Pearl's Tea was close to where we were so we decided to stop by and get five boba drinks, three for the kids and two for us. We opted for two pineapple teas, two mango peach teas, and one strawberry tea, with various boba and jellies. The teas were ok. They adjusted the level of sweetness appropriately based on our requests. The tapioca pearls were the challenge. They were too soft, almost disintegrating in the drink. They formed a bit of a mushy blob at the bottom of the drink. Not good. If I returned to Pearl's, I would get the tea without boba. Prices were reasonable. read more

Been curious about this new place in Midtown Memphis. I wanted to check out the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was pretty tasty and did not seem overly sweet. It was 6.00 or so with the tax. A little higher than I am used to paying but these days, items are more costly. I really like the decor. It is a nice shop with some boba tea stuffed items and ample seating inside. It reminds me of a cute and inviting cafe. There is an extensive menu of baked items, boba, coffee and street food. Service was great. The gentleman recommended some items and asked us where we were from. He was very friendly. I really enjoyed this new place on Peabody Avenue. read more

This has become my favorite spots by the house. Open on the weekends, and walkable in the central gardens area. Definitely cute aesthetic. Love that there are so many places to sit and get work done. I ordered wings and fries the first time. Fries were seasoned very well. Wings sauce was good, a little too much breading, but flavor was great. Second time came for a Vietnamese coffee, & tried it hot instead of iced for the first time; was yummy! Paired it with a delicious warm bubble waffle! Great Sunday breakfast! Got a chicken meatball banh mi, to go, for dinner - Delicious as well! They have the menu of restaurant next door too if you're looking for more savory Asian items. Service was great. I love this place! It's a new coffeehouse located in Midtown Memphis that serves delicious Vietnamese bites and various drinks. The drinks include milk tea bobas, fruit teas, smoothies, Vietnamese coffee (iced/hot), etc. The foods include delicious Vietnamese Banh Mi, egg rolls, wings, spring rolls, popcorn chicken, edamame, etc. Their full menu is on their website. The service is amazing! It is a Vietnamese owned coffeehouse. The owner is very friendly and fun to interact with. His wife makes the little desserts fresh daily. The other workers are kind and helpful, as well. This place is a two story house turned into cafe, so it has plenty of seating upstairs and clean bathrooms. As a Vietnamese person coming from CA, these are the best boba drinks and banh mi that I've had in the area! Something to note, the tapioca is perfectly chewy and not hard like some places. The banh mi bread is crispy and warm, just perfect. Had a great experience at this tea house. The service was friendly, and the Vietnamese cuisine didn't disappoint. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi (option 2) and grilled chicken skewers--both were really good. The sauce on the vegetables in the banh mi was especially tasty and tied everything together perfectly. I also tried the Fruitea with mango boba, which was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu, especially the lychee fruitea next time. Day 1: customer service was awesome, nice and clean environment and welcoming faces and people in the inside! The power outage did suck the fun out of things but that mango+ peach tea I had changed things for me luckily DAY 2!! FYE‍I finally got a chance to try that mango smoothie...that's gotta be my favorite so far!!And no thanks to the power outage yesterday, I finally got a chance to really see the pretty lights and everything inside the place really helps world building alongside other beautiful decor in there. Also sidebar, the patio outside is so COOL! The drink I ordered was not made the way I asked for it to be made with boba and crystals as a topping. I've gotten the drink here several times and it was made properly.
