We recently had 9 cameras installed in our home after a spike in crime in our neighborhood prompted us to take action. We were referred to Security Cam Crew by one of our neighbors who had 10 cameras installed in and around her home. What was supposed to be a 2-day installed turned into a 3-4 day install because we wanted two cameras installed in areas that were tricky to wire. Rather than give up on the installation for these last two cameras, and possibly motivated by the fact that they would have to potentially install cameras in other homes in our neighborhood with the same floor plan, Scott, Tyler and their team stayed open minded and flexible with both me and my husband when we wanted to brainstorm how to wire these last two cameras. This is my third Hikvision camera I bought from Security Camera Crew . Since I bought online , I did my own setup. Setting up: The camera will come defaulted to IP 192.168.1.64. Connect a device like a laptop to the same network/subnet. Browse to the IP and you will be prompted to enter a password for the "admin" account. You won't be able to modify this camera with the Hikvision SADP software tool until you enter a password. Once you setup the admin password you can start configuring the camera. Camera has a metal body and seems rugged like the other two Hikvision camera's I'm currently using. My first Hikvision 2.8mm 3MP dome camera has been running for 2 years now in Georgia at temperatures ranging from 20-110+F. No issues, the camera has been solid. I expect this new one to perform similarly. The image quality is excellent and has good visibility at night using the IR lights. Bottom line . I'm totally satisfied I contacted The Security Camera Crew via the Yelp "Request a Quote" link to inquire about security cameras be installed on my home. Tyler from Security Camera Crew met me at my home on Friday of the same week which was my first availability to see what my needs where and make his recommendations. The following week Security Camera Crew emailed me a quote for 5 High Definition 1080P cameras and an 8 channel HD DVR, installed. The quote seemed reasonable and I agreed to the terms without getting any additional quotes. We scheduled the installation about a week later when I had time to be home. The installation team of three guys showed up on time but I requested a sixth camera be added at the last minute which they did not have with them. One guy went to get the additional camera while the others starting working. He returned shortly with everything needed. The installers were quiet and clean. There was no mess to clean up aside from a small amount of dust that had fallen from the attic entry point and where holes were drilled in an interior wall allowing a hardwire connection to my internet router. Tyler installed the app on my PC allowing me to view each of the cameras and control the DVR from my PC. He also installed the app on each of our phones so we can view the camera images from anywhere. I'm glad I chose to use Security Camera Crew. Their high-quality equipment and their professional installation were exactly what I was looking for. read more

AWESOME COMPANY! I sent out four inquiries for estimates for a company to install a security system for my home. The first one being hand chosen by me, Security Camera Crew, the other three were randomly selected by Yelp just to give me a fair choice. Only two actually followed up and I met with both. I'm giving this company a 5 stars due to numerous reasons: 1) I work 3jobs as a RN and Scott et. al. always showed up on time from doing estimates, installation and follow ups such as camera adjustment and software issues. 2) Installation of cameras are clean and cords are nicely concealed. They ask permission if they needed to drill a hole on the floors and cleans up quickly. 3) And lastly they are reliable and approachable due to the fact that they respond to your concerns even if it's after business hours and will guide you through the phone to try resolve the issue. I decided to have cameras installed when we moved into our residence and did quite a bit of research into camera installations companies. After contacting Security Camera Crew and speaking to Scott over the phone and Tyler coming out to give me an estimate, I decided to go with them. Lalo and Kawa came out at the scheduled time and begun with the planning and installation of the cameras immediately. While they were planning where to put the cameras, they would consult with me about location, camera angles and exact placement of where I wanted the cameras before they installed them. I have a small house but went with 8 cameras because I wanted all of my property covered, you can never be too careful right? Tyler showed up during the install to make sure everything was going smoothly and checked to make sure everything was satisfactory with me. He made sure the camera point of view angles were adjusted exactly as I wanted them to be. About 2 weeks after the install, I had a small problem arise with one of my cameras going out and my remote viewing needed to be setup. After calling Scott and letting him know, he arranged to have Kawa come back and install a new working camera for the one that went out as it was covered under warranty, costing me nothing. As for the remote viewing, I called Tyler and he walked me through over the phone on how to set it up and it's working smoothly now. I have to say I had a great experience working with Security Camera Crew. The service was great and the price was very reasonable especially for the quality cameras you are getting, which is better than 1080 resolution. I HIGHLY recommend using them if you ever need cameras installed at your residence or business. Thank You Scott, Tyler, Lalo and Kawa! Lastly, please keep in mind they are very busy so please be patient when they are scheduling you or getting back to you, it is very worth it to wait and use them for your security needs. It is quite unfortunate I have to leave this review. We installed two camera systems on two separate HOA communities. At first, service was great. The last year it is nearly impossible for him to service one community and then another community he did not complete his $7,500.00 job. He was paid in full. The cameras are useless since he has stood me up multiple times to connect to their WiFi. We have threatened to take him to small claims court and I was basically told to stand in line by Scott. Tyler has not called back or emailed after many attempts as well. Our other community the cameras do not work in the pool area at all. This was a $20,000 system we installed. It's a litany of personal life excuses, no call backs, and systems that DO NOT work. Buyer beware. read more

I was only interested in peace of mind coverage while I am away and they got me set up and running a few days later. Installation and installers are clean and professional. I am hooked up to my phone, computer, tablets and get alerts or can just stalk my house anytime I feel the need. I've had 10 cameras installed by Security Camera Crew. Scott and Tyler are a wonderful family owned business. They helped me with the placement of the cameras, including where the best spots would be for the cameras. Installation took a full day. The installer and Tyler were professional, thorough, and cleaned up neatly afterwards. The cameras are professional looking and no wires show whatsoever. I recently changed to a new computer modem and needed my NVR re-programmed. Tyler came by the next day to re-program the modem and was done in 20 minutes without any issues. Also, I've been able to catch a package thief that stole from a neighbor down the street. She has The Ring and did not see much of the suspect's car. The suspect happened to make a U-Turn in front of my house and my cameras got all the action, including a clear view of his license plate. I screen shot a picture of the suspect's car and license plate and a video clip and turned it into The Police Department. Local PD eventually caught the suspect a few months later. Turns out he stole the license plates and was caught later with multiple packages and methamphetamines in his car. He was arrested and prosecuted, and the police officer even received an award! Thanks to Security Camera Crew, justice was served! We feel so much safer with the cameras from Scott and Tyler. I can vacation in peace, I even monitor my dog and cat with the inside cameras, and I can even check to make sure the garage is closed with my outside camera. Scott and Tyler are truly gifted in what they do and I would not hesitate to recommend them to neighbors and friends. After I did some research, I found that almost every single review was positive and I could not agree more. I had Scott and his crew do my installation a little over a month ago and you need to know this: They are a FANTASTIC company. Scott and his brother Tyler have been over at the house twice at my request to adjust our cameras. They didn't charge extra, they were onetime, and they went above and beyond again. On one of the cameras that I had tried to save money on (I ran the cable myself when I first tried to install my own system and failed miserably) I did not leave enough slack in the cable....they ran an entire new cable line and upgraded the camera so that I would have better picture quality. Again, there was no extra charge. They said that they just wanted to make sure that I was a happy customer. So if you are even thinking of upgrading your current security camera system or having a new one put in your home or business I would suggest that you give Scott a call. Don't be fooled by cheeper offers from unscrupulous companies or cheep systems from Costco. Just had some major camera work installed by Security Cam Crew!!! First off, Scott does the estimates and walk-arounds. My main concern is that I didn't want exposed cables and conduit all over the house. Fyi, To have wires run inside the walls/stucco, some or a lot of breaking stucco/drywall is required. They don't do stucco or drywall patching so I was prepared to hire another contractor to repair those damages. I had the estimate done on a Friday AM. Scott gave me all the info I needed and answered all my questions. I was sold on them even though they were my first estimate. Originally, I had purchased the Lorex brand from Costco as the images looked good from the display. What turned me away from the Lorex brand was the research I found that their customer support is non-existent!!! And the fact that the build quality is cheap. Plastic housings and cheap wires! I returned it and researched more into CCTV professional grade cams. Anyways, I thought all day about it and txtd Scott w/ more questions and he replied right away. I also asked Scott if I go w/ Sec Cam Crew would he be willing to give me a discount. He did!! He even threw in an additional 2 extra cams for free!!! So, I made the decision to go forward... Monday comes, Scott arrives on time w/ his brother Tyler and 3 other helpers. Scott told his crew what I requested and after a couple walk-arounds.. his installers said that they won't need to cut the stucco to "fish" the cables inside!!! I was relieved!!! Tyler and his installers are the ones that do the "dirty" work!!! They installed everything as I envisioned at all the spots I wanted. The install took 2 days. As w/ the other reviews.. they worked very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Tyler took his time to go over everything from viewing on the computer to my app via mobile phone. He also left saying if I need any assistance, don't hesitate to call. And one more thing, they also warranty their work and equipment for 3 years!!! This is good to know!!! The cameras are definitely pro-grade!!! They come in a metal housing and are advertised as "vandal proof". Overall, I was very impressed w this company! To compare, my neighbor down the street has security cams but the install looks so horrible!!! Conduit ran all along the side of his brand new house!!! I am glad I went with this company! These guys are the consummate professionals. Great work by Scott and his install team. 10/10 for both value and service. I got a 4TB 16-Ch DVR and 6 dome cams installed for slightly less than a local, equally highly-rated Yelp company wanted for a 2TB 8-Ch DVR and only 5 dome/bullet cams. Scott came out for the estimate on time, did a walk around with me to size up my needs, and took his time to answer all my questions. He submitted the estimate to me via e-mail by the end of the day. Once my decision was made to move forward on the system and install, his team was able to come out within just a couple of days and squeeze me in before I left on a family trip out of state. Tyler and the crew came out early on install day, handled business and were done within a couple of hours. I was shown exactly how to work the new security cam system; Tyler set up the interface with the DVR, defined the zones, set up apps on all my mobile devices to view the cams remotely, and the crew even threw in a hard wire video feed to my living room TV free of charge. We had Scott, Tyler and their team install security cam. They install professional equipment's and installation was planned in advance and completed on scheduled day. During planning, did share my preference of ensuring a system that supported H.265 video compression codec (which consumes 1/3rd HDD space and network as opposed to popular H.264). Scott ensured that the DVR supported H.265. After initial installation, Scott was gracious enough in subsequently swapping original cameras from Full HD to 4K which is now fully H.265 compliant.
