When you do a show with others, the cast forms a bond. They gel. For this reason, the kids tend to create friendships that travel outside of Premier's doors. At first, I barely managed a doodle, but my instructor, Diana Stezalski, encouraged me to see things differently. With a piece of charcoal in hand, I learned to observe more clearly and explore the dramatic effects of black-and-white drawing. Not only did the class provide me with personalized college-level instruction, but I also gained heartfelt collaboration with my peers, learning from each other's disciplines and forging friendships.
