Came here yesterday and got the Taiwanese popcorn chicken which was really good. The esthetics of the location are really cute! The only reasons I didn't give five stars is because the girl behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in and it seemed like she was the manager or something. No 'welcome in' and she didn't smile or anything when we were ordering. I've worked in customer service all my life and it just seemed odd. I was at Bobo's today with my boyfriend and I saw a manager being aggressive with an employee, and to be honest I came here to spend quality time because I was told this was a good place. There aren't really many competitors in the area that sell similar items. For me, I usually get the ribbon ice (taro) with egg pudding and condensed milk as toppings. They have good variety in flavors for ribbon ice and toppings. I think the serving sizes are adequate, no need to get the biggest size unless you're sharing. Also offer Taiwanese popcorn chicken and taiyaki which is like a soft pastry shaped as a fish and can be filled with chocolate, ice cream, etc. For milk tea or other drinks I usually prefer Leaf Tea house though, which is close by. read more

I found out about this spot from Yelp. I happened to be in the area and decided to give it a whirl.....I'm sooo glad I did! Decor and Entertainment: I LOVED the decor! That's actually what made me want to visit. They have the name of their shop on the left wall. This is part of their seating area, so you can sit inside the letters, pretty cool!! They also have a "light sign" that reads "Life Is Great!" that is accompanied by a fish. Good amount of seating and environment was clean. Staff: There was a young lady and young man there that helped me make decision about what I wanted. I'm very greatful because this was my first time trying a place like this. Food/Drink: As I stated, this was my first time at a place like this. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the combo. which consisted of a soft serve "fish cone" and a drink (both were equally delicious). The "fish cone" was fresh and soft. It's not like a waffle or sugar cone, it's thicker. The "fish cone" paired with the ice cream was amazing. Every bite tasted like a fluffy cloud of goodness! The drink was wonderful as well! I got the passion fruit sweet milk drink. I have an amazing experience here in BoBo. This is a cute little hidden gem in Fayetteville. I'm visiting my sister here from Pittsburgh and she took me here for bubble tea. Yuuum. I ended up getting their ribbon shaved ice. You can pick a flavor ice, two toppings and a drizzle. Extra topping is $0.50 which I think is super reasonable. I got milk flavor shaved ice, with egg pudding, red bean, and mango as toppings, I picked condensed milk for drizzle. It's freaking delicious!! My sister got a milk tea with soy milk and tapioca. She loves it as well. The owner here is Taiwanese and she is the sweetest lady. Starting tomorrow 10/16 they're gonna start selling Taiyaki, taiyaki is a fish shaped pastry that have red bean paste in there. Ooh it's the best, if you haven't tried this place, please do so! The only disappointing and upsetting thing I ordered were the popcorn chicken. It was pricey ($7) for 16 pieces of chicken. I ordered two over-seasoned and super oily non-popping chicken. She deep- fried some kale and heavy handed seasoned it, too. It was super salty and chicken were drenched in the 5 spiced seasoning. I'd appreciate it if it was properly drained before boxing it.
