Damage done to my vehicle while in Bob Rohrman Honda possession

Do NOT go here. I took my car in to have the AC repaired under warranty and my car was damaged while in their possession. They were completely unprofessional about the whole process. First they said they took before and after pictures of the vehicles when they come in and when they leave. Then when I questioned them about it and brought the car back in to see said photos, conveniently they did not have an after photo. Not to mention Honda of America also said that every shop should have cameras recording every vehicle being worked on. After multiple attempts to contact them about the situation I was finally told by the service manager, Adam Adrian and the General manager Mr. DUNWOODY that they came to the conclusion that it must have been done by a trailer hitch backing into my car. Total bs. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Go to any other dealership other than Bob Rohrman Honda off sagamore Pkwy in Lafayette.

This is the front of the dealership, eh?

I bought my Honda Civic here in 1996, and as of 2014 it is still running reasonably well for an 18-year-old car. I credit this to using their service center as much as possible. I made the conscientious decision to go to the "dealer" for my automotive service and have not regretted that choice. I know that it is likely that there are places just as good and perhaps less expensive, but that requires a lot of luck in finding. Besides, it is so straightforward to go to a place that knows the recommended maintenance schedule without a great deal of exposition, and there is value in that. Besides, I consider their prices for routine maintenance to be quite fair. Oil changes are comparable to other locations, and when less-frequent "larger" maintenance is needed, I am impressed into the number of checks performed on my vehicle. I do wonder if some repairs are perhaps more expensive, but I suspect that for the oddball repair this would be the best place to go regardless due to the availability of parts. Plus they, like many dealers, over shuttle service for drop-offs. Highly recommended for Honda service.

Waiting on headlight change. Free popcorn machine! Plus at checkout I always get a free big muffin... Or two! Love it here!

Perfect. Like a Mama Bear love 4 my car! I don't know the sales department, but the service department here at Bob Rohrman Honda is DYNAMITE. I have NEVER been wronged. They have NEVER over charged me. They know me by name from 6 years of coming only here. People always "word of mouth" that all dealerships are more expensive. I absolutely disagree. If you have a new car, take it everywhere else for 5 years, and then go to a dealership, It is hard to get the car to their Brand expectations with mismatched parts. My Honda Civic has been taken care of very well. Whenever I want to get in, I schedule an appointment always within a week or less at my own convenience and get the free "loaner" car to borrow so I don't have to wait. They are almost always done with my car in 4 hours or less too even though since I have a loaner and tell them to work on it when they can and I just need it back by closing time at 5 for a same day return. They are done before lunch pretty much ALWAYS. If not, they would CALL me and tell me any discovery made and how much it would cost. This is why I kindly must disagree with the prior reviewer. I am also a long term customer there, only there, for my Honda, and not just for oil changes. When recommended maintenance is requested, I do it. Here is the deal after 6 years. When break pads get from 10 to 2, it IS time to change them. They do an oil change and tire rotation every time or every other time as the cars manual recommends. I keep all my paperwork and they never stiff me. My break pads and tires wear down evenly and exactly as expected. If I DON'T change them I know that the rotors WILL be ruined and I will need to have those fixed too and its my fault then. I might wait a week or two for a paycheck sometimes, but I follow the advised maintenance. How can they ever tell me I need rotors when I just had new brake pads? How can they tell me I need new brake pads or anything when THEY do it all and track it all for me and my car. They don't abuse it, they know my cars everything, and only advise correctly. A price given at the beginning is always a QUOTE. When new stuff is discovered, they call you to discuss the findings, suggest their recommendation, tell you the NEW QUOTE because something else or more needs done, and then you accept or decline. At 55,000 it was nearing tire changing time. Tires need changed at a certain tread depth or mileage help used as a guide. Civic tires are made for 65,000 and certainly could go to that. I told them I needed to save up for that type of investment, and did my research. Compared to non dealership comparisons, it would be like $600 for for tires at tire barn that aren't exactly the ones for my car and guaranteed to 50.000 or low tread. The Honda Service dealership would be about $650 and be the EXACT tires my car came with and the quality of product that goes with the Honda Brand I can't disagree with. Service, parts, time, labor, tires, and a loaner car for the time being worked on for $50 more AND guaranteed until 65,000 miles or low tread. That is a heck of a value for $50 more. (Something like this with the #'s - I am a girl here discussing car parts). Buying my tires there was the absolute best and led to many more blessings: There was a recall on my car and model. The Honda Civic 2006 that had nothing to do with the service department but w/ Honda Brand itself. Honda & the service departments honorably corrected the problem. The rear axis (girl here again) was off at the 6-7 year mark on this year/model and was causing uneven premature tire wear. (NOT service departments fault, they were empowered to CORRECT anyone who brought their car in of that make and model for the free replacement rear axis for all no matter where your prior maintenance was). I missed a letter in the mail and at my oil change they notified me of this and called and asked and told me it would be free. Then, at 95.000 approximately, not 100,000+ told me I needed a tire change again and discussed the logistics of it. I was the star key customer for the FREE tire premature replacement claim due to my managed and documented care. The service guy got me all the information, two copies of my bill, and added his name and number on the official form for the Claim HQs. My second set of new tires are reimbursed. They were nearing the end of their life cycle, but since not quite due yet and I accepted the cost of changing them as the axil caused problem, the Honda Brand claim reimbursed. So I got the new axil. I did let them change my tires and they well documented evidence that there was indeed irregular wear from the problem and to call them with any concerns at all for info on this car and this claim. In the end, free axil, free tires, and full tire reimbursement. My attn to correct maintenance needs saves me money and HUGE bills later. Just like health care, preventative care with f/u and treatment is necessary for cars! Love this place!

Awful place to buy a car. Nobody there is coordinated and usually takes forever to get anything simple done.

so grateful for the fine folks at guaranteed automotive…read more my wife, 7 week old baby, and puppy were driving from cincy to chicago after our first road trip as a family of 4. engine completely gave out on 65N. we were in a crisis, on the side of the interstate with semis speeding by. we got a tow to the nearest mechanic (20+ miles) - and it happened to be guaranteed automotive. they were busy as could be, but still managed to let us know that our catalytic converter went out. they needed to order the part and could get it fixed for us - but it'd be a couple days. the real problem was that it was purdue's move in weekend - and even though enterprise allowed me to book and check into a reservation online - not a single location had a rental car in all of lafayette. same issue with every rental company in the area. what a shame. we needed to get back to chicago bad, especially with a crying newborn. after several frustrating calls with enterprise and hurtz, we decided we'd just uber on home ($270) and come back for the car when it was ready. but out of nowhere, guaranteed auto offered us their little loaner and let us take it back to chicago for 3 days while our car was getting fixed. saved us some money and was very convenient, after a long stressful day. we're so appreciative for the kindness and efficiency we witnessed with guaranteed. i hope i never step foot in there again, but if you're reading this and you're broke down in the area - they'll get you right. only somewhat negative feedback from me is that they're closed on saturday and sunday - and waited to call until friday around closing time to let us know the car was ready for pickup. so had to wait a couple extra days to pickup, whereas if i knew it was going to be ready i could have been there friday afternoon. oh well. pretty good, not bad, can't complain. thanks y'all!

The front desk staff were very friendly and I really appreciated Eric's help. I had a speculation I was burning oil and they made sure to take note and set up an appointment to address that in a months time. Oil change, air filter, and windshield wipers were all very reasonably priced. I had an appointment for 10 AM and was out by 11:30 AM on a busy morning it seemed. Nice little waiting area as well. I will be taking my car here for future services.
