I called Bobby's to come unstop my kitchen sink. The plumber came and applied a lot of de-grease which did cause grease to come bubbling out the pea trap and the drain started working, but it only lasted a few days of light use. I had asked the plumber why he didn't roto-snake but he said it was grease and it wouldn't have any effect on grease which I'm sure he is right about. When Bobby's came back a second time claiming no warranty they did the same procedure, declining my request to roto snake, and charged me the same amount for a total 0f $420 and left. The drain worked but it again only lasted a few days of light use. Both times I asked the plumber to run the roto snake down there to make sure there was no obstruction and both times they refused and said it was grease. The second time I called the admin I had asked for assurance the plumber would roto snake the drain and I was told yes. I still have a clogged sink for my $420. I called third time the admin and I was like ok look this is silly I have paid enough and would someone please roto-snake the drain, so I know me personally know for sure there isn't a secondary issue. And they said there is no warranty and in no uncertain terms would someone come and roto-snake the drain. Like there is no way I am going to pay them again to come over. Sheesh! read more

I had a toilet not filling, but more than that I had a clogged drain in my kitchen sink. We had a clog further down the line last year and it was cleared, so I was told, by another plumbing company. I was concerned that the previous clog was still there causing the kitchen sink to back up. Joe from Bobby's Plumbing showed up early (imagine that!) and went immediately to work. He asked to look at where the toilet issues were and where the septic is so I showed him. Returning to the kitchen and before he began he made a determination that the sink was clogged from grease getting down into the kitchen sink. He got an electric "snake", placed a large tarp on the floor in front of the sink and proceeded to put the snake into the drain. It took about 20 minutes and sure enough it was a grease clog quite far down the line toward the septic tank. He cleared the clog, rolled the snake back up and put it all back into his van. Then he went to the toilet, heard about the issues and went to his van to get the part, which was a fill valve, and installed it. That took about 15 minutes total. All together both issues took a little under an hour, maybe a little more. Bottom line is I was impressed with the efficiency of Joe, the fact that he showed up early, totally knew his trade and solved both issues in very little time. I have used almost every plumber in the Sebastian area for various issues in a home new to us, though not new. I felt more confident that the issues were finally resolved this time, than with any other company. I highly recommend this company and in particular Joe. Thank you! read more

Was told that they could not do warranty work on a unit they did not install. They were, however, on the manufacturer's list of companies who were vetted to do warranty work, and the manufacturer assured me that I could choose any company from the list they gave me. I called another plumber to perform the warranty work, and that company was also befuddled at the response I got from Bobby's. Perhaps that is just the decision of the company. We had a big problem that couldn't wait til the next day. Called Bobby's plumbing and spoke to John, who was very nice on the phone. He promised someone would get there around 4, and called again to let me know the time exactly. A nice young man showed right on time and discovered the problem and took care of it promptly. I can't say anything bad- from my initial phone call to the service I received. Office was fast with appointment (non emergency) and the technician was fast with his solution (fix). I appreciated his "plumbing humor too". All in all a great experience that I expected to pay a lot more than I did. On March 9, 2015 Bobby's Plumbing replaced the Moen single-handle shower cartridge (part no. 1222B) in my guest shower. On May 12, the guest shower handle was extremely hard to turn and, before further damage would ensue, I reported the matter to Bobby's Plumbing and scheduled an appointment for the next day. During my conversation with the woman who answered the phone, she asked me several questions as to how the damage might have occurred. I have no children living at home, the only person who uses the shower is my girlfriend who does nothing other than to turn the handle the left to enable water to flow and turn the handle to the right to stop the flow of water. Not too difficult...no abuse at all has occurred. I asked the woman if the part had a warranty, but she claimed not to know if it did or didn't. Her entire attitude was condescending and rude. In response to my question as to the charge for the repair of the repair, she stated I would be charged for another service call AND the cost of the part. Recently, one of my neighbors had had some work done by Elite Plumbing. I asked him how was the experience and he spoke very highly of the service and the cost. I still had a very bad feeling about Bobby's Plumbing, from my earlier telephone call and the shoddy work performed on my guest shower. I called Elite Plumbing and spoke with Jason, the owner. He was in the area and volunteered to immediately come to check out the shower. Afterwards I called Bobby's and cancelled the next day's appointment. The woman who took the call, the same one I spoke with earlier, did not seem surprised when I told her I was using another plumbing company. The shower cartridge was defective and needed to be replaced. Jason informed me that the part was covered under warranty - which was unknown to me - but I should have been told by Bobby's. I expect work to be done in my home to be high quality and to be guaranteed.. If any parts or products are warrantied, I expect to be told . I am not impressed with Bobby's Plumbing and would not recommend them to anyone. Their work is shoddy, they do not guarantee their work and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Had a leak in our laundry room. Bobby's sent two guys out. Rather than pull the washer away from the wall and inspect, they borrowed a step ladder to look behind the washer. They ran a partial cycle and concluded that it was not a plumbing issue and that the washer's drain was malfunctioning. They were there for about 20 minutes and charged $100. We called Shawn Zink to look at the washer. He pulled the washer out from the wall and did a thorough inspection. He told us that it was a plumbing problem and that the washer was fine. The drain hose had a crack in it. He fixed it himself for $85. I called Bobby's twice to explain to them our experience. The receptionist took down the details and said we would be hearing from their service manager. Never heard from them. Terrible customer service. read more

On time, great price and did a great job! We had slow to drain shower and toilets. Called the office (after doing my research) - told them this was not an emergency - an appointment was made to my satisfaction. On the day of my appointment, the office called asking if I was ready for them to come over...and boy was i! John arrived went right to work and problem was solved (snake used) within 45 minutes. He had to cut down shrubs in order to gain access to the drain, bundled them up and placed them on my curb; very thoughtful! All in all, it's been 4 days since he worked his magic and all is running quite nicely. Thank you Bobbies - staff and "the man" all top notch in my book. Went to their shop to buy pfisher cartdridge for a shower. They sold it for $95. I was told the part was expensive since it was hard to find. Afterward, I went online and found it for $22. Unless you're willing to pay extremely high prices (4 times competitors) for parts, I will never use them again. read more
