We were seated immediately, all the staff were friendly (shoutout to our server Lucas who went above and beyond to make our dining experience amazing). They have a great drink selection, beers, mixed drinks. The "Ol' reliable Tea", was a bit more bitter than my wife would have liked, not a problem, Lucas brought a bit more of the rosemary honey concoction to sweeten up the drink". The buffalo wings were great and spicy. The kids devoured their kids menu cheeseburgers, and the Estate burger was one of the best burger combinations I've ever had; savory, sweet because of the red onion marmalade, tender, juicy... it was firing on all cylinders :-) Now all this good and only a four star review?... I'll explain. We are in town from the North East on vacation and this is the second establishment that has an included 20% service charge that is shared for all employees. Fine, if that's the rules, I'll play by them. But on top of that, our personal server only gets to share that tip and has to ask for additional tip? They have to become salesmen for their level of service?!? Very strange business practices and be prepared for your bill to automatically increase by 30% - 40% because of taxes, mandatory service charges, and additional personal tip. We did end up tipping our server in cash because he was just that good!! But if it was just an average experience, I would have been fine by walking out of there being fleeced for the mandatory 20%.

I've come here for my birthday. I already have plans for a visit when my family gets here in two weeks. Obviously, the food is phenomenal. I usually get Art's Famous Fried Chicken, which they say is Buttermilk-brined for 24 hours then and then flash fried. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and they're always very cautious. No matter who the server or floor manager is. Typically, it's served with creamy mashed potatoes, but I usually swap it out with Momma's Mac and Cheese. I've also had the Smothered Chicken, Bee Haven Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Skilled-fried Chicken Paillard, which is what most of the staff recommends as their favorite dish. And you always have to get a cheddar drop biscuit. That's a non-negotiable. This restaurant is very popular and often gets quite busy, so I recommend to make a reservation as soon as you're ready. But the busyness of the restaurant won't matter once you take a bite. The food is the ambiance and changes everything. Just trust me.

They treat you like you're an old time friend even if it's your first time there. The appetizers (deviled egg and hush puppies) were great. The fried chicken, which they're known for, was very disappointing. It was one of the driest fried chicken I've had in a while. The biscuit side was also very mid. Overall, I do recommend trying this place out, but skip their fried chicken (unless you just love chicken).

Once I was seated and looked over the menu, I ordered a drink and the meatloaf, which was served with two sides: steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. Before the food arrived, the server brought over a plate of honey butter croissants. OMG, these croissants were absolutely delicious! So warm, soft, and flaky--the honey butter drizzle was chef's kiss. The deliciousness continued with the meatloaf, which was moist, perfectly cooked, and covered in a rich, flavorful gravy; complemented by the tender broccoli and creamy mashed potatoes. This was comfort food at its best. My drink (Tito's & cranberry) was delightful and well-balanced. If I wasn't so stuffed, I would have ordered another one. If you want to experience a variety of American comfort food with all day, every day happy hour at budget friendly prices, then I highly recommend Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen.

From the moment we walked in, he made sure to ask us questions and give recommendations because it was our first time. He let us know that these were the best burgers in Orlando, and he wasn't lying. The food, although a little pricey, was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Bangin' Shrimp as an appetizer, which blew me away. The shrimp had a tempura fry to it, giving it a perfectly crispy crunch. The sauces that were drizzled on top helped to amplify the flavor of the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Shroom N Swiss burger. I love how thick and juicy the burger patties are. It's hard to find a good burger place that has thick patties, and The Whiskey delivers that meat. Another thing that blew me away was the mushroom that came on top. Usually, mushroom burgers have little slices of mushrooms, but this burger had a big fat slice of mushroom on top. And it tasted so good. This is a perfect atmosphere to come in, grab a couple drinks, eat good food, and maybe even catch a sports game or live music. Only thing I will say is that it may be a little loud for some, making it hard to hear conversations. But if you love a loud atmosphere, then this place is perfect!

Monica was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, our interaction with Mary was the complete opposite. She was rude and unaccommodating, which made our visit unpleasant. After ordering a few drinks, we decided to patronize another business. As a group of returning customers, we were also disappointed that no effort was made to accommodate us. We've supported this restaurant year after year, and we expected a more welcoming experience, especially as loyal guests. We hope management recognizes the difference that customer service can make and addresses these concerns so future guests--and returning customers like us--have a better experience.
