Even at the height of fuel prices, I had never paid $4.49 a gallon for mid grade unleaded gas in the Midwest. After putting a minimal amount in my tank, I went inside to "chat" with the employees. We knew our spot and decided to set up and reach out the office later. At 3 pm we called again, no answer. than we receive text message saying that our credit card was denied an we need to leave the property immediately, and that the sheriff department was notified and is on its's way. We called again this time lady piked up the phone, we said that we can use different CC, there was no arguing with her she just repeated that sheriff is on its way an we need to leave. We said that we paid one night deposit .... she said that she will refund the money. We packed up made another reservation using the same CC and left in rain and severe thunderstorms. Couple days later we have not receive the refund for our deposit, on top of that our card was charged remaining balance. We disputed the charges and tried to contact the lady again with no luck. Stay away from this place, empty campground ( probably because more people were treated like us), no office stuff, hard to contact the office. and fraudulent CC charges.

Plenty of parking for 18-wheelers, cars, and campers, with a large restroom area (with family restroom). Yet the surprise of this fairly remote rest stop in the middle of BFE, Wyoming was the gas station across the street yet relatively in the same area as the rest stop. Why go anywhere else for gas or eats? Cheyenne is 45 miles away, followed by Denver at 145 miles. By comparison, Casper is 133 miles in the opposite direction, followed by Sheridan, WY and Billings, MT (Billings is 333 miles away). There really isn't too many good rest stop areas to take a breather in- possibly the larger one in Sheridan, which has hotels and gas stations around it. Traveling at night on this stretch of I-25 at night can be challenging. If you are tired and slightly fatigued when traveling either direction in between Cheyenne and Casper, bookmark this rest area. Well worth the stop.

I had a concrete patio and plenty of room for two vehicles. There was no shade, but a walking path behind the park. I would absolutely stay here again!
