I am completely absorbed with every play, the writing and stage direction are wonderful, the sets are very artistic and well-made, the costuming is fabulous, and the actors and actresses are multi-talented, provocative, and brilliant. Whether it is their rendition of Steel Magnolias, or an original play written by Mr. Nierle, such as Ebenezer's Trailer Park Christmas Spec-Tac-Yule-R, this troupe of actors are the finest around and Nierle is simply inspired. OSCT has performed Off-Broadway, and that is exactly the sort of performance you will see with every production. I cannot recommend this theater enough. Go see!

We got our tickets and a drink and a popcorn each. Like I said in the beginning, it had been a while since I was last in a movie house. It was almost $70 bucks for two people and I used my veteran discount on the tickets or it would of been more like eighty. The theater itself was nice enough, but nothing fancy. It actually looked a little dated and dirty. Okay sound and a fair screen, my tv at home has a better picture in my opinion. It used to be an inexpensive way to go out, going to the movies. No more. I was like, "Where is this???" We drive down that road all the time and had no idea it was even there! What we loved about it is that it's not one of those fancy theaters. It's an independent local theater that's definitely a little outdated, in the best vintage way! We don't need reclining seats or 3D to enjoy every movie. Sometimes all you want is a big screen and theaters like Marketplace Cinema are getting harder to find these days. The best part? Tickets were only $9 for us and just $7 for my college son! We'll definitely be back. I love finding and supporting local places like this.

Myself (and my friends that I brought along) arrived just 15 minutes before the sold-out show only to enter a jam-packed theater house full of comedy-lovers. A couple of detractors included, 1- the reclining chairs were a little beat up; 2- there were a lot of commercials (in addition to some previews, which are welcome) shown before the movie, the lobby is small and there really wasn't much of a place to wait before entering the theater. I find this to be a stupendous addition, which happens to be the VERY nice sized trays for your snacks. I noticed that some complained about the sound and the cold temperatures. I was in theater 2 which is a smaller viewing room, which I really enjoyed. The sound? Normal theater sound to me. I don't recall my Apple Watch picking up excessive sound. Cold? I always make sure I wear a sweater or a hoodie to the theater so no complaint there. I did however notice when I was leaving that people actually brought blankets in with them. The only complaint I have is the popcorn. The small is HUGE for one person. It was about $9 and it was super meh. I guess the hot butter is not an option? I didn't ask, I guess I didn't need it anyway. It was also lacking salt. There is an option to purchase the popcorn seasoning by Kernel Seasons though. The Greek festival took place at the Greek church in Winston they had a variety of foods and activities all throughout the area! I got the Greek pizza, Loukoumades, spanikopita and potato wedges! The place was pretty packed as today was opening day. Parking is all the way down right by the church just follow the signs. I will say I got lucky with mine and there's a couple parking spots before you really start getting towards the church. Under the tent area is where you can find the entrees, and in the gymnasium area it's the lunch specials and Greek pastries and some dessert options too.
