If you walk into her shop, you'll see aaaall of the photos of dresses and wedding dresses she has worked on. Personally, I purchased a Val Stefani Wedding dress off the rack for a ridiculously cheap price. I'm talking, under $1000 when the dress was originally almost $4000. But here's the catch...the dress was a size 14 and I am between a size 2-4. Ok, I know what you're thinking. And yes, stupid described me wonderfully at that present time. But a deal is a deal so I set out on a hunt for the best seamstress in town. Good news...FOUND HER! After she got over the initial shock of how much work needed to be done, she smiled and said...I'll see you back here in about 2 months for your first fitting. Well, I came back a few times and let me just say, each time the dress was more gorgeous than before. She accommodated to changes, hand-sowed beads back into place, and I took this dress out the door right on time for my wedding! The price? I didn't pay more than $400 for alterations. But let me say this: Wanda became more of a friend to me than anything. We sat and talked, I vented my wedding planning woes, we laughed, and she always pointed me back to what matters. I still come into the shop, even 4 months after my wedding, just to say hello to her. Like I said, she becomes more of a friend than anything. And I have to admit, although I really want to learn how to sow, I like always having a reason to come into her shop to support her business and to talk to my wonderful new friend! Ps: I attached some pics of my wedding dress after it was all finished. I wish I had "before" pics, but she took the dress from a size 14 down to a 2...so needless to say...she did a phenomenal job!

My friend and I had booked a candle making class for Valentine's Day Weekend (Galantine's Day for…read moreus! LOL) but we had a snafu with mother nature that made us reschedule to March 9th, 2025 for 2 pm. Neither of us had been here before but I have taken candle making classes in another state. We arrived and were able to park right in front. Jennifer, the owner immediately came downstairs (it's 2 floors) and told us to start smelling some candles to kind of get an idea fo what we wanted when we got upstairs to the workshop. The downstairs is a very cutesy, boutique style shop with of course candles, gifts, greeting cards, candle accessories, drinking glasses, sticker, you name it. Even her displays and decor was oh so cute I could not stop looking at it or complimenting her!. I kinda already knew/know what kind of scents I like but my friend took a little longer to figure it out so I of course found more things to purchase lol. Once my friend was done, we went upstairs to the workshop. Oh gosh, upstairs is just as cute if not MORE!. It had a full size kitchen, the workshop area and a middle seating area with a couch and other decor. If you want, you can bring food and drinks to the glass. Once upstairs she had a place set up for me and my friend with everything we would need to make a candle. We both decided we wanted two candles once we were there as well. You prepay for the class for 1 and we added an additional. She went thru the many scents she has to choose from and ways to layer them. She also offer different vessels if you want to upgrade from the original one you get with the glass. Prices were very, very reasonable I thought on everything, even the gift items. A bigger group of ladies came in about 30 min after us and she worked with both of us. Me and my friend ended up being there about 2 hours total, but I think normal time is about an hour. You do have to go back and get your candle once it sets or she can ship it to you. I opted to go pick ours up because I was off later in the week anyway. This is a great place to have a little fun and an amazing place if you love candles like I do. I highly recommend coming here if only for the gifts. Clean, friendly, great parking and prices on it all. Thank you Jennifer!
