picked up at the gas station. There will be traffic, but always better than a DUI. read more

My 1st time here was a couple of weeks ago, we saw The Killers (amazing convert by the way) My reason for deducting 2 stars are the following: 1. They ran out of parking, yes I showed up late so it's partially my fault. But the reason I was upset is because as I walked through the parking lot (after paying to park in some dirt lot) I noticed several charging stations for your car and I have a Tesla. I should've been offered a spot. Our car was literally the one the parking ppl told, "we're full," after waiting about 40mins in the street trying to get into the lot. Only 1 car was charging and they had many spots open. 2. When we got inside and heading to our seats. There was no one checking your tickets to make sure your seated in the right area. Come to find out, these 2 people were in our seats. My husband had to tell them to move (which at 1st they refused, until I flashed my phone at them! So the fact that we had to have that confrontation sucked. We went to have a good time. Shortly after the other two people on the left side left too. They probably stole those seats as well. I guess I'm used to Staples Center service. Besides that, I loved the open space, great breezes flowing through. I suffer from anxiety and having an open space really helped me enjoy my night. The lines for drinks weren't bad either, no complaints. Clean bathrooms were a plus. Oh and I got lost trying to find the main entrance, there were several lines on different sides of thr buildings so that threw me off. read more

Overall a decent arena. Went to the Swedish House Mafia concert. Usually I get mosh pit but for the first time decided to do seats in case I get tired. Mosh pit looked pretty fun. Only thing to note is that it did rain during the concert and it is a rain or shine event. I was very happy we got the seated seats because where we were sitting it was covered by the overhang but in the mosh pit etc the people got soaked. Just some things to note about. I chose not to park in the stadium lot parking. There is plenty of free street parking in the surrounding streets. You just need to find an area that isn't too "sus" but it wasn't hard. Luckily it's around the USC area so there are a lot of places that seem okay with college students around. Venue Bathrooms were decently clean for concert restrooms. My seats had a good view of the concert. Overall a decent theater to come to. Swedish House Mafia changed the set times to earlier because of the rain so my only complaint was that the concert started earlier which meant having to drive in over an hr and half traffic in peak rush hr. If it weren't for that things probably would've been a lot more relaxed and smooth. But it was worth it, the concert was great and well executed! Swedish House Mafia was awesome! read more

I've been going to concerts all over the country for 50 years. Saw Queen (who were awesome) at the BMO Stadium on Nov. 11th and it was one of the worst run stadiums I've ever seen. Apparently reserved parking is all they have on site. No mention of that when we bought tickets. But tons of empty parking lots on site with just a couple of busses or scaffolding. Got to the stadium an hour before showtime, and spent at least a half hour before we figured that out. Finally found offsite parking, but when we got to the gate there was a completely disorganized line that took us 40 minutes to get through! No where near enough gates for the amount of people trying to get in. Missed at least 2 songs, after getting there an hour early! The worst. I would NEVER see anything here. read more

I was here for the Rufus du sol concert. Parking was smooth and Uber drop off is on the side. Staff was friendly. However lack of staff makes you having to figure out your seats yourself once inside and it was a complete mess. Everyone just sitting wherever they pleased to do so. Only GA Was checked properly. It was jam packed and annoying people just taking seats wherever causing irritation. The line for the bathrooms insanely long. Sound of opening acts was not good. Just not the best place for a concert. Leave before the end or you'll be stuck trying to get home for hours. read more

I'm not sure if it's the venue or if it's just the host of the venue that decided to close all entrances except one but it was an absolute nightmare getting to this Saturday concert. I was on the same block for about 30 minutes with traffic going both ways. There were no traffic guards like other venues to assist. The whole ordeal of just parking took over an hour AFTER I exited the freeway. Ended up having to part at the California science center for $50 I know it's outdoors but the sound was so bad. It sounded like you were listening to a cd from another room, very muffled. Food options were also very limited and most of them were actually closed. First visit to this venue for a Chile-El Salvador soccer friendly December 2021. The stadium is new , the seats comfortable and field view was good. The field had , like, sand on it and was not in condition for an match. We could see from time to time the ball would slow down because of the presence of this foreign material on the pitch. Unforgivable. When the game is not on, somebody feels obligated to run images on the screens and crank up the sound way too loud. Very annoying , but that's how every stadium is now for some reason. Since USC took over management of the Coliseum complex, parking has gone downhill. For some reason the Wokesters who manage USC have bought into the idea of a Los Angeles without cars. Stadium parking is going the way of smoking sections. They are trying to discourage people from taking cars. I could not help but notice a huge line at the restrooms at the half. Who signed off on this insufficient amount of toilets? Que corrupto. And, finally , Ticketmaster. How come a $240 bill for tickets and parking becomes $301.50? Shame. I really hope all the talk of the Robinson-Patman Act looks into to ticket selling arrangements and busts the chops of the venues and promoters involved. read more

Like many others, we paid a ton of money to see the Nightmare Before Christmas show featuring Billie Eilish and Danny Elfman and were so excited. We got off at Slauson Ave and sat in traffic for 2.5 HOURS before we even got to the parking ticket booth. "Traffic control" was a f*cking joke. Every person we talked to was absolutely clueless. We had already missed 75% of the show by the time we got to the parking booth and were NOT about to pay another $40.00 to MAYBE park and MAYBE get through security and to our seats before the show ended. Our tickets were never scanned and everyone that was forced to miss this event because of Banc of California Stadium's incompetence should be given a FULL refund, no questions asked. read more

I'm currently stuck in traffic trying to even get into the venue to park and this is ATROCIOUS. I pre-paid $44.20 for event parking. I left my house THREE HOURS before the event and still didn't make it on time. There's "parking enforcement" and police wandering around and doing literally nothing to direct traffic or alleviate any of this nightmare. There is very limited signage to help figure out where you're going or where the parking starts or stops. I'm so frustrated and at this point, will never come to another event here solely because we've had such a terrible experience even getting in. ** EDIT: We made it to our seats at 9:30. Which was the intermission so yeah, we missed the entire first half of the show and I'm really stabby about it. We got off the freeway and began the traffic nightmare at about 6:45. Almost 3 hours to go 1 block and find parking on a huge campus/venue with multiple lots? Insanity. Have I mentioned that I am NEVER coming back here for anything? Let me reiterate: Never. The stadium itself is nice looking and has pretty good seats, nice views of downtown L.A. and the stage itself, and I assume of the playing surface for LAFC games. Everything else is a COMPLETE SHIT SHOW, though. First off there is NO parking or traffic control. It took almost a full HOUR just to go about 1 mile down Figueroa because there are NO separate lanes to enter the campus. You are jammed with everyone else in the area, coming out of downtown, and USC, and the dorms, and the surrounding areas, etc. There is VERY little signage pointing to the parking area, so if you don't enter the correct driveway, you are screwed!! You'll probably sit in another 40+ minutes of traffic just to get back around. We missed TWO of the opening bands that I wanted to see. Once you enter and pay $40 to park, you pretty much have to fend for yourself to find a spot. The cones were blocking off all the upper levels, so we parked on the LOWEST possible level in the underground parking (more to come on this issue). Then you enter the stadium, it's a nice looking place. Looks pretty modern. I was pretty sure where my seat was, but when I showed the usher my screen, this MORON kept saying "No your seats are not here, you have to go up the stairs" even though we were on the 1st level. After debating with him we went to the other side, and another usher confirmed that I was correct. The view from the seats was decent, even though the stage was a LONG way across the floor. The concert itself was AMAZING, but there were some sound issues during the first 1-2 songs of each band. And the video screens on the side kept flickering and going out. The screen on the left side just went black for an entire performance. The concessions were A JOKE. This was the worst part about this shitty venue!! The pizza place had a line A MILE LONG and the line took at least 25 minutes according to a friend that went, but they said it was good pizza. The Trejo's Tacos also looked good, but the line was ridiculous. We decided to go later when the lines cleared out. Ended up getting popcorn and some beer instead. Later on, between bands (about 8 PM) we went up and there was no line at the pizza place. "Great!", we thought... until we went up and they said "NO MORE PIZZAS!! Only beer and drinks".... what the fuck?! So we walked all the way over to Trejo's. Again, there were only a few people in line. We went up and asked, and AGAIN, NO FUCKING FOOD!! After trying a 3rd concession (sausages or something?) they were ALSO out of food. HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP SERVING BEER WITH NO FOOD IN THE ENTIRE VENUE??!? Very irresponsible of this place to run out of food by 8 PM for a show that will go until Midnight... but they'll keep serving beer to everyone. DUI anyone?? The lines for the restrooms were crazy long too, so they obviously didn't have enough concessions or restrooms for the number of people attending. Also the concourses were WAY too narrow for the amount of people. In a time of COVID, everyone was CRUSHED together breathing on each other and barely moving in a huge crowd. Wonderful!! After the show was a CLUSTERFUCK as well. Like I said, we were on the lowest level. Apparently they have to clear out the cars from every upper level before the P4 level even MOVES!! We sat in a line of cars for 30 minutes before even MOVING up!! It took another 10-15 minutes for the entire line to start moving and we got out quickly at that point, after sitting about 45 minutes and barely moving. Yet again, NO traffic control on the way out!! Unfortunately I have to attend this SHIT venue again for System of a Down in a few months... but after that I will just skip any concert or game at this place!! read more

The actual venue is freaking awesome. Great seats, great acoustics, and spacious. However getting to those spacious, airy seats proved to be one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. The staffing and management needs to be terminated. 100%. Janitors, "ushers", security, and CERTAINLY the head of HR. Just start over with some qualified staff, with even an ounce of common sense or decency, or even a clue. From the lack of parking, which took an hour and a half...once we were on the stadium grounds...no joke. To the rude, trashy, and snarly security, whom belong in a career with no customer interaction at all. The ushers had no idea where my seat was. I ended up walking up to the front row, stage right, and got fromt row seats. Never approached, questioned, or bothered. And for the record, im a quiet, well tempered, 41 year old normal guy. And this was a mind-boggling cluster f. The cast was great as usual:) read more

If there's a concert here and you get VIP, just know that you will be using the same bathrooms as general, and there's no VIP bathrooms. The show I went to ASOT 1000, got VIP tickets and the bathrokms are on the 2nd floor. Vip is on the first. So they make you go up to the second floor, then you have to go down a GA wile which was 2, to go back to the VIP floor. GA had an easier time doing all this, so not sure if you wanna fork out the $$$ for that. I rated this higher than I normally would because I had a great time here for the sustem of a down concert read more

An open air sports and music venue that has a lot of perks if you are seasoned and experienced. If not then I'll give the low down on some of the benefits. I've experience this stadium for both events and I've found that you can pay for preferred parking but the lots adjacent to them like lots five and six are equally as safe and or easier to get out of.As for the seating goes. You can have a bad seat but I noticed seasoned vets usually wander around the the main floor and up and around walkways in order to get a better view. Security will police the areas but not as frequent so ones with bad seats can actually move around the the stadium and set up shop for a little while before hitting the next stop.The sound system wasn't to shabby. In the words of Paul Stanley from the band Kiss. If it's too loud then your too old. Well i must be getting up there because there was times the screeching was a little unbearable for my ears. Went to see Santana & Earth Wind & Fire concert this weekend. This was my first time at this stadium and my last. Parking was a mess and unorganized. No clear signs anywhere and traffic officers were of no help. This mess caused us to be an hour late to concert. Another 45 minutes in line for drinks. We sat at floor level, nearest restroom was upper level. Women's restrooms had the usual long lines and most of the stalls where out of toilet paper. Worst concert experience ever! read more

My boyfriend and I got there over an hour early, we had prepaid parking and everything and guess what?! We LITERALLY sat in traffic for 2 HOURS! By the time we got closer to being able to park, if was almost 9. 9!!!!!! Formerly known as the spot where the LA Sports Arena used to be. First off traffic and parking can be a challenge even Uber/Lyft dropping off not so bad but pick up yes. They do have law enforcement and traffic controllers somewhat directing traffic. I actually prepaid at the structure at Exposition Park it was worth it even though it was pricey and it took a while to get out. The venue is really nice it is an opened arena. Food wise I didn't really get to see all the stands did get Seoul Sausage got the kalbi sausage which was good. Getting to your seats was easy lots of signs with your section. Restrooms were pretty well kept and clean. Came here for the Iron Maiden Concert 9/14/19 sound was good but of course on the louder side due to the it being a smaller venue. Overall a great venue for a concert good views as well other than parking I recommend doing prepaid parking. read more

This stadium is huge and has lots of friendly staff to help you find the correct entrance. Here is the problem. I paid 459.00 for 3 seats to the Santana concert. Why so much? I paid for Founders Club seats. Aka flying business class not economy. Benefits, an indoor lounge adjacent to your seats, a dedicated line for entry, so no waiting The lounge has a dedicated bar and snacks of nachos, hot dogs. The website advertises the snacks and beer and wine as inclusive. NOT TRUE!! The complementary drinks and snacks apply only to Soccer games, NOT Concerts. The website and Ticketmaster does not state this. I spoke to management and they were no help. Gilbert, the director of catering said there was nothing he could do, and I should contact the stadium owners. Buyer beware! Sl the music is excellent. read more

After waiting in the line and passing the 8pm start time mark, we were directed to another parking lot blocks away to pay $60. Thankfully the band started late I have a feeling many people miss their entire concerts here due to the lack of organization and when I say lack of organization I actually mean this place is a TOTAL SHIT SHOW HAHAHA!!. What a mess. The potential of a beautiful new events center wasted with horrible line and parking management, and equally terrible communication on parking from the parking pass and ticket seller is a real travesty. This is going to be a rant, so turn back now if that's not your bag, baby. Scroll to the bottom for important stuff like BAG RULES. The stars are for Mumford & Sons on August 3rd 2019. I doubt I would even come back for an LAFC footie match, when it's rumored the parking situation isn't as big of a clusterf. We left ourselves two hours to get here from an Airbnb 10 miles away, and this still was not enough time. Even arriving at the intersection (Hoover & W MLK Jr, having come in on Hoover) across from the entrance on time with a parking pass purchase that we did at the same time we bought our tickets to the show made no difference. It was blocked off and we were screwed, having come in from the wrong street. We were not allowed in at this entrance and instead redirected to a line of traffic that stretched five blocks and made us two hours late. Two hours to travel five effing blocks. Just like the movies that take place in LA. I half expected to see Michigan J. Frog dancing on the roof of a gridlocked car nearby at any moment. We got the real experience. As we are not from this god forsaken wasteland of a region, we had no way of knowing. You could say that's what we get for not allowing enough time, sure. However, their signage and line management was non-existent. I heard Portugal. The Man from the road, and that was nice. I feel like I kinda got to experience that. The stadium is an open air design with shade coverings. We got to know the people in the car in the gridlock next to us, nearly deciding to share some cannabis before the show. The guy was a native and told us that he hadn't even seen traffic this bad in ages. Then he postulated it might be extra security because of El Paso, which we had to google due to being in the car all day from Sacramento. We suppose it COULD have been, but never did find out... At nearly 9:30 we finally were welcomed BACK into the entrance from a different side of the intersection, only to answer YES WE HAVE A GD PASS to the five employees in a row that asked us. It was comical. I didn't know whether to laugh or yell. They also weren't really paying attention to directing us to our parking area, but eventually we found a space and beat feet to get in there and enjoy Mumford & Sons, who kindly waited for us and were only three songs or so into their set. Sure would have been nice to see Portugal. The Man!!!!! Once inside, the experience didn't much improve. Ushers were sparse, and the way the seating is notated is terrible. The only nice and helpful staff member was the lady in the merch booth. It's such a SHAME as this stadium is beautiful and new! Such potential! Maybe they'll work out the kinks... The show itself was awesome, so after all of this nonsense I feel it was worth it. Good company and good music. This is my second time seeing them, and they don't disappoint. I would NOT come to another show here if you paid me. The two stars are for the concert, not the venue. I've never seen such a poorly managed venue in my life. I guess it was cool to see the outside of the historic Memorial Coliseum from the same parking lot. tl;dr *BAG RULES APPLY. Ladies, bring a small clutch or a clear, small bag or clear, small backpack. Read up on these rules online. Security is strict. *Get here two hours minimum before your event is to start. Even then, that may not be enough time. *There is a public transit stop and a metro station nearby, but this is not the greatest neighborhood. *They do offer parking passes with tickets, but getting to the parking area is a nightmare. I saw knotfest last night. We took a Lyft. That was a nightmare but at least we made it to the show. The stadium is so poorly thought out. Lines and crowding where there shouldn't be any. Also they ran out of food at every food location around 6 pm. The headliner didn't go on until 920. This is the worst venue in LA. Yes, worse than trying to get to the forum. Wouldn't recommend driving there. Parking is $60, cops and security along the parking but managed to get my car broken into. Thefts don't care portal is there. Don't leave anything valuable and double check your doors. If you have a camera in your car leave park mode on. People walk from the street to the parking and walk out. They used cards left in a Wallet nearby. Try getting dropped off. read more

While the venue was great to see a show, it was poorly run. We had floor seats and the lines was miles long to get in. We waited well over an hour and a half to get through security. It was total chaos. So much so we ended up missing the opening of the show. read more

While the stadium itself looks great both inside and out, my issue with guest services created the biggest negative impact for me. After standing in the entry line for about 20 minutes, someone from guest services informed the line that people with tickets in certain areas needed to enter at a different gate. We showed the rep. our tickets and were pointed to another area. We stood in that line and noticed another guest services person shouting that people were being told the incorrect line; we showed that person our tickets and were instructed to use another line in front of the stadium. So even before entering, we'd already walked around the entire building. Once inside, we asked another guest services person for help in finding our seats. To make a long story short--after almost 45 minutes, directed around half the stadium only to be told our seats were back on the other side (where we started), we finally found them. The show itself wasn't bad--we enjoyed the movie, the live orchestra, and all the performers--the stadium didn't feel as though it was built for concerts. Most of the sound faded away quickly, and the attendees in the balcony above us chanted quite a few times for the volume to be increased. Hands down the most disorganized and unsafe concert I've ever experienced. They were an hour late to open the doors and did not use every entrance. The staff had no idea what was going on and did not direct anyone. Every line fed back into one line and caused a massive traffic jam that delayed the concert and put everyone's safety at risk. Several people had panic attacks in line due to crowding. if anyone had decided to push injuries would have been unavoidable. The concert started and hour late and over half the people still hadn't made it inside. Absolutely deplorable. read more
