I have taken 3 of their $20 Make and Take classes. These classes are about an hour and are perfect for those who are new or just love the adorable holiday themed boards. I love seeing everyone else designs too! The staff is very friendly. They are always willing to help with a technical question or giving ideas/sharing what other people have done. I did the pumpkin trio class last fall and will definitely do it again because there was so many great ideas (and I don't believe a girl can have too many pumpkins!). read more

Great place for a fun event with friends/coworkers and family or if you want to just have some fun crafting

Caveat: I have the artistic abilities of a 3rd grader so I was apprehensive. I did one of their quick small board classes which are 2hrs in duration and they pre-stain the wood. I signed up online and picked out my bunny stencil. There were several more experienced painters at the table. They were experts in getting the stencil on straight with no air bubbles, which is key to getting clean, crisp lines. All of the tools were provided, however the instructor did not give much guidance to us beginners. My stencil was cut really close to the edge of my bunny ear, not giving me much margin to apply the paint. Since you have to pre-order the stencil, there was not another available. I saw lots of projects around the studio I am interested in trying. I am glad I did this quick $20 class as an introduction. read more

What a wonderful, fun class. My hubby is extremely creative and loves building things out of wood. If you want to bring your date night up a notch...this class is just for that. Something fun, collaborative, creative all in one. Meghan was our instructor and she was so knowledgable in all the tricks. We ended up taking home two great wood projects to hang up in our new home. Her very first response was just "they are sold out". I responded that from what I saw, I was able to sign up for some of the dates shown. My friend and I have recently become board and Brush addicts. So much so that we're going to be on our 4th and 5th boards soon. This location is great and they let you bring food and drinks including wine. We've had Lindsay teaching our class for the second time now and she's always great! Diane is great as well and is usually there when we go. We try to go every week to 2 weeks since we have so many ideas we want to do, as well as gifts. I got an invite for my niece to visit here. I was super excited to take her. We tried signing up for the activities for 4 days on my phone and desktop it would not allow me to. When I contacted the store I was told the sign up closes 24 hours before. As a first time visitor and invited for a party I was never informed of this and obviously would have called sooner if I was aware. The lady that spoke to me on the phone regarding the situation was quite rude to me. My niece enjoyed the visit. The space is super cute. I went with some friends for the first time last night. My artistic skills are questionable but the tutorial in class was great. Plus the instructors were always willing to help. We had Stephen and he was hilarious. And his other assistant (Zola? Zora? Zelda?) was really nice too. What I really like is they will help when you need it but wont take over the whole project. I did a canvas painting at a Tempe studio a few years ago and the instructor just kept taking my brush and doing it for me. Bro, its my project leave it alone. It was a canvas so its not like I was hanging it on the wall. We all had a great time at B&B and I will be back for my holiday decor! read more
