Heading into the Post Season, the Los Angeles Dodgers are clearly the HOTTEST team in MLB. It's crazy what a change in ownership (including Magic Johnson), ballpark renovations, and spending moolah like there's no tomorrow can do for a storied franchise. It's a Whole New Blue!!! The numbers are simply AMAZING. On 6/19, they were 29-40, 9 games back, and dead last in the National League West standings. As of 8/15, the Blue Crew are 40-8, First Place in the National League West (70-50 overall record) with the AZ Diamondbacks trailing by 7.5 games. The last team with that kind of stretch was the 1951 NY Giants. 1951? A gallon of gas was only 19 cents. Since, the All Star Break, the Doyers are 21-3. Talk about team chemistry and a winning attitude! Prior to the season, Guggenheim Baseball Management spent over $100 million dollars on enhancements to Dodger Stadium, as the Boys in Blue started their 52nd season in LA. They made significant improvements to the Loge Level by reconfiguring the space to make more room. The walkway in front of the concession areas are wider, allowing easier flow of traffic. The main intention was to spend less time waiting in lines for food and drinks. The restrooms were also renovated, meaning less wait time for you. DRINK MORE BEER. There are also new stores on the Loge Level for fresh Dodger Gear with merchandise being more abundant, including a New Era cap store. During ball games, I make my way to the Loge Level bar area for refreshments. There's a nice patio area to chill and just chat. With TV's being located everywhere, I don't miss a single second of my Dodgers. Behind the seats, are party boxes where you can lounge around, with a clear view of the field. Here are some more tips to make each game more enjoyable. * Bring unopened drinks and food to the stadium, as I usually pick up TO GO meals on my way to the ballpark. Also, consider sunglasses to block out the rays. Buy a Yasiel Puig jersey or shirt and feel better about yourself as you cheer on the BEST team in MLB. * Forget preferred parking. Pay the $10 and park as close to the actual exits as possible. HINT - think Elysian Park. Bone out when the game ends and you'll leave the stadium a lot faster, instead of being gridlocked. * Knowledge is power. Check for news, promotions, and team schedule (http://losangeles.dodger...). When was the last time you took home a promotional item such as a jersey, hoodie, or t-shirt? * Beer gets me way too full, always making me run to the bathroom in between innings. Try the Asian Breeze or Gold Rush, Jinro Chamisul Soju cocktails on the very top floor of the stadium. Just look for the picture of PSY. Each time Hyun Jin Ryu pitches at home, Koreans flock to the Chavez Ravine. I'm getting kinda nervous with so many of us around in one area. This ain't the World Baseball Classic nor World Cup Soccer. Still, the True MLB Team of LA (low blow to the OC Angels of Anaheim) has the best chance in almost 25 years to win the World Series, so I can't blame my people for flooding into Dodger Stadium. At least we can all munch on Choco-Pie and down some Soju during the seventh inning stretch. DODGERS, HWA E TING!

The Loge Terrace is great for corporate or group pre-game events. The sectioned-off area is inside the ticket scanning area and outside of left field seats. It's easy to find. You need special tickets to get in so don't worry about crashers. Their catering set up is buffet-style and you can choose to include beverages, or have your guests pay their own way at the cash bar. The food can get as fancy as having a carver, or just wraps and sandwiches. Dodger Dogs are available, of course, and their pulled pork is pretty popular. Here is the current menu: http://www.levyrestaurants.com/Levy/Menus/SportsAndEntertainment/Dodger+Stadium/Loge+Terrace+Menu.htm $250 is the deposit you need to put down to reserve the space. The view from my seat in section 109. Go Dodgers!
    Jen S.

I saw so much trash on the field!!! I mean, the Giants were out there taking batting practice when I arrived at the game 2 hours early, and I remember thinking, man, there is trash and feces all over the field. I even thought a sewer line had burst, but it was just Brian Wilson. So my friend and I were sitting in section 109 which is right behind home plate. I love these seats, and think they are even better than sitting at field level, as they offer a much better view and you are still close. Also, it is a prime spot for catching foul balls (I caught a foul hit by Russell Martin 3 years ago in these seats). Also, since I hate Frank McCourt, I refuse to buy my tickets from the Dodgers. Rather, I got mine from StubHub and paid half the retail price. Also, I didn't pay for parking. Now, normally I would not have paid for food either, but my cooler had a leak and my sandwich was flooded with melted ice water. Since I don't eat fast food, and Dodger Stadium has a terrible selection of food (if you eat healthy), I decided to get popcorn for $4.50. I mean, it is about what they charge at the movies, right? So I had to walk all the way down to the third base area where they make popcorn, but they didn't have any. Perhaps if the old women got off their asses and popped some corn, McCourt would be willing to use his Satanic, talon hand to reach into his vault and spend some money on our terrible pitching, right? But getting back to the point, HOW THE HELL do you run our of popcorn???? Just add more corn to the machine and let it do it do its work!!! So I had to walk all the way to the 1st base side, and they had 2 popcorns left. This is ridiculous! A ballpark should NEVER run out of popcorn, and there should be more than 2 damn stands in the loge Terrace to service the fans. I was very disgusted at this. So despite my anger over the lazy concession stand workers, I did love my seat and loved it even more knowing that McCourt didn't benefit form my money. Also, the little show they put up on the big screen before the game is stupid. I remember how they used to show local Hollywood and people like Snoop Dogg and George Lopez giving props to the Dodgers, and it was fun to watch. They even used to play the 'I Love LA' song before the game. Now they play 'Kickstart my Heart' by Motley Crue which has lyrics that celebrate and glorify drug use. LAME.

We walked up to a venue that has kept much of its original character while still providing the features expected from a modern sports venue. The open layout, classic architecture, and the sightlines from the stands made the scale of the stadium immediately apparent, and the combination of its location, design, and long baseball history gave the stadium a unique atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The biggest highlight of our visit was experiencing Hololive Night, which added a completely different energy to the usual Dodgers game. The event brought together baseball fans and Hololive fans, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the stadium. The themed elements, from the special merchandise to the in-game presentations, made the night feel more like a celebration than a standard ballgame. It was interesting seeing a special event bring together two different communities in the same space, and the crowd's reaction added to the overall excitement of the evening. Sitting in the stands while watching the game as the sun went down was one of the most memorable parts of the experience. The combination of the Los Angeles skyline, the surrounding hills, and the stadium lights created a setting that felt unique to the city. The overall game-day experience had everything expected from a major baseball venue. There are plenty of food and drink options throughout the stadium, including classics like Dodger Dogs, along with different areas to explore before and during the game. The food prices are typical for a professional sports venue, but there are enough choices to make it easy to enjoy the full experience. The biggest thing to plan around is transportation, as parking is available but traffic entering and leaving the stadium can take time, especially for popular games and events. Overall, Dodger Stadium is a venue that combines history, atmosphere, and a great location into one experience. Hololive Night made our visit feel even more unique, but the stadium itself is what makes the trip memorable. Whether attending a baseball game, a special event, or simply wanting to experience a classic Los Angeles landmark, Dodger Stadium is worth adding to your list.

It's a completely cashless place (as most stadiums are these days) so prepare to pull out your card for everything. Is it expensive? Yes. Was it more than I thought? For some items, yes ($12 soda, $11 Dodger dog) but for others no ($22 beer, $6 ice cream) The atmosphere is great and the fans love their team. Unfortunately for them the Padres won

I purchased the special ticket package that included a bucket hat and arrived early to be one of the first 5,000 fans to receive the Hello Kitty blind box giveaway. I was pleasantly surprised by how organized everything was. The staff did a great job regulating the number of people going through security, which helped keep the entrance process smooth despite the large crowd. I always bring a clear bag to sporting events hoping to get through security a little faster, but I still got pulled aside for an additional bag check. It was a little frustrating since it slowed down the process, especially when I noticed other guests with larger, non-clear bags weren't being stopped. Thankfully, I still made it in early enough to receive the Hello Kitty blind box. I even managed to catch one of the free T-shirts during the T-shirt toss, which was a fun surprise. Once inside, I picked up my bucket hat before the game. The pickup line itself was well organized, but the area felt more crowded than it needed to be since the Hello Kitty meet-and-greet and photo opportunities were in the same space. Even though the Sparks lost, it was still a fun first Hello Kitty Night, and I'd definitely consider coming back for another themed game in the future.

The venue, particular on a warm summer night, is without peer. It is almost a spiritual experience! The lighting, the sound quality, the bowl itself and the sky full of stars are truly memory makers! The Hollywood Bowl is clearly a 5-Star VENUE. So why the 2-Star rating? You simply cannot trust that what you pay for is what you are going to get when it comes to the programming! Last night I bought a tickets for what was advertised as "Bernstein and Ellington" only to be unpleasantly surprised by the fact that NONE OF THE FIRST HALF was either Bernstein or Ellington. In fact, less than half the show by total time was Bernstein or Ellington. Excluding the encore, there was a total of 11 minutes of Bernstein and 14 minutes of Ellington. Regardless of their motives, Hollywood Bowl/LA Philharmonic top management are guilty of "Bait and Switch." I don't care whether it is a restaurant, a concert venue or a car dealership, customers deserve to get what they pay for. It really is that simple. If I order French Fries and get a baked potato, I am going to give the restaurant a low rating. If I go to a dealership because of an ad for a specific car at a specific price, I am going to give them a low rating if they offer me a different car when I get there. So, to be consistent, I have to give the Hollywood Bowl a low rating for advertising the music of two amazing mid 20th century composers and delivering something very different. This is NOT rocket science... Say what you are going to do and then do it. I overheard several season ticket holders at intermission that were complaining that this misrepresentation of the content is a repeat of last season and, as much as they love the venue, they are not going to renew for next year. Hollywood Bowl Management, when your customers are opening complaining in the men's room, you need to take a long hard look in the mirror!

I bought my ticket last minute and went alone because the artists were Coldplay and H.E.R., and I had been dying to see them live. Plus, tbh there is something fun about being able to say, "Yeah, I've been to the Rose Bowl." That said, I really hope any artist I love never forces me into this venue again. The food options were not interesting, the venue felt filthy, and I wanted to avoid the restrooms as much as possible. People were smoking near me during the concert, and one guy drank so much that he ended up vomiting all over the bleachers behind me. Security had to escort him out, and even that became chaotic because his friends nearly picked a fight with them. Now, Coldplay was absolutely incredible!! They know how to put on a show, and once they hit the stage, I genuinely forgot how miserable the venue experience had been. Unfortunately, I ended up missing the one song I was most looking forward to (Fix You) because toward the end of the concert, some smarter concertgoers started leaving early to avoid traffic. Since I had a long drive home, I decided to leave during the last few songs too. And even then? I still got stuck in traffic for a while! Getting out of the Rose Bowl was an absolute nightmare. Would I come back here again? Honestly, I hope not. The artist would have to be extremely worth it for me to willingly set foot in this venue again. My advice: go at your own risk, get there as early as possible for better parking, bring food and water so you can eat before going in, wear comfortable shoes, and go with people you actually like enough to suffer with. Coldplay was amazing. The venue experience was not.
