Twice now, this dealership has helped me when no others could. Saturday 7/22/23 at 11:20 am I called Bob Ruwart looking to have an ignition key made due to my daughter being stranded in Colorado after losing her key to our Yukon. I had called two dealerships in Casper and 4 in Colorado and all were wanting to help but couldn't due to either no key in stock or no access to pull codes. Preston from Bob Ruwart's called me back at 11:30, 30 minutes before they closed and was willing to cut keys for me. I am as difficult a customer to deal with as one could possibly find. My career has been spent in negotiations of high value contracts but my sales career started when I hustled beef jerky to beer distributors - a daunting challenges . So most sales people cringe when they have to deal with me because I am "that guy." With that context set I can tell you dealing with Michelle Vickers at Bob Ruwart Motors exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. None of the headaches or hassles - Michelle is always a stoic yet cheerful professional whose negotiations were done with the highest levels of courtesy , dignity and professionalism. The vehicle I bought is superb and she went the extra 100 miles to sell the vehicle with dignity, respect and courtesy. The Ruwart management also embrace this philosophy. Polite, cheerful, professional and most importantly trustworthy and relaxed. This is a dealership where one could send a first time vulnerable buyer such as a junior service member or recent college graduate and know they wouldn't be ripped off. They'd be told the truth of what they could afford and I am quite sure the team would take the time to explain to the novice how financing works. All questions answered with honesty. That's the integrity we expect in Wyoming and is missing at the larger dealerships. I drove from Laramie and know the drive was a worthwhile investment. I know that I am a sold and now convinced loyal client. My recommendation to all is to make the scenic drive to Wheatland for your next vehicle. We were stranded on the side of i25 because of our broken down Chevy with our travel trailer and after calling tow companies after towing companies we called rob ruwart motors and spoke with Jeff who offered to help diagnose our problem over the phone and came up with a quick solution to get it fixed without even towing the truck there! I was impressed at first, but then realized I was mislead and told the asking price was below "blue book." The truth, I found after I carefully looked at the Carfax was the price was over a thousand dollars OVER the "blue book." Honest car dealer must be an oxymoron. read more

This is a delayed review, since we just learned about Yelp. We purchased a Chevy Spark from Ruwart motors and returned to them from Cheyenne last summer, 9 months later, for a free oil change, a recall notice, a noise in the front and to order touch up paint. We had called for an appt. on a Tuesday, stating we would be there by 10:30 am. When we arrived the service desk had no record of an appt. The man who had taken our phone call 10 days before came from the back and said, " Oh yes, I knew they were coming but I didn't put them on the schedule." (We were to pick the Spark up on Sat.) By Thursday, only the oil change had been done. With our urging they diagnosed the front end problem (a bearing) on Thurs or Fri. but didn't have time to order parts. Same story with the recall. They never ordered touchup paint. On Saturday we called to say we would need to pick up the car after the shop had closed. They said that would be no problem and they would leave the key and the paperwork on the front seat of the locked car. When we arrived, there was no key nor any paperwork. We then took the Spark to the Chevy dealer in Cheyenne, who quickly ordered parts and did all repairs. We will not be doing business with Ruwart Motors again. read more
