The food was amazing. Jeannine, our server was really sweet. She checked in on us often, but we were busy stuffing our faces. Apple berry splash, which is Apple juice with a splash of berry, was good. Double meat breakfast was really good. It came with pancakes that were very fluffy. Rise and shine breakfast was perfect as well. Nice clean restaurant and bathrooms. Thanks for a good meal, Bob

Passed on the home fries and got a fruit bowl. Biscuit/Sausage/Egg Plus Biscuit/Bacon/Egg Sausage Gravy in the side Mmmmm mmmmm good

Clean, fast, and friendly! Ordered the two biscuit sandwiches/ one with bacon, one with sausage. Great meats com Bob Evans Farms. Stopped here on the way to Indy. I wish there were Bob Evans in the Northeast!

This BLT was served to us. Assembled by a toddler and cut with a golf club.

This place is awful. No tipped Alexis after this hostess/waitress seated us and then ignored us for 10 minutes while taking care of tables she seated after us. My wife asked her to re-wipe our sticky table and then she just handed us some napkins. Instead of soup, we got a bowl of veggies and dry beef. SOUP HAS BROTH TOO, ALEXIS! My wife ordered a BLT, and this masterpiece was served. We had to beg for drink refills. Go to Cracker Barrel instead.

Went on a Sunday for lunch and they were packed. It was a 25 minute wait for 3 people and went up after we were on the waitlist. We also waited a bit for food as they were also short staffed. Typical Bob Evans decor and clean bathrooms, tables were cleaned pretty quickly too. We had a Southwest avocado omelet no sausage, southwest avocado chicken, and I think wildfire chicken salad. Omelet came with either toast or biscuits, but the other two came with bread or rolls. She did forget to ask what kind one us wanted. Omelet was good and filling. The salad was reminiscent of a taco salad. Sadly the southwest avocado chicken wasn't very flavorful and was shorted. Despite the name, they forgot to add the avocado and also the second piece of chicken. The cooks were reportedly new so we waited until the end of our meal, but no resolution so we asked if we could get a discount. The server was very apologetic and fully removed the meal so we were pleasantly surprised since I was just hoping for a couple dollars off. Sad the mistake happened, but not a big deal and they made up for it. We still tipped. Before the discount it was about $44 for 3 meals with 2 teas. Overall pretty standard Bob Evans, but don't go if you have plans to get to.

Finely tried a Bob Evans restaurant after seeing several in our travels. They were okay kind of like a Denny's.

Good thing we still gave it a chance because we were seated immediately and our server was over for drink orders within a minute. The food came out about 10 mins or less from the time she put it in and everything was hot and fresh. I thought the country fried steak had great flavor. I wished that the hashbrowns were crispier, but the rye bread was delicious and the scrambled eggs were standard. My boyfriend had chili and the Philly cheesesteak and enjoyed both. The chili looked hearty and was served with crackers. The dining room is organized well to allow for many tables and plenty of walk way. They have pictures and fun decor throughout to give that homey feel. I'd recommend, if you're looking for a good diner experience.

I ordered a sausage, cheese, and mushroom omelette, paired with wheat toast, a biscuit, and a sausage patty--because why not try the full breakfast spectrum? The food? Good. Not mind-blowing. Just classic, comforting, and honest--like a warm hug from your Midwestern aunt who doesn't do fancy but always delivers. The menu is no-frills: eggs, pancakes, potatoes, breakfast meats--you know the drill. But the real MVP? The service. My coffee cup never hit empty, which automatically earns them five stars in my caffeine-fueled heart. Would I drive cross-county for it? Nah. But if I lived nearby, I'd be in here every weekend, sipping coffee and solving the world's problems over bacon.

There are relatively few dining options in Mansfield Ohio on a Sunday, thankfully Hudson and Essex is one that is available! We arrived without Reservations and seated in the dining room. We usually prefer the bar; however, as it was Sunday dinner, we wanted to be more proper. On Sundays, they do offer a dinner menu and a Sunday dinner menu. Their Sunday dinner menu is very good! We've had offerings on it before and have never been disappointed. This time we did decide to order off the regular menu. After ordering a round of cocktails to start with, we ordered a jalapeño flatbread appetizer special to start. Must say that that flatbread was extremely delicious and hot! The jalapeño slices could've been deveined and deseeded to tame the heat a little. For our main courses, I ordered their Caesar salad with blackened chicken, my wife their small filet, and mom their pierogi appetizer. Our meals came out well presented and delicious! It was the first time I've ever had their Caesar salad and I enjoyed it immensely. My wife always enjoys their steak and my mom raved about the pierogies. No formal desserts were ordered; however, I ordered a last word, which was delicious! Alec really is a great bartender and can make just about anything! All in all, another well done dinner at Mansfield's best restaurant!

Having grown up in Youngstown, OH, and having lived near New Haven, CT, I have eaten a lot of wonderful Italian Food. We didn't want to wait for a table to open up in the regular restaurant so we decided to eat at the GASTRONOMIA Italian Deli (same kitchen as the back restaurant). My wife is handicapped and some very kind ladies moved to a "high" table so we could sit at a lower table. We ordered from a young lady with the most amazing blue eyes and she brought our food when it was ready. My wife had the Muffuletta Sub and I had the Mighty Meatball Sub. My wife could only eat 1/4 of her sandwich and I could only eat 1/2 of mine. If you have ever lived in one of the two places I mentioned, you know good Italian . This was WONDERFUL Italian. I can't wait to go back there!
