Bob Bennett Locksmiths are FANTASTIC! I have a Kwik smart lock on my bedroom door. I was having some work done in the house and the workmen accidentally locked the door and no one could get into it. Unfortunately, the keys were in the bedroom. I called Bob Bennett Locksmiths and talked to Marie. She asked for pictures of the lock, door jamb, and proof of ownership of the property, which I sent to her. We talked 3 times on the phone, about 15-20 minutes of her time and expertise. This morning, I was locked inside of my second floor bedroom in a very old farmhouse with skeleton key locks. The key broke and there I was. After a neighbor and then the police department trying for several hours, I realized I needed to call the locksmith. Bob Bennett Jr. and Maria came right away to Sag Harbor and opened the door safely and without breaking anything within about 5 minutes. Most of those minutes were spent putting the door knob on the police officers took off trying to open the door. Compare this to another locksmith in town who charged hundreds to replace two cylinders (including in the now-formerly problematic door). This is how it should be! This husband and wife team are fantastic. I called on a Saturday morning and they arrived within an hour. They rolled up to my place in a van that is a fully equipped locksmith shop. They charged an extremely reasonable service fee and since the job took less than 15 minutes didn't charge for labor. Then they made two key copies (which, of course, if I had would have made their visit unnecessary!) for about what it would've cost to go to a hardware store. I don't know how you can do better. read more
