The show was performed at High Point Theatre (220 E Commerce Ave, High Point, NC 27260) which is a spectacular venue in downtown High Point. The cast was primarily young dancers and singers from the community. We are guessing that the ages ranged from 15 to 19. All were spectacular. The actors really made me understand the characters. The cast's intensity was infectious. This was a tremendous performance and we were very glad that attended and experienced this show. We will be going back to see more productions of HPC

The quaint theatre boasts beautiful stained glass windows and comfy seats and the cozy community theatre vibe where no seat in the house is a bad one. We were on the front row center this time and loved it! The actors in this production were spot on and I loved the OCT adaption of the book/movie. The comedic moments had us laughing, but the serious moments were quite powerful in this intimate setting, and even though I knew the story, found myself leaning towards the stage waiting to see what was next! Visit the website for upcoming plays and patronize this precious hometown gem, you won't be disappointed! There is local artwork for sale in the lobby and light refreshments offered as well for reasonable prices. For every play I've attended at least part of the cast is mingling with the patrons following the play and I just adore that! So fun to chat with them and share your thoughts about that night's production. I can't wait to go back soon...seriously - check it out!
