I said thank you as I exited the store. I ended up buying my materials at Joann Fabrics online. I feel like I was snubbed just because my son was with me. Either way, I have unsubscribed from their emails and will not be setting foot in this place since I did not feel welcomed. So much for supporting a local small business.
