Things to know: *You get to choose the drink base you want PLUS add boba if you'd like *There are "popping boba" as well as a chewy boba -- our family is not a fan of the texture and taste of the chewy boba (felt it took away from the drink) but the popping boba is divine! *By and large in our family the mango milk tea with the mango popping boba is the favorite! *You can get the drinks less sweet!!! I got my drink with 1/2 the sweetener last visit and it was even better that way! *Ample seating inside and several spots outside with tables and chairs *The parking situation is a shared strip mall parking lot. The shops here are consistently busy but there is plenty of parking options - just don't be surprised if you've gotta park far out! *The strip mall has a really lovely sidewalk which makes for walking with your drink really nice! The landscaping is so nice here, too. *Boba Society offers a punch card which is a great incentive to come back to earn a free drink! This place changed my whole outlook on boba! The location is in the amazing new Lake District shopping center and parking is easy. The inside is cute yet simple. The staff is very friendly and work hard to make your experience a great one! Now the food and drinks were top tier. I've been a couple of times with my husband and the endless combination of drinks never cease to amaze us. The Korean corn dogs here are some of the best I had. They taste so fresh. The service was great, and I was helped right away, buying the drink the kind young lady ringing up my order said was her favorite. This was a small (16 Oz) white peach and raspberry fruit tea with tapioca boba, and the total was $7.50 before tip. The taste was decent but tasted a little weak, not the flavors I was expecting, and perhaps that was my fault for choosing an iced fruit tea instead of the milk tea or blended. The milk tea I got was sooo delicious! Roasted Brown Tiger Sugar Milk tea is so yummy, as is their Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken (eaten before a picture could be taken). The chicken was crispy, juicy, and season well. The chicken comes in Small or Large, but the small is enough for a good snack. It comes with a sauce of your choice. I got a sweet chili and another light sauce I'm not quite sure the name. A small tea + small popcorn chicken is roughly $15 which is perfect for a small lunch or snack until your next big meal. The staff was helpful & nice, and the establishment was clean and nice. It's a smaller little shop, so it can feel loud or crowded but it's not a big deal. Got some Tiger sugar boba and they didn't add the boba. Automatically, with (tiger sugar) boba is added but it's additional charge for this drink. That's my only gripe about it and not enough brown sugar on the boba, that's the importance of this drink. Other than that it was "Good." The food is especially delicious. First time trying out Boba Society and decided to try their Rose Milk tea and spicy Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The food was great-- freshly made to order. The chicken was crunchy and had a good flavor. The drink itself was ok-- had a good rose milk tea flavor and the boba itself was was nice and soft, BUT it was wayyy too sweet. As a peson who's been too many many boba places before, I know that you can adjust the sweet level but never have I been to a place where regular sweetness is THIS sweet. Opening weekend!!!!! We have been waiting for this place to open and they finally did! We are so excited to have a boba restaurant in the area. The space is beautiful and even though they were busy, everything seemed to be moving along seamlessly. My daughter got the dragonfruit flavor and I got rose. YUM for both of them! The flavors are more sophisticated here and I love that you can adjust the amount of sugar on request. I waited awhile before writing this review because I kept wanting to give them another try but sadly, this place is just not consistent and I don't think I will be getting my bobas from here until they work out their kinks. We always leave disappointed with the milk teas, they were either overly sweet and extremely watered down. They can't even make something common like Thai milk tea with consistent flavor. One time I ordered a Taro milk tea and the color was grey??! And it tasted like artificial flavored water. They have some good food options here but again, consistency is not their strong suit. I like their garlic Cajun fries but one time they were so overly seasoned with salt I could barely eat it. Another time it was way too spicy. It's unfortunate because this place is just down the street from where I live but I'll be getting my bobas from Poke World for the foreseeable future. I think I've given them enough tries. read more

I had the Taro smoothie with lychee jelly and it was very flavorful. Their menu was extensive and all the drinks we ordered were delicious. The brown sugar was a hit with my husband and kids. They absolutely loved how this had honey boba in it. The strawberry smoothie was also something they enjoyed. The cafe is in a nice location, it looks pretty new. The cafe was clean and the staff were all really nice. They were very good with answering any questions we may have had with any of the drinks. My first time here today with my toddler and we loved it! We ordered a Taro milk tea with boba & 2 Korean corn dogs, 1 with beef hotdog and the other half & half, cheese & beef dog. The corndogs were large and very filling, delicious and fresh. The cheese pull was insane. The Taro milk tea was delicious as well! We were visiting from Orange County, California, where good boba stores are plentiful. So we were in search of a decent boba place here, and my boys were thrilled to find this place. They even begged to come back a second time! They loved the drinks and the food. My only suggestion for improvement is to make the garlic noodles less salty, and the noodles would taste better if a bit more al dente. The service was friendly. I had the world's worst boba craving on a cross-country road trip. Being in Tennessee, I was super reluctant to cave into my cravings because I was certain that there wouldn't be any decent boba if any boba at all in the state. I saw mostly good reviews for Boba Society, so I decided to give it a shot. Walking in, the store looked very clean. The interior was decorated nicely and reminded me very much of my go-to boba shop back home. I kept telling myself that I would just pick something off the menu and hope for the best, but when it was my turn to order I couldn't help but blurt out the most taboo of questions: is the milk tea made with powder? At home, subpar boba shops will make their taro milk tea or Thai milk tea with taro or Thai tea powder and their fruit teas with fruit syrups. To my surprise, the girl taking my order took a moment to process my question before answering honestly. As a boba connoisseur, I can tell when my tea is made with powder versus if it's a real brew, and nothing is more disappointing than paying real tea money for a powder base. I ordered accordingly and got the Hokkaido milk tea, which in hindsight I messed up because my go-to is the Okinawa milk tea, but nonetheless, it was good for what it was. I was impressed by the diverse selection of drinks on their menu and the fact that a good number of the drinks are made as they should be--without powder and syrups. Came in tonight with three friends. We placed a large order and received 2 extra corn dogs. We were pleasantly surprised and assumed it complimentary. After about 10 minutes, one of the workers came asked whether we were given extra mozzarella corn dogs. We said we had and the worker insinuated she wanted them back saying "I am sorry those weren't for you." We pointed out that we had already touched them and they were with our food. The worker storned off in a huff and proceeded to begin yelling at staff "WE NEED TWO CORN DOGS PRONTO HURRY UP" all dramatic while throwing side eye. Made us all uncomfortable with her passive aggressiveness. Will never go back. Would worry about my food being touched by randos. Good Boba tea though. read more

This location is AMAZING. I'm never the type of person to go out of my comfort zone when it comes to food/drinks, but EVERYTHING here is good. Like unbelievably good. I come here at least once a week and every time the owners are there working with the employees. Their corndogs are made in house and FRESH. The pic shows how cheesy it is!! My daughter has jumped on the Boba tea bandwagon!! Every time we leave the house she wants a boba tea. According to her this place has good boba tea, I'll take her word for it. They have a lot of options and the teas look good. That's not why I'm giving them a 5 star rating. I don't even like boba teas, I don't need balls popping in my mouth. House special Vietnamese iced coffee - simply the best iced coffee I've ever had. Though I don't even love coffee that much. So what did I like so much you ask? The Thai popcorn chicken (I chose spicy). Absolutely incredible! The garlic noodles are on point and the Cajun garlic fries are good....they are great when dipped in the garlic sauce provided. Pretty good! We went on opening day. Which was pretty hectic. I got a Thai matcha latte. Interesting combination and got it 50% sweet and it was perfect. I can't imagine 100% sweet would taste like. We ordered 5 drinks. The taro was the last one they made for us. The color of it was a bit off to me. And of course it tasted like crap because they definitely messed up. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because it was so hectic. Which is why I gave them 4 stars. We were excited to see this Boba spot open up minutes away from us. My milk tea w boba was amazing the first time. But all the visits after that, our drinks were made inconsistently and just didn't taste the same (or good). On a couple occasions I just had to toss my drink out or handed it to the nearest person to me in frantic fashion. We were hoping we could be regulars and really wanted to like the place, but think we've given them enough tries. SO glad a delicious boba shop finally opened up in Lakeland! My go to drinks are definitely the Specialty Tea's (Peaches & Strawberry fruit tea w/ fruit bits or Mango Passionfruit Black Tea with Longan) and ALWAYS get it with their signature honey boba. I love how they have a large selection of toppings to choose from such as crystal boba, gras jelly, custard, etc. If you need a pick me up, order their house special Viet iced coffee, it's literally crack. For milk teas, my go to is either Honey Green Milk Tea or the Wintermelon Milk Tea. DON'T skip out on their small bites either!! They're all made fresh to order and I'm seriously addicted to their popcorn chicken, so moist and full of flavor. High recommend checking out Boba Society! read more

First time we came it was great. Ordered 4 different drinks, fried chicken and fries. Was a little spendy but felt it was worth it given the other options. Second time we only ordered 3 drinks. One was the wrong order and another was mostly ice with 10-15 bobas in it. The cup was also had an inch and a half crack at the top and that much liquid was gone. We did request them to remake them, which they did without issue. But I'm less willing to make the drive and pay extra due to the huge swing in inconsistency. read more
