There are two walking tracks,around 850m long, so a decent trek but manageable for most people. The area is usually really quiet, with only a few fisherman to keep you company. The track itself is a great walk. Surprisingly, there is a boardwalk for a section of the way. Some of the track winds around Tingalpa Creek, which is surprisingly wide and long for a creek. The trees block out the road noise and the peace and quiet means you can hear a whole range of birds and local wildlife on your walk. The area is fairly popular with fisherman, especially on the weekend. The section of the track that is closet to Rickertt Road has a jetty, type platform structure for fishing off plus there are a few wooden carved picnic tables under a shaded area. Perfect for a quiet afternoon on the weekend.

But if you take a long leash your furry friends can still enjoy some freedom to sniff. A coffee shop by the park which we were unable to try due to time constraints. A lovely walk. Bordered by water on all…read moresides, the point has a park for the kids, a swimming area, a restaurant, take away, a jetty and a boating ramp. All in all, you could have a fantastic family day out. I like to wander down after work on a Saturday and kick back with some fish and chips under one of the huge, Moreton Bay fig trees. You get a nice breeze and a great water view of King Island. You see heaps of wind surfers, jet skis, canoes and boats. There are always couples sitting on benches by the water, kids in the water and groups enjoying a day out in their boat. A fun, holiday atmosphere. On a bad day, you will get a really strong wind and because there is water on all sides, there really isn't anywhere to hide. Best to go on a sunny day unless you are wind surfing.

Raby Bay Harbour Park is a lovely little park near Harbourview Court at Cleveland. It is a great…read moreplace to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon although sometimes there are many others with the same idea. It has a fantastic view of the marina and is really well kept, with plenty public rubbish bins and the gardens and grass areas are always in great condition. After browsing some of the local Cleveland shops, I sometimes like to grab a coffee or some fish and chips and wander down to the park to relax and watch the people go by. It is really relaxing, especially on a nice sunny day.
