Had cravings and ordered some boba after dinner. There were some discrepancies through delivery service menus (DoorDash offering the specialties and UberEats not having them). Played with both carts before deciding to keep it simple and compare basic items to other spots. While this might be one of the better boba spots in the area because it's not too popular outside of Portland, I felt it was underwhelming overall. They offer a jumbo size at 32oz for an extra $1.75 but not sure if it's honestly worth because they fill a ton of volume with ice. Even with less ice, my drink seemed to float in the arctic. Classic Milk Tea w/ Boba - first of all, the boba was a bit firmer and harder than average levels. Still chewy, just tough. However, there was great flavor as the sugar marination stuck. Milk tea was very basic, at 25% sugar, it was light with creaminess from the milk. Black tea base but the tea flavor was not prominent. Matcha Fresh Milk Tea - very viscous, as if the drink had too much syrup. Recommended 50% sweet which is close to 75-100% on a normal boba drink and I think is guilty for the viscosity. Overall, there was an okay matcha flavor but the texture was way off. Unsure if low quality matcha powder or if they have some type of matcha syrup. read more

Lovely interior, nice vibes, great job on the decoration. Drinks are okay too but it's a bit pricey, located in a quiet plaza in Albany, they priced their drinks equivalent to the expensive Bay Area's standard. We had the popcorn chicken and taiyaki, it's not bad. read more

It was my first time trying boba in Oregon, and although they weren't my favorite, they're not the worst drinks I've had. I tried the blueberry slush, classic milk tea with boba and 75% sweetness, and matcha milk tea with agar boba and 50% sweetness. I tried a bit of the blueberry slush and you can tell they use real blueberries; it's not something I would order, but my dad really liked the cream at the top. The classic milk tea was a bit watered down, and it had a slightly herbal taste to it. The boba also wasn't the best because it was a bit undercooked :/ The matcha milk tea wasn't great because you can tell the matcha isn't the best quality (it didn't have the taste that a clean ceremonial matcha would have). Aside from the drinks, the inside decor and furniture was so nice here,, really nice lighting, seating, and there are outlets too if you want to study. Came here a couple times to try different drinks, this boba is better than anything I've had around here. Coming from the bay where there's boba everywhere it's hard to find a decent boba tea spot. I've had the mango slush with lychee jelly which was delicious, a good sweet drink! The matcha milk tea was good too, though I would have expected a brighter ceremonial matcha rather than the dull green culinary matcha. Service was great and she had helpful recommendations on changing sweetness levels for the drink. It was empty each time I went which was surprising, but well worth the trip. read more

Although it is the best Boba spot here in town, the Boba drinks can be inconsistent depending on who is making them. There have been times when I would consider it one of the greatest I've had, and other times, it will be just alright. I always order the same thing - Thai tea with brown sugar Boba. Not nearly the best bubble tea I've had however there are no great alternative options nearby. I wish they had smoothies that did not mix with green tea as it really takes away from the fruit flavor and would be a good option for those who do not like green tea. My go to is the mango smoothie with boba, which does its job. I prefer it without the green tea though but it's not an option. Boba itself is chewy with slight tea flavor. Would go back if I am in the mood for bubble tea since there really isn't any other better option in Albany. Decor in the place is cute with options to buy them (ie pins, plushies etc). I went here with a friend near the end of their opening hours. They only had enough tapioca for one tea so I ended up having a green tea smoothie while my friend had the actual boba. Both were extremely tasty! We also tried their steamed pork Bao and omfg I've been thinking about them ever since because they're just THAT good. If you haven't had a Bao dumpling before, ya need to, because they're out of this world. The two people working, who I believe are the owners, was an extremely nice couple too.
